  1. Dena Higley's first run on Days. She was head writer (for air shows, at least) from like... April to early September 2003?
  2. I really can't process how senseless and tragic this is. I keep up with GH but I'm not a devoted viewer, and it's still just like... WTF. Maybe the fact that I live in L.A. is part of it, but it's so sad and awful.
  3. LOLLLLLL. Too true. "How nice that the hotels in Scotland have exactly the same builder-grade doors as every home and hotel in Salem!" Rafe's idiocy cracks me up. John and Steve aren't even the ISA -- they're just dudes who have worked with the ISA. At least call Shane or Andrew?!
  4. I still don't get how Everett's coma plays into this whole thing. Has anyone even verified that he WAS in a coma for all that time? And that's sort of a separate issue from the DID, right? Because he was living as Bobby Stein and married to Jada while *also* living as Everett Lynch and dating Stephanie. Then the (alleged) accident and coma happened, and he recovered and came to Salem to find Steph. None of this makes sense, and I doubt it ever will. How was he a well known journalist working in Seattle under two names and no one knew?
  5. How did this devolve into an argument? LOL
  6. So good!!!
  7. 😍 Love your Madonna avatar and banner btw! That tour was so iconic.
  8. I write Footprints! Haha. Thanks for reading!!
  9. Totally missed that! One thing about Y&R that fascinates me is how longtime characters like that can co-exist for years or decades without ever really crossing paths.
  10. That was the part I find most interesting -- dismantling all the "best and brightest" stuff about Kim. Y&R did Ashley/Paul?!
  11. I agree about "Shayla"! There was some interesting stuff to play there. I get why it went over like a wet fart, but the concept is interesting if you come at it head-on.
  12. I thought JS did better as the episode went on, and I kinda like her even though I know she's not the strongest. I don't think she necessarily plays layers, which is both about her being green and the way daytime is shot and written. But this setup did no one any favors. How lame to just... have her admit it to him in their damn studio apartment. I really thought GV was over-the-top at times, too. This thing should've come out at the christening or some big party or SOMETHING.
  13. Accurate. LOL. I like Felicity so far! That's something.
  14. This Everett/Bobby story makes no damn sense.
  15. LOL, true. What exactly is the business model here...?
  16. Well, it's not like you COULD go inside Sweet Bits, anyway...
  17. Thanks, Errol! It's such a weird hitch. It's happening on my MacBook as well, but in both Safari and occasionally Chrome.
  18. I'm having an almost identical issue as @Mona Kane Croft. Some ads jump in and change the entire layout of the page. The font goes from the usual sans-serif to Times New Roman and the page becomes unreadable.
  19. She was dead-dead. And they'll just retcon it away by using Rolf or some nonsense that makes no sense in relation to what we saw onscreen. She was running the Spectator at the time of her death, though. Abby started working at the Spectator during the time jump and (minus times she was offscreen for mental illness and recasting) continued working there until her death. She was running it at that point, I believe. It was a pretty significant plot point.
  20. That would make a lot of sense. They have to be careful about not appearing to fire writers for having gone on strike.
  21. It's just bizarre to me. There's no way she wasn't a bit of a mouthpiece for him -- he was basically ghost-HW-ing the show before he got canned. And now isn't he SUING the show? It seems like such a weird conflict of interest that the intimate partner of someone perpetrating such acts is still "on the inside."
  22. Sonja Alarr had never written a produced TV or film script in her life before her husband handed her that job. It's not like she's a writer with a ton of credits or like she had been working on another show for a long time. She lives with and is connected to the man. She only has a job because of him. She can go.
  23. They also didn't really pause much between the last reunion and picking up the cameras for this season, right? Some of it could just be to take a damn break, which I'm sure the cast is asking for, too. They have some creative stuff to figure out, as well, but I'm not convinced the pause is any kind of catastrophe.
  24. What great news to have him healthy enough to be back at work.
