  1. Kim was on All My Children for a few episodes when Anna came back from the dead. She also did GH: Night Shift and (probably) Port Charles. Would those count?
  2. Vanessa Marcil was the first person to come to mind to me for some reason.
  3. Poor Kim, having her first scene with the worst actress on the show.
  4. The Max Ehrich saga continues. Watch if only for his performance.
  5. We don't even have official confirmation that she's Demi Moore + 40 years later.
  6. If you want the real details on that lunatic (I do believe he's actually unhinged), check out this thread:
  7. I'll never forget first finding soap message boards and having everyone refer to Erica as the world' oldest shortest supermodel lol god love her. There wasn't anything SL didn't fully commit to.
  8. MBJ posted about Chadwick Boseman's death, specifically mentions his time on AMC.
  9. Can't be embedded but witness two of the greatest slaps in soap history. Jill looks pissed that Nikki dared to touch her.
  10. I've had a running soap in my head for the last 20 years. It's about the trials and tribulations of the Douglas family, an upper middle-class black family in the deep south. It touches on class, colorism, abandonment, and a bunch of other stuff. And it's all in my noggin, haven't written a word down. I just add to the story when I'm bored or stressed, I'm mentally telling stories about the grandchildren of the original family members now.
  11. You're right! Thank you! It's definitely Tiffany and not Adrienne.
  12. In the 1/26/2000 episode in the vault where Rick finds out Little Eric isn't his there's a montage of Rick and Kimberly set to a song. Is that Adrienne Franz singing? It sounds like her and would be hilarious if it is.
  13. How the hell was Y&R writing great stuff like this 40 years ago?? But now it's like no one can have sex unless they're married or tortured? It's so weird how assbackwards things have become.
  14. Wasn't Jenny all of 18 when she died? Why are they talking about babies?! And yes, Adam is super creepy in that scene. The 80s synth is top notch though.
  15. That's one thing I've liked about these classics. Danny and Chris got to be just a couple. Yeah that involved them recapping the plot a lot but at least like you said it wasn't all about their romantic troubles.
  16. The original music is so thunderous and bombastic and most importantly, fitting. The new arrangement feels like an afterthought.
  17. Brad had Colleen with Tracey and then he and Ashley lost their son, Robert.
  18. This promo makes me sad but I like the shot of MTS sitting in front of two Emmys as if they're hers.
  19. I think he lasted at most a week? He was very quickly recast. I've always thought it was because he looked too old to be MS's child.
  20. My biggest takeaway from this is that Amelia Heinle looks like refried death.
  21. It caught on with young people because...frankly it looked like a Saturday morning sitcom but with worse writing. I was 15 when Passions premiered, I thought the theme song was fantastic and Jesse Metcalfe quite possibly changed the trajectory of my life but it was brightly lit garbage. It was just so mind-numbingly repetitive. The same conversations day after day, month after month. Characters constantly talking out loud to themselves recapping the plot. The show treated the audience like idiots. It was actually insulting after a while. That's So Raven should not have had more nuance than a daytime drama.
  22. Naw, I watched it from the beginning too and it was always bad to me. Repetitive dumb dialogue, sitcom lighting, bad acting, terrible plots. It's the first soap I ever saw premiere and I was so disappointed. I spent a lot of hours in the summer of 99 trying to get into this show.
  23. I can't believe the people who are attempting to cater to every era of fan also produce the dreck we see everyday!
