  1. I'd be surprised if this hadn't been posted before but someone compiled the entire Michael Delaney story into a 7 hour video. I'm only 30 minutes in but I'm impressed by the frankness and language used. The show didn't seem concerned about making Bobby or Trevor sympathetic, they're both unabashedly homophobic to show an unsupportive point of view. This is the sort of domestic drama soaps have refused to do over the last 20 years. I find it interesting that both Michael and Bianca came out around Christmas time. Did the show do this intentionally knowing more eyeballs would be on daytime this time of year? I don't know.
  2. Susan’s latest Instagram post, notice she says “Kane and Santos girls” https://www.instagram.com/p/CJLw8e4Mbgc/?igshid=1edt485zclfxf
  3. After decades of searching Victoria Rowell found her biological father
  4. How is this post not 5 pages already? In the All My Children followup, written/executive produced by Leo Richardson (Katy Keene, Star), a young journalist with a secret agenda comes to expose the dark and murderous history of a town named Pine Valley only to become entangled in a feud between the Kane and Santos families. The seres explores all the secrets that come with the Kane and Santos family names. Weird but not weird that the Santos family is one of the families they're focusing on. No one cares about the Santos family outside of Maria (you can't convince anyone gives two shits about Mateo outside of Kelly and Mark's fame).
  5. They probably will but recasting would be a huge mistake. Bring on new people sure but NO recasts. Any eyeballs on this wants to see the familiar faces. You must have Susan Lucci, without her it's not even AMC. Even if she's in there in a very limited capacity. Hell I'd make Miranda the reporter looking into the feud. First of all: I'm internally screaming. I wonder if ABC commissioned EW for that reunion week. It just seems...a little calculated that all these other shows were getting zoom reunion moderated by former publicists and AMC gets one with a major entertainment outlet. I hope this has a season long mystery vibe. That would be neat. But I also hope they don't get too far from Agnes' original vision of tackling social issues.
  6. No idea if this was ever posted but Josh Morrow said on Michelle Stafford's instagram live that her auditioned for the role of Dylan on B&B before landing Y&R.
  7. You can't mistake that voice.
  8. I thought he was dead. He looks good!
  9. I never understood why (though I know why) they took the child of Palmer Cortlandt and Opal and made him some random himbo. Think of the fascinating character young Petey could have become.
  10. Such a great interview. This Alan guy though starts interjecting at the worst times though. I wanted to hear more about how they felt as black actresses on daytime, they all seemed up for talking in-depth about it. I wasn't watching when Denise or Camille were on but I loved Napiera as Bonnie. She mentioned one positive of P&G, despite the hate she got from some people for being the dark-skinned daughter of a white man and a light skin woman they just ignored it and kept it pushing.
  11. Reign Edwards, Charlie Gillespie Starring in Wayfarer Studios Drama 'Love You Anyway' (Exclusive) I love her come up. B&B seemed to go out of it's way to waste her. Actually daytime doesn't seem interested in investing in any of their young actors. They give them all such bad, repetitive, boring material to play.
  12. It's wild to think daytime has only gotten more racist while other forms of media are tripping over themselves to catch up.
  13. Aww I wish they could get Kim and Debbi too.
  14. No worries, I figured that's who you meant. And recreated flashbacks are lame I agree. Especially when we know how the actor looked during that time period. It takes you out of the story.
  15. Do you mean Brenda Dickson? I think showing the old actor can lead to the same confusion, a lot of "who is that?" amongst the audience. I'd avoid as best I could and try to make the story as compelling without the need for flashbacks. I'd rather write a soliloquy with an actor recapping what happened than to show a flashback with a different actor.
  16. Kim was on All My Children for a few episodes when Anna came back from the dead. She also did GH: Night Shift and (probably) Port Charles. Would those count?
  17. Vanessa Marcil was the first person to come to mind to me for some reason.
  18. Poor Kim, having her first scene with the worst actress on the show.
  19. The Max Ehrich saga continues. Watch if only for his performance.
  20. We don't even have official confirmation that she's Demi Moore + 40 years later.
  21. If you want the real details on that lunatic (I do believe he's actually unhinged), check out this thread:
  22. I'll never forget first finding soap message boards and having everyone refer to Erica as the world' oldest shortest supermodel lol god love her. There wasn't anything SL didn't fully commit to.
  23. MBJ posted about Chadwick Boseman's death, specifically mentions his time on AMC.
  24. Can't be embedded but witness two of the greatest slaps in soap history. Jill looks pissed that Nikki dared to touch her.
