  1. That explains it all. But if they were trying to copy a soap, they should've copied a more successful ABC soap at the time like AMC, OLTL, or GH.
  2. OK. That explains it all. Damn. Liza's late husband's family stayed coming for her. His mother [Mignon], his father [Rusty], and his cousin.
  3. Andrea is NOTHING like Camille. Trust and believe. Camille spoke truth a lot of time and she was good vixen-like villainess. Andrea, on the other hand, is a miserable sow. She just created chaos and division just for the hell of it. She was intimidated by Gina IMO. Gina is the independent woman Andrea would want to be. And she [Andrea] left because the fans came for her ass and she couldn't handle it. She was sure that the fans would be all for her, but they weren't. It ate at her that Gina, her adversary, was the breakout star.
  4. How is Cord related to Liza? From a previous episode, I assumed he was yearning for her how he reacted when with Stu and Martin. And didn't RH and SFT run in the same timeslot? That'd probably explain why Search copied RH. They wanted to gain some of their viewership. They already had Louise Shaffer [who was previously on RH]. Now they had the bar and big Irish family too.
  5. This is why I wish that they either had brought back Miami or aired Melbourne in a primetime slot. We have two months to suffer through until RHOA & RHOBH return. And Jersey ain't doing it for me this season. It's falling flat.
  6. Don't know if anyone posted these on here already. But if so, ignore them. SN: I didn't know that Paul was engaged to a hooker named Cindy. Damn. Paul stays losing when it comes to life. He cannot catch a break for anything.
  7. I'm having housewives withdrawals too. And I see that they are trying to use Shahs as a filler but they aren't going to be able to fill it either. Especially since 99% of the cast [minus my precious GG] is trash. But I keep telling myself to be patient and pray that when RHOA returns, it runs till May like they did last season. And I am going to shockingly miss the OC too! They impressed me this season. I just hope that they keep these five women [yes, even gutter butt as Tamra], but add or bring back two women from the past. I need season 10 to be epic.
  8. I think with all the creative minds on this board combined, we could form 4 great writing teams to run the remaining four.
  9. You're welcome. Were the McCleary clan supposed to be SFT's carbon copy to the Ryans [of RH]? From the bar set [which looked a lot like the Ryan's bar] to the McCleary family being Irish and big [in family size]....
  10. So do you! I learn so much from you too. I can always count on someone on this board to answer a question when it comes to soaps before my time. Or life in general. My extended family. Group hug! I love you two! I love you all!
  11. What is the story with the Kendall clan? What happened to Alec? Justine annoys me and this is already three episodes in. It's just something about her that does not mesh well with me. I so glad that Liza loosened up and finally got into that sleeping bag with Kentucky. I hope the threw him the 'hello kitty' because I know I would if I was in her position. I was a little confused with Cord's reaction when he was talking to Martin and Stu. Does he have feelings for Liza or is he fretting b/c his business career might be in peril?
  12. Good lord. I normally don't care for quads involving siblings as they aren't written with balance and they are typically one sided, but this is quad I'd love to see from start to finish. I'd really love to see the scenes of Lorie learning that Leslie is carrying Lance's child. I know it had to be hard for Lorie to lose once again Leslie. See this is why I want the Brooks/Prentiss/Foster clans to reemerge on Y&R. It's still so much that could be told between Chris, Snapper, Greg, Lorie, Lucas, Lance, and Leslie and add on a newer generation of this extended family (i.e. Jennifer, Brooks, Chucky, and any other possible children) and it'd be way more interesting [with a capable writer] than what's going on right now.
  13. I'd like Cat on either show [OC or NYC]. Preferably OC because she'd be another person to call Trashra out. And I am glad that someone else is pissed that Bravo pulled the plug so easily. RHODC had so much potential and it showed during the two part reunion. Especially, when the husbands joined them in the second part and Michale's husband was antagonizing the women. Yeah, and I could not see Cat on Ladies of London. She'd be overkill because her, Caroline, and Annabelle have the same personalities. Carole could've possibly worked season 4 of NYC but thinking about it, I don't know which group she'd fit with. Season 4 focused so much on the blonds vs. brunettes, but I'd see Carole gravitating towards the blonds that season. I don't see her meshing well with Jill [as she's catastrophic like Aviva] or Kelly [as she's too deluded].
  14. Probably. You're good taste in classic soaps is rubbing off on me.
  15. I think the paralysis story was a horrible choice too but it did bring about some good performances.
  16. So Justine was the one that Suzi shot accidentally when Warren supposedly put real bullets in Suzi's gun? Something like that.
  17. But I loved Jackson. Marc Silcock was HOT! *sighs* Why hasn't he landed anything as of late?!
  18. You're welcome. The poster on YT I am subscribed to posted them last night and I was going to put them up then but I fell asleep.
  19. I miss Miami too. I feel like Miami's problem was that like many franchises now, Bravo wouldn't allow them to build an audience. Bravo was to pull the trigger and demolish the cast too quick. RHOM season 2 was one of my favorite housewives seasons. Along with the reunion. The dynamic between the eight women [Lea/Marysol/Karent/Ana/Adriana/Alexia/Joanna/Lisa] was on point. Especially after their reunion. I know a lot of people loathed Ana on here [i loved her], but she set the foundation for season 3 had Bravo let it organically played out. Instead of the season focusing too much on Adriana v. Joanna's weddings, it could've been Las Cubanas [Marysol/Ana/Alexia/Adriana] V. Team Black [Lea/Joanna/Karent/Lisa], thus giving us RHOA s4 or RHONY s4 & 5 vibes. Two factions going at it at all times with people crossing enemy lines at all times. How would the women react to Lisa/Adriana's friendship? Or Joanna/Ana's friendship? Or Lea/Alexia's friendship? Bravo should've made Lea suck it up with all the evidence Ana had on her and showed it. They should've fought harder to keep Ana [who was over it after the reunion]. They shouldn't've impulsively fired Karent. RHOM season 3 practically wrote itself had Bravo sat back and let the sh*t hit the floor. RHOM would've been a hit and we'd be watching season 4 right now. Same thing with RHODC. Had Bravo not pulled the plug so fast, we'd probably watching s3 right now. They too had the right combo in the end. And season two would've been epic as all the women [minus Lynda] relationships ended. Especially, Michaele running off the rock star. Just epic. And bump Staci's friend, Erica, to full time housewife and season 2 would've been popping and we could be watching their 3rd/4th season by now. I really have Andy/Bravo sometimes.
  20. Was this around the time that Lorie was trying to woo Lucas back to GC for Vanessa [from what I've read]? Also was Lorie on the 'outs' with Lance at this point? And Lucas had feelings for Lorie too? From what I've read on the history of the show, it always came off like Lucas was in love with Leslie. I didn't know that he had feeling for Lorie too. Talk about one incestuous quad filled with mixed feelings oozing from everyone.
  21. Someone I am subscribed to on YT posted this lovely little treasure this morning: ETA: I didn't know Will Patton was on SFT! He's sexy then as he is now! What's the story with Kentucky Bluebird and Liza if anyone remembers? Who are these red-headed girls? The one with Chase and the one slumming on Wendy's couch? What's the story with them? And Queen Sherry.... I've fallen in love with this women. She gives me 80s soap diva--melodramatic but endearing at the same time. She gives me 'old Hollywood.' From her looks, to her acting. I enjoy it. I also didn't know John Aniston was still on the show at this time from what I've read. I thought he was already gone by then and moved onto DAYS. I wonder why NBC didn't try and snag more Search actors after it's demise. They seemed to have a solid cast from what little I've seen.
