  8. It’s had a lot of buzz, and I’ll start watching this soon. I posted this in the other thread: Lol at the blatant theft by the makers of Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere of the opening from The Good Fight:
  9. I always wanted her at AMC, where her mix of social issues and zany comedy might have worked better.
  10. I loved Claire, but her GL was such a disappointing mess, and her decline was so obvious from her later GH run into OLTL (which had its moments but she should have had a better handle on that, being an urban soap in the RH vein). Comedy was not her strong point, and so much of her GL (May Merisi!) was just grating and awful. She didn’t understand GL at all.
  11. Homeland really did become the new Law & Order in terms of the prevalence of soap stars doing guest roles.
  12. LOL at Venus doing an IG Live workout with one of the runner-up dudes from a recent season of The Bachelorette. She has some of the most surprising guests. She really should have her own TV/streaming series.

  18. I agree. I feel like the show really lost its way (in relative terms) in the mid-‘90s. The decline started IMO in ‘94 (a bit of an echo from the other CBS soaps, who also started freefalling creatively around that time). Speaking of which, I wonder if it’ll be addressed in Melody’s memoir. Just saw the release was pushed to August. Edit: saw @Paul Raven asked the same question.
