There is definitely a way to do it that could be reminiscent or 911 or the CHICAGO series while also having a lot of relationship drama and tons of eye candy. But it's not exactly an easy balance to strike. I wonder if they'll go for a lighter tone or just dead-serious. Oh, interesting! I didn't know that. So sounds like they think they've got something strong.

Look, I'm not gonna defend this lol But if you're gonna do this, you absolutely center it around Hobie (which they seem to be doing) and, let's face it, the original show was not a masterpiece. I just wish they'd pleasantly surprise us with the cast. I mean, the girl from PRETTY LITTLE LIARS? Noah Beck? The only way to make this work is with a charming cast (beyond looks).

I had such fondness for FASHION HOUSE and was so excited to see them try telenovelas. I watched the first few weeks as it aired or so but I was a freshman in college and soon gave up, especially with the constant flashbacks and what was kind of a false promise of Bo Derek vs Morgan Fairchild and then Fairchild didn't even properly show up until halfway through the novela lol That being said, I've seen about half of it now (there was an entire episode of like 6 minutes of new material and the rest was flashbacks!!) but I do want to complete it. WICKED, WICKED GAMES looked very interesting as well but I never tried it. Too bad they couldn't have done it a little better. Not having streaming at the time also messed their chances up.

I think you should! You could easily watch 2 of the episodes and get caught up with everything lol It's basically 3 plot points the entire season stretched out over 22 episodes. I can't imagine rewatching it!!

This seems to be just a part of a larger situation - Max bettering himself, Max and Cindy, Max and Linda, maybe Max and Bea? - I don't necessarily like this aspect of it that much, but I can see where they're going with it. Unless you just don't like the entire thing lol

They're REALLY trying my patience with Jasmine. I don't know how much experience the actress has, but she seems very green to me, inconsistently turning in performances - and yet they insist on giving her really heavy material. HELLOoooo Mark!
