  1. I was waiting for someone else to say it because I didn't want to be the only one talking about butts, but I noticed how Martin's butt sits last week. It might have been established at some point before, but what medication did Andre give Dani?
  2. A secret Dupree son could be incorporated by saying that Vernon and Anita had a child that was kidnapped but are too traumatized to talk about him. It's very Dynasty but it's the only way to add a child without saying one of the pair had an affair.
  3. Seems like Hayley was trying to feel Bill out about having a baby as opposed to her actually thinking she's pregnant. The conversation was very manipulative. Kat is very elitist and that overshadows her legitimate suspicions about Eva. From the start she talked about Eva's clothes. Naomi is a fool for withdrawing from the case. After she pushed her clients to press forward she is now dropping them.
  4. Jean was one of Viki's alters, the gatekeeper of them all. She kept Dorian locked up and was a very cool, calm persona to the point it was frightening.
  5. That would be something. Jean was so calm that it was terrifying. Calmer is a guarantee, but trying to save the marriage immediately might be a step too calm for a story line like this. Anger can be measured and that is what I'd like to see.
  6. Whenever the party and big reveal I can see the cliffhanger being in sensationalist B&B style dramatic music and audible gasps. What I'm most anxious to see is how Nicole reacts. She's the level headed one so it will be interesting to see how she processes a big bomb being dropped on her. In the behind the scenes special Daphnee deferred her Emmy chances to Karla, but if this storyline goes well I can possibly see Daphnee being a contender next year.
  7. Ted admitting the truth to Andre was surprising. I thought the truth would come out to everyone at the same time. Andre said he wouldn't judge Ted but his expressions clearly said otherwise. Martin being sick while Ted was out giving Leslie the red light special makes Ted look worse than Bill.
  8. "It's his heart". That's crap, Generic Frenchwoman just wants to sleep with that man. And that ending was giving psycho. Brooke being half naked in the office is so very repetitive, but that's what B&B is. And Taylor being dressed like a Jehovah's Witness going door to door played into the same old tired contrast. Sheila being a horrible, bad influence grandmother is quite predictable. I'm only even watching this mess because I was waiting on BTG and saw the end of the episode where Liam fell out. I couldn't resist seeing what would happen after.
  9. Bergman, Davidson and Maitland are amazing at playing siblings.
  10. She definitely feels entitled to the prestige that comes with marrying wealth. She should do what Derek said and look for friends instead of begging to be accepted at the country club.
  11. Dani did ask Anita not to intervene and it's clear Anita probably would not have stepped in had the charity not waited until after Dani finished the fundraiser to drop her. Anita's anger was justified in that instance.
  12. This is accurate. You either have too many antagonists being over the top or too many protagonists that are too pious or too fragile.
  13. With soap operas the villains are going to have some wins here and there because there has to be tension to keep the stories interesting. Plus you can't have too many protagonists winning all the time because that gets boring. Balance is very necessary.
  14. There's no indication that Dani has really done anything other than making a poor choice in marrying Bill and sidelining her own career. Entitlement doesn't really apply because her issue is that she was embarrassed and hurt more so than not getting what she wanted. If she was a supervillain I could see your point but I don't see the character as entitled. If anything she is facing consequences in that she stayed married to a cheater and he eventually left her.
  15. It was wrong for the charity to use Dani do to the work for the fundraiser and then kick her off the board. They could have kicked her off before that and I'm glad that Anita tanked that charity. Hayley's reads are so Hooked On Phonics because she really isn't an injured party because she started the whole mess. And today her and Bill chose to approach Dani when she wasn't even bothering them.
  16. Leslie is getting sloppy and Shanice is not the person she wants watching her. Ashley really should have been Laura's nurse and gotten blamed for Leslie's interference with Laura's recovery. Living her dream of being a nurse is such a big part of her storyline that her being falsely being accused of making errors would be a compelling plot.
  17. "I filled your pen up the way you fill me up, Smitty". That is the nicest thing Martin has to said to Smitty but I did have to laugh because it could be taken more than one way.
  18. The clothes on here make the other soaps look so rundown and shabby. Martin seemed to go extra gay in this episode. When they were back stage he was giving big "oh my god fabulous" energy.
  19. When she said that I was immediately spelling put the abbreviation of ATCCT. Lol.
  20. I would hope that it is inadvertent and just a quirk of the casting rather than an intentional move. And save for the threats Ted isn't much more terrible than Bill so unless Ted actually acts on those threats he is mostly on the same level. But I will say that casting overall leaned rather fair skinned for the Black characters. That goes with the overall trend for casting Black characters across entertainment though.
  21. Leslie and yet another wig. She probably picked this one up with a couple of hundred from that 50k Ted dropped off. Tyrell is going to end up really getting hurt, either by bullies or himself. Anita's line about things with Martin ending terribly was very much 70s soap. That sort of delivery is uncommon these days.
  22. Having watcged quite a bit of EON recently I'm not seeing it either. Raven was far less level headed than Nicole. If anything the character closest to being like Raven is Dani.
  23. There is still a grace period to be had and we are only on episode 28. It's just a guess but Ashley and Derek probably were not part of the vision of the show at the start and were added to make sure that there were more White contract players in the cast. Ashley was in the promo before the show started as "the caregiver" which I thought was odd since it didn't really vibe with the rest of the characters featured in said promo. That part aside there is also the common soap trap of a perfect character that the writers try to force the audience to root for.
  24. Doug has to be linked to the death of Joey's mother somehow. Otherwise Joey wouldn't be so determined to get him in his debt. The stage is set for Bill to have a heart attack and it will probably happen in court for maximum dramatic effect.
  25. Nothing about Joey qualifies as fine or delicious. Setting the looks aside there isn't even any swagger there.
