  1. Ohio to Trump. Fuck.
  2. I'm going to need some positive news soon. This is depressing.
  3. Too much positive news for Trump.
  4. Same here, as an outsider looking in. Please, America, don't make the biggest political mistake ever by electing Trump.
  5. Yeah, that was too much for me. I don't watch the show for gore either and I'm not a fan of torture porn. I hated Denny on Grey's Anatomy and I already hate JDM's character on this show. Denny almost destroyed Grey's for me and I could see Negan doing the same thing. With Glenn being killed off, what was the point of last season's "Is he really dead?" It's just seems so stupid now. The show is just so repetitive with its "Big Villain of the year" and there's just no end in sight. I really hope the 8th season will be its last.
  6. Full season (18 episodes) pickup!! Also in the L+3 ratings, they gained an additional 3.4 million viewers to hit 13.5 million, and a 4.2 in Adults 18-49.
  7. Great first episode! I'm glad I didn't get spoiled on the twist. It looks like I found my Parenthood replacement - emotional family drama. Looking forward to see more of the family dynamics. I also like the little touches of humour. Dan Fogelman, who created Galavant, created this show. He also created the new drama Pitch on FOX but I'm glad he'll be showrunning This Is Us.
  8. To me, this is a situation where the person who screams the loudest gets heard by the most people, especially if it's on social media where things can snowball. Taylor, for some reason, wasn't really upset about the "me and Taylor might have sex" lyric. When we heard them talking about that line, we don't know the context of their conversation, we don't know what was said before and after, so don't know what the initial pitch was. Was the tone of the song changed? Maybe. Even it was, I do think Taylor should've said no (no pun intended) to that line. It's gross either way. That wasn't the line she was most upset about. She was most upset about the line "I made that bitch famous" - which we don't see it being discussed. And that was what her Grammy speech was about. That's also very telling about her psyche, which I've always found interesting. Taylor never denied talking about the song, or talking about the "me and Taylor might have sex" lyric. There's a perception out there that she did that, but it's false. That footage is heavily edited and I do think context matters a lot. Just sharing pieces here and there to prove your point is wrong, IMO, so is taping someone without their knowledge. That's a serious violation. But since small pieces are out there, I would love hear the entire conversation. Will this hurt Taylor is in the long run? I doubt it. It's just a "celebrity feud" that the majority of people don't give a crap about. The people who hate her or love her will continue their ways.
  9. Only the "psychotic fans" (every fan base has them) are mad. Not everything is "shade". Looking forward to the album! Hope it's better than the last one.
  10. What an amazing series! I watched the first two episodes earlier this week and then binged the last 6 episodes last night. And now searching for interviews with the cast/crew and reading any article I can find. LOL The acting from the 5 pre-teens were very good - I think all of them have a bright future if they don't get caught up in bright lights and burn out. All of them had great chemistry and really liked watching their friendship. My favourite character was definitely Dustin - he's funny, smart, and a smart ass (in a good/funny way). I love the 80's aspect of the show, from the snyth background music, to the soundtrack, to the opening credits (I never once skipped over watching these credits, it's so cool). Really hope there's a season 2.
  11. Obama's speech was just awesome! I'm going to miss him.
  12. Loved Michelle Obama's speech, especially the part of the slaves building the White House and then watching her daughters play on the White House lawn. Amazing. I cringed at those people who shouted "You betrayed us" during Elizabeth Warren's speech. Sarah Silverman's quote about those Bern or Bust people was accurate.
  13. I'm looking forward to the first real trailer though. This Comic Con footage was just showing a bunch of jokes - nothing to get too excited about.

  16. @Soapsuds Vee posted it at the bottom of tie previous page.
  17. According to Snopes, it's fake. The aftermath of Melania's speech has been hilarious, especially the Rick Astley part. lol
  18. Not bad! I like it. It's a good start to the new album.
  19. I don't know why you're always picking on Andy Murray. Outside of Nadal/Federer/Djokovic, he's the only one to have three majors. That's pretty good in this era for anyone outside the big three. And he's made to three straight finals. I mean, the give the man is due.
  20. Tough match for Milos as Andy Murray is playing at such a high level right now by making it to three straight Grand Slam finals and winning one of them. Milos didn't have his big serve and Andy return game was great. It was frustrating to see Milos continue to hit the ball to Andy's backhand where Andy was winning so many points. Hopefully Milos gains experience from this and won't be as nervous if he makes it to another Grand Slam final. It was still a big step up for Milos making it to his first Grand Slam final. It's now 14 straight years that the Wimbledon winner has been Federer/Nadal/Djokovic/Murray. That's unbelievable.
  21. Maybe John thinks there's no hope with the American players? LOL Or maybe they're not offering enough money. Don't know much about Vasek but I doubt he's better than Milos. Milos is getting better and better. Sure it may not last long so that's why he has to strike now and win on Sunday.
  22. This era may have sucked for the American men but this era of Federer/Nadal/Djokovic has been the best ever. They have dominated the sport like no other group. They have a combined 43 Grand Slam titles. I think it's going to be a long time before we see an era like this again.
  23. Aw, poor sad American. LOL There is no "big four," just a "three". Andy needs to win some more majors to be considered in that category. Why do do you care so much about ratings? It's not like they're to cancel the sport due to low ratings. lol
  24. Yes! Milos! First Grand Slam final and makes history as the first Canadian man to do so. Just bring it home now. Sad to see Federer fall (literally) but it's still great to see him, at this age, make it this far.
  25. Tiger Wood's doesn't have a "personality" either and he wasn't "likeable" either! LOL But he was damn good and that's why ratings were up whenever he was leading in the 4th round. You need great players to bring in great ratings, it's that simple. If it was Federer/Djoker/Nadal vs each other in the finals, or Williams vs Sharapova, it would get ratings.
