  1. My takeaway from that interview are 1) how messed up that a contract role on a daytime soap in the early 2000s still wasn't enough to cover her bills, what the hell does daytime pay new performers now? 2) Eva's surprise that they found the clip was weird, it's not like it was from the 70s, it was 20 years ago 3) fun fact from my days of being a Desperate Housewives' superfan: Eva's degree is in kinesiology. Eric Braeden needs a handler.
  2. Oof. AD hasn't done anything, I think they were just trying to be funny. They fired her due to ageism (which is funny considering most of the leads on this show now are 40+). Or perceived ageism, anyway, SW isn't much younger than AD, just looks it. I think Engen didn't enjoy Adam's dark turn and having Adam have gheysex was basically his "You know what? I don't need to do this" so he left. Homophobia? Probably. He was able to push through causing a woman's miscarriage and stealing a baby but having sex with a man for nefarious reasons was a bridge too far.
  3. Roberta Leighton's surgery almost looks reconstructive, was she involved in some sort of accident? If her operations were by choice I'm pretty shocked.
  4. I wonder if Mamie will interact with her great nephews or great niece...or will Mamie just be mammying the elderly white children she used to take care of?
  5. He's being called petty and bitter and now whiny, when all he did was say he didn't go due to how he was treated. He didn't even go out of his way to cry about it, he was asked a direct question and answered.
  6. Ah, cool, thank you!
  7. Question, was Lucky's birth announced before Luke and Laura returned in 93? I mean, did Ruby, Bobbie, etc. talk about Laura being pregnant and having a kid while they were off the show?
  8. No one HAS to attend a party thrown by their former employers who they feel mistreated them. Y'all are weird.
  9. Loren Lott, so much wasted potential. She’s a star. Victoria Rowell standing out amongst a crowd, per usual. I wonder how icy her former co-stars were to her. Dru’s return is the only thing that could possibly draw viewers back to this show, I’m telling you!
  10. I wonder who made the decision that this group represents the show. Very weird. I'm sure Jordan and Curtis are there as representation but Portia and Trina are far more popular than her. Unfortunately, no. He's slowly evolving into Woody from Toy Story. I can't even comment on Cam forgiving Joss it makes me so mad. Why can't ANYONE stay upset with Carly or her daughter? Only "bad" people get to call them on their BS.
  11. First time seeing this image anywhere yet. Becky in the middle 🥰 I only wish the show treated her like a 25 year vet (or maybe they are) Tanisha Harper and CamMat's inclusion in this is weird and unwelcome.
  12. I swear that picture of Victor and Nikki must be 20 years old by now.
  13. Can we start an anti-chemistry thread? Because that’s what he had with everyone.
  14. I was so annoyed that it took half an episode to come to that obvious conclusion. I don't understand this Cody story and I don't even want it explained to me. Enough with the paternity/maternity shît. It looks like we're headed for another viral outbreak? Unless I missed something. Victor has a pathogen. Both Donna and Olivia are ill. I'd give anything for them to cull half the cast.
  15. It's so stupid lol I gotta know: have they been mentioning the bicentennial in the lead up to it? Nikki would not give two shîts about Genoa City's bicentennial. Veronica Reed does indeed look great. And I'm really not trying to be a dîck but every single person in that preview was over 60. Is this show just utterly uninterested in generational storytelling?
  16. He just listed people he finds attractive. Best to ignore it. Imagine her going toe to toe with Beverley McKinsey.
  17. LOL I have even watched it yet but Lily go to hell. I'm surprised they didn't have her try and pull this again at 40. God she sucked.
  18. GH: I think Laura Wright has chemistry with everyone. And that just comes down to her committing to what's on the page, it has little to do with anything Carly is. Genie Francis has chemistry with everyone except John Lindstrom. Maura West has chemistry with this forum. My fingers. The air. She just sells absolutely everything and everyone they throw at her. Hell, she's making me almost like an actor (Roger Howarth) I have never liked in my 25 years knowing of his existence.
  19. Brooke and Deacon led to the next two decades of Brooke involved in increasingly stupid sex scandals. Hurting her close family members because why not and being forgiven in a month as they rolled onto the next stupid story. For whatever reason she stopped being a character and just became a blow up doll for Brad Bell's sick quasi-incestuous fantasies. It's a slippery slope before they have her start an affair with a blood relative because why not.
  20. I think Phyllis is drunk and she's working overtime to elevate the most semi-decent dialogue she's had in years probably.
  21. I think Joss and Dex have a lot of physical chemistry (clearly the actors are very…comfortable) but like you said, the story ain’t it. The dialogue is weird too, they spit plot points at each other I don’t know why they like each other beyond the physical. And if that’s all there is then say it. Lol I love Sonny’s current status as Nina’s Boyfriend. I swear in some scenes the only thing that’s missing is him holding her purse while she does more interesting things, like talk to people with actual stories. And yes, Sasha’s grief is realistic but it’s such a chore to watch a non-central, inessential character float from scene to scene talking about how profound her grief is. If there was some sort of action involved, by that I mean seeing the ramifications of her grief on herself or others I might find it interesting but as is it’s just a time filler. I actually liked Gladys saying that seeing Brando’s name over and over was difficult for her, that’s very real. I hate that it’ll be later thrown in her face when Sasha learns the truth.
  22. SloMo and Dex’s budding romance is not nearly as captivating as they seem to think so. I think Sonny is a useless husk of a character but he has zero reason to like this kid, he’s not interesting or charming. No charisma and he acts like a scared little boy, Sonny would not find that appealing in an enforcer. Speaking of romances, Sasha and uhhh Josh Kelly talking about how depressed they are is fast forward TV. I don’t care and I don’t buy that the characters find any of this interesting. And two full episodes about the selling of a garage is torturous.
  23. That dirty sink water music really enhances the scene.
  24. Sometimes actors choose material that was fun for them, the importance or "classic-ness" of it doesn't matter much vs. how much they enjoyed making it. It's annoying but they probably had a good time so it's a fond memory for her. Edit: @BoldRestless said the same thing, my bad.
