Nope....bad story...she played Samantha Ross...I kept wishing she was Melissa.....The Samantha character was so out of place on the show......she was just brought in because of fan outcry. Thats what the produces get for firing her. Funny how Anna said not to write in but that's what the fans of Falcon Crest did. They brought her back as a twin lookalike. KS is so 80's...lol

Cricket was much worse than Lily. I didnt mind all the Lily love by Marland. Duke....sigh....I thought he was hunky....not in your conventinal way....but I floved him. He was a very unique character. I was sad to hear of his passing..Michael Loundon.

Funny how she mentions she didnt know what was going on in her own story. That's what a lot of FC fans said in the latter years of the show. Once Melissa was written out of the show.... it went downhill. I hated the way they killed her off. It would have been great had she been able to return during the finale. Actually the show started getting bad once Cole left too. I hated the Brett Cullen character.

I knew Hank was the gay the first time I saw him. This was before i started reading soap mags with spoilers. I loved how Barbara didnt give a damn that he was gay. It would have been great had Paul been gay and younger Luke made a play for him. It would have been great to have seen Barbara and Lucinda go at it again. I think Charles did make one appearance at the end of Starcher's run. At the time I don't think viewere were ready to see a gay couple on tv. This was the 80's. Look at all the actors from Dallas that were gay in the 80's and not out. Tyler was hot..he has the look of a young Silbermann.....lol.....I dont think he did anything else after his soap gigs. I too would like to find out what happened to him. My favorite Margo was HBS. She did get on some of the females nerves....rumors were she was a prankster on set and CZ didnt like it very much. Scott Bryce has said he still keeps close contact with HBS. I thought they made the perfect sister/brother combo.

Hank appeared in 1988...dont know if he was the first. Maybe one of our historians(posters) here on SON might know. I wish I knew. I was 18 when Hank frist appeared....I think he was the first gay character I had seen on tv.

LOL...call me Isabella.....Lilith was a hoot!! Sara Bosford plays here so well. That's Brian Starcher playing Hank. He looked totally gay. Brian didnt do anything after his ATWT run. It would have been nice had he returned to help Luke out when he came out of the closet. Since he was good friends with Iva, his grandmother. I hated the Duncan castle....lol

I meant ATWT as the first..dont know about daytime.

Hensley was not a fan of reveritng it back. He wanted all memories of Lily lost for good. I floved Holden's return in 96..riding home in a motorcyle and showing the Snyder farm.

I remember fans complaning about all the rewrites in Lisa's past. They also were furious that Lisa would actually leave a child behind. Breen was outstanding as Will...loved that story with Michelle Forbes. Yeah ..Doug Wert had nice pecs didnt he...lol I floved Doug Wert too.....sorry PJ........lol That's why I didnt like Ellen in the role of Margo for the longest time because she had no chemistry with any of her men. I prefered HBS as Margo. There were two version of Scott..I mean written wise.....but I hated Scott being paired with Rosanna. They had zero chemistry. Later he got involved with Carly...again I didnt see any chemistry with them. They could have easily made Scott with Wert in the role gay. I would have bought it!

Mitch..I think u also mentioned the whole fiasco with Scott Eldridge. I think that was one of Marland's worse stories ever. It did bring in a good character in Scott and his fights with brother Tom but the set up for his arrival was so badly written. So much of changing Lisa history and backstory.....I actually hated the story until Joseph Breen came to Oakdale. I forgot how Scott found out Lisa was his mother.

Harriet thats it...ugh...lol...horrible character..such a waste. As for Marland....I think he was ready to freeze Holden and Lily when he had him lose his memory for good. I think he said they would have to fall in love all over again or nothing. So it was either to make Lily and Holden fresh by giving them something new to do or he was ending them as a couple. But that changed when he died and Caso and Co. gave him his memory back. I remember Jon Hensley wasnt happy with that decision. I think Marland wrote the vets very well during his reign but didnt write the "sidekicks" co stars very well except for maybe Lilieth...Douglas Cummings...Tonio....James Stenbeck was already on the canvas and wasnt Marland's creation but I am glad Marland didnt write him off.

Lucinda was always love to me. I think the only reason Earl was created was because he(Granger) was invovled with the EP at the time. Earl brought nothing to the show. I cringed everytime Shannon called him...Uncle Earl....ugh. He was a fugly gay man..sorry....lol..... and speaking of Shannon...couldnt stand her sidekick...gawd what was her name.....she was such an annoying boring character too. The only interesting part about Shannon was when Lilieth appeared....loved her. Duncan and Shannon were so boring together. Michael Swan was such a boring character as well. When Shannon returned in the mid 90's she looked so rejuvanted..fresh....only to be written out. The Star you think was Frank Ruyenon...hmmmm.....Was Steve still there when Marland started?? IF he was....then Marland is the one that sent him to jail for drug trafficing...and then put Betsy with Josh...which I found rather odd and dull....lol.....I did like Betsy freedom from Steve even though I was a big Steve and Betsy fan. And I floved Lyndsay Frost as new Betsy....

Gotta love Lucinda!! I couldn't stand the Earl Mitchell character...so dull and boring. I prefered her with Grant Coleman.

That's a shame because I liked the Heather character better than Jessica that Marland created. Tonya Pinkins is a great actress. I think maybe Marland had Jessica in mind and they didnt need both her and Heather on the canvas since she(Heather) wasnt Marland's creation.

The pre-Marland stuff I thought was fantastic. I enjoyed it a lot. Was Bunim EP at the time of all the backstage mess?? I loved Diana and the Montgomerys....Craig..etc....once Marland came in the show became more of the Waltons with a lot of Dallas sprinkled into it. Which I liked as well.

Still watching Season 2 and was surprised to see Brenda Dickson on Falcon Crest....lol I am not sure if she was on Y&R yet. She had a scene with Abby Dalton as she went looking for her husband. I'm trying to remember the stories once again since I havent seen them in a long time. So Jacquline is Chase and Richard's mother?? So that would make them brothers but in a later season cliffhanger...season 6 I believe Angela finds out Richard is her son. So that would make them cousins. Richard was stolen from Angela but I forgot from who. And Melissa's baby Joseph is Cole's. What ever happened to Joseph?? Did he leave with Cole? I can't recall.
