She played anxious expectant mother very well. Her glasses took up half of her face! I think she looks better with a little meat on her bones.

My problem with all of this is that it's not real. In real life, no woman would put up with her husband waxing poetic about his ex on a daily basis. My father's parents divorced when my father was a little boy. My grandfather remarried. My biological grandmother had lost her mind and lived with my aunt up until last year. Now of course we called both women grandma. Bio-grandma would have lots of moments of lucidity and knows who we are. They all lived in the same town. My grandfather didn't talk about my grandmother all the time. Yes he loved her, but what they had was over and they shared children. Both grandmothers are still alive, grandfather has passed. We go visit both, but we don't talk about bio-grandma to step-grandma all the time. My point is why do they have to talk about Laura all the time. We know she was Luke's great love, but he's married to Tracy. He needs to focus on her and move on. Either focus on her or let her go and not make her feel second ALL of the time.

Great minds think alike! Remember what I was saying about the Tony and Genie special airing this weekend? Maybe they are bringing her back and are playing dumb.

Don't watch today's show! Oh God! Luke just said this to Sonny.

They said that Tracy was out of town. I think Edward said Luke shouldn't stay home just because Tracy was out of town. This is so crazy. We go from Luke saying marrying Tracy was the smartest thing he did; now she's out of town. Huh?

That was funny. If we got what we wanted onscreen, we would not have to stress and write fic to keep ourselves happy.

After Tuesday's episode, I had to finish my story. I couldn't take any more! I started writing it Friday, but couldn't finish it because of my frustration. After part of the scenes aired, I found my incentive to keep going. No Turning Back at Live Journal

4-19 Screencaps Oh how I wish I had some Metro Court scenes to cap. Where do you think they will say Tracy is? Even Ned is coming home for the wedding. Just can't understand those people at ABC.

Not really. It's 22 minutes into the show and no mention on Soapzone. I still can't believe they did that to us. Why, that's all I want to know. They don't explain things. They give us some scenes and then, nothing. In a few weeks later Tracy we show back up, where is she going and more importantly why? Still royally ticked. PS But we must see Amelia and her clipboard everyday for a month.

I have a theory about why they cut Friday's scenes. Did anyone notice that they are showing the Tony and Genie special on Sunday after the GH marathon? Do you think they are bringing Laura back? This show pisses me the h*** off! I am not one of those people who feels the need to preface my comments about Luke and Tracy with a "but he loves Laura, blah, blah". I feel no need to downplay liking L&T. I was there, I watched Luke and Laura. It was okay, but it was not the be all and end all. There time has come and gone. I Tony has grown as an actor since then. He is on a different level. He and Jane are on the same level and their pairing is lights years above L&L. Like Tracy I am sick and tired of TPTB throwing Laura in our faces. I don't dislike Genie, but bringing her back for a sweeps stunt was very disrespectful to Jane. It was a slap in the face in my opnion. I don't like it and I may stop watching this s***. I was never one to just go around cussing, but this show and it's bait and switch antics with Luke and Tracy has really pissed me off. The crap they show day in and day out, instead of L&T is nonsense. They can't think listening to the same dialogue day in and day out is entertaining. I left when they put Alan and Monica offscreen. I may leave again. Total and utter horse puckey is what it is. We need to let our voices be heard and tell them we don't appreciate this nonsense. PS How is Luke giving Sonny relationship advice, when he can't handle his own? And why does he give a flying flip about Skye. He cares about everybody, but his wife. The best thing that EVER happened to him. Rant over for now.

You just read my mind. We were lied to. Or the scenes got cut. More of the same boring Sam, Sonny, carly, Nikolas s*** This show does not know what consistency and pay off means. After yesterday, we get nothing?

My take on today. The tension and pain was palpable from scene one. Tracy was hurting, Luke was an ass. But I tell you, those two were on fire. The last scene was amazing. Jane f***king Elliot is so damn good! My heart was broken at the end of that episode. I can't come up with the right words. Just can't. I think Luke should get down on his knees and beg her forgiveness tomorrow. You know what I have been thinking since Laura came back? Jane is a professional actress, I know that. But it's got to hurt a little to be on the show toiling away and then just for sweeps and a 25 year Anniversary they bring another actress back. They talk about L&L and Tony and Genie 24 hours a day and just push her aside like she doesn't exist. I can't even type I am so upset. They need to drop this Scotty/Luke nonsense now!!! It gave Tracy/Jane some incredile scenes, but enough is enough. I have always liked Jane, but after today, I LOVE HER!!!!! ETA Why are all of these other characters on everday again? Or ever for that matter. They should be required to watch Jane and Tony scenes to see how it's done. I'm not biased or anything.

Favorite Line from 4-16 that I forgot to put in prior post. Luke: We wear wedding rings, not each other's I.D. bracelets Why do they have Luke running all over town ranting and raving about Laura? Why did they bring Scotty on to fight him over Laura? And more importantly, why do they have Tracy helping him with Laura? I was not pleased with that line Luke said about, "married to you or not, I will never abandon Laura". He can be so tender with Tracy and the next minute he is ripping her little heart out. Did anyone notice how Tracy was wringing her hands? (4-16-07) She was so nervous and upset about what Alan said about Luke being with someone else. Tracy is so vulnerable and people just walk all over her. Sucks.

Tracy telling Luke he was the best thing that ever happened to her Luke telling Tracy he would never leave All of the kisses The hair and face touching (Sad) Tracy reaching out to Luke begging him not to go Luke staying Alan finally listening and realizing his sister loved Luke Alan leaving them alone (aww) The brandy spewing Luke coming to Tracy's defense, not once, but twice Oopsie daisy! Hoping Laura would come back and make the Luke/Laura/Scotty story fly. Pfft. Luke has a wife! After Matt and Donna on Another World, I said no more couple obsessions... Then came Matt/Vanessa of Guiding Light, Alan/Monica again, then David/Dorian, Tracy/Luke. You see a pattern here. It's so hard not to get sucked in, then splat! Say we won't get a splat??
