  1. It's such a detriment to her character and to her as an actress. She has to do the heavy lifting in all of her pairings. And they put Liz through the wringer because her popularity can withstand most anything but in that process they've lost the core of who she is. That's no way to treat a 25 year old vet. It reminds me a lot of what Y&R has done to Sharon, maybe less destructive but wrong nonetheless.
  2. Rebecca Herbst still looks so vibrant and youthful, her beauty and talent is wasted on the deflated balloons masquerading as Roger Howarth and Michael Easton.
  3. It's pretty cool that Melissa Ordway is almost a decade older than him. That hardly ever happens in Hollywood. I guess it helps that he looks older than his age.
  4. Did Hogan Sheffer create that whole spa kidnapping story on ATWT because 3 of the show's leading ladies were pregnant at the same time? Or was it just two of them? I can't remember.
  5. That's right, intention doesn't matter.
  6. While she looked nothing like Jeanne Cooper, I always thought Ashley Bashioum (Mac, Y&R) bore a strong resemblance to Beau Kazer (Brock).
  7. You can absentmindedly like a post or like a post and not even read it. It's a post from one of the show's "stars", maybe whoever runs the GH account just liked it on autopilot. I agree with @Errol that people make too much out of sh!t like this.
  8. Jax has been coasting on a triangle that ended so long ago it's now of legal drinking age.
  9. Finally some confirmation. BTW I sometimes watch Maurice's little youtube therapy show (not for him, some of the actors interest me, he's actually terrible at conversing with people. He's totally disinterested in what they have to say, can't articulate his thoughts and has no clue how to conduct an interview) and he is completely over acting. He had an episode with the actress who plays Kristina and he basically said he has no passion for it. No shịt, we can tell.
  10. Okay cool. Eden McCoy can take over for MTS whenever she retires.
  11. I think you care a little. You very dramatically left but came crawling back. I guess the Chandler Massey poster in your bathroom finally stopped talking back.
  12. Maura West was 20 years too young for the role of Diane.
  13. I never cared for Elizabeth Keifer as Blake largely because she looked more than Maureen Garrett's mother than the other way around. It just felt so weird to see her call this woman mom. She also played the character so matronly and neurotic, which didn't make sense since her parents were both so...cool. How'd they make this lame duck?
  14. Jack is taken aback when Phyllis opens up herself (and her legs) to him! The fück?
  15. Good. Honestly Hunter was hard to look at the last time I watched.
  16. Tamara Tunie, who is entirely too booked and busy for those little ATWT Zoom reunions, is in the Netflix adaption of Cowboy Bebop. Edit: Vee beat me to it by a minute. Whatever, ho.
  17. Agreed. It just sounds better. Jackée Harry (born Jacqueline Yvonne Harry) briefly went by simply Jackée in the 80s at the height of her stardom.
  18. It's so bizarre to me how much ink they've given to a character the show has never seemed to value much. I'm pretty sure they've mentioned Chance more in his absence than in any of his stints on the show.
  19. You neglected to mention that he's shirtless for much of the episode where he has actual dialogue. Throw the horndogs here a scrap.
  20. The show at the time had a very Passions tone. The weird dialogue from Blair that you mentioned @FrenchBug82 was part of that. Every line has to hint to the plot or a secret, even if the person saying it has no idea what that secret is. Other than Live week the show never cared how Blair felt about the baby switch, it was all about Todd's antics and RH hamming it up. I also think they kept it light because what Todd did was monstrous and if they played it straight he'd be done for and you know the rapist was the most important character the last 15 years of the show.
  21. Looks like a showroom at an Italian furniture store. Re: the ratings somehow being stable. I remember @Dee telling me a good 15 years ago that Y&R would be the last soap standing and she was right, this show has some weird hold on people. Because it's pretty clear that everyone making it does not care. They're all so bored and just cashing a paycheck. More so than any of the other soaps. Like others have said, even when the show has been bad in the past at least it was actively bad. Now it's passively bad. They're just floating through space doing jackshit.
