ALL: Characters you are surprised lasted so long
I think even NLG would agree insofar as Alexis and her stories went. I recall some chat years ago when NLG was asked about what character was her favorite to play. And, even after playing Alexis for a lot longer by that point, she named Julia Wainwright, her Santa Barbara character, as her favorite. And I'll say it, with the exception of Julia's final year on SB (the entire show was crumbling), she did get MUCH better stories and writing there.

GH: Rumors regarding the vaccine mandate
Meanwhile, on the other end of the soap spectrum, Adrienne Frantz of B&B fame posted a photo of her 5-year-old daughter, proud to have gotten the vaccine:

And will be ignored. Until the DOJ acts to enforce these subpoenas, they mean squat.

Katrina Bowden and Darin Brooks Remain Active Cast Members of ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’
Why? Max Brady was nothing but an afterthought there, either. (Dating his nieces, even if adopted, was all he did.)

Actors who looked like members of their soap families (and those that didn't)
As an aside, having not watched GH in...well, forever now...what the HELL did Kelly Monaco do to her face?!

As far as abortion goes, my philosophy is live and let live. By that, I mean, I'm pro-choice for all intents and purposes. However, I don't have kids myself (never wanted them). But had I personally been pregnant? For ME, I likely would keep the baby (I know, I said I don't want kids, but if it happened, I think I'd adapt and love the baby!) But I don't think MY view is the only view, and each circumstance is different. So, for some, abortion should be an option. I just feel one side INSISTING their view is the ONLY view is wrong, and it infuriates me. Don't want an abortion, don't have one. Religion should have no place in government laws.

‘Days of our Lives’ Star Brandon Barash Reveals Recent COVID-19 Experience, Says “Stay Healthy My Friends”
Impossible to prove, but I'd bet any money she's the cause...

I have never seen that Hayley Pullos/Lexi Ainsworth picture before. They do look alike there! Nice photo of them together.

Going WAY back here, but, on Santa Barbara, I always thought that Nancy Lee Grahn's Julia and Louise Sorel's Augusta believably looked like sisters. And I think Carrington Garland's Kelly and Marcy Walker's Eden almost looked eerily alike, which worked, since the characters were also sisters.

And infrastructure has now passed - with some GOP voting for it, and those known as the "squad" voting against. https://www.washingtonpost.com/us-policy/2021/11/05/house-infrastructure-reconciliation-vote/

GH: Rumors regarding the vaccine mandate
Not disagreeing with any of this. But if the show ever decides it does need Jax, I could see a recast happening. But since he really has nothing going on, unless his appearance is vital, best to just let him fade away.

Remember when Days was about love and family and romance? Now...there's the undead summoned by the devil. ZOMBIES, for eff's sake. And people wonder why soaps get a bad rap.

Sadly, I think the fact that this STILL has not passed will hurt McAuliffe in VA. The article highlights voters complaining that nothing is getting done as promised under Biden/Democrats. (Yes, Republicans obstruct, and Manchin/Sinema are glad to join them, but what it comes down to is voters feeling jaded, which may give Youngkin the boost he needs.) That is the cost of going so slow.

Soap Hoppers: The Soap Actors And Roles Thread
No need to add, but Steven Weber was also on the final season of Law & Order: Criminal Intent as Ben Langston, a wealthy pharmaceutical rep/philanthropist who got killed a few minutes into the episode ("Cadaver", S10 in 2011) after being switched with an embalmed corpse (yes - dude was donated to science or something!). I only mention it because I had to admit, the corpse angle was certainly different/memorable! LOL!

B&B Major Character Recast!
Hoo boy! I appreciate KA's humor here, but isn't the B&B set mainly Conservative by nature? Let's hope everyone can keep things professional.

I thought Virginia voters were more intelligent, but I guess not. Apparently, a new Fox poll (I know, but I keep reading their polling has a good record) has Youngkin beating McAuliffe in the VA Governor's race by 8 points, outside the margin of error. Hope it is an outlier, but who knows...

Same Actor, Different Names
An oldie, but on All My Children, during her first run as Cecily Davidson, the actress went by Rosa Langschwadt (approximate spelling!). When she returned to the show, the actress was then going by Rosa Nevin.

He had a role in the 1981 Bill Murray movie, Stripes, under his real name of Conrad Dunn, as well.

So, in a move that should shock absolutely no one with a modicum of class and taste, I saw on Twitter that Donnie Dump Junior is now hocking T-shirts mocking the death of Halyna Hutchins having been shot by Alec Baldwin. There is no bottom to these things. (Can't call them people.) I hope, should Ms. Hutchins' husband get wind of this, that he will sue for emotional distress to himself and his son.
