Okay now I'm watching the first 15 minutes that I missed before. Anita speaks with Sharon and Tracy -- Anita says that the promoter suggested her solo would be jazz and not part of the Articulettes' song list; and that some of the audience might want to see Anita sing jazz. Tracy suggests that Anita book a separate solo concert to sing jazz. Anita rationalizes this as her family needs to hear it all tonight, including jazz numbers they haven't heard before.

What's great about BTG is that for most scenes and characters, there are wide variety of opinions and lots of discussion. I appreciate that so much.

I dislike the characters insisting that everyone show up for the concert, because they owe Anita. I thought Dani was way over the top telling Martin and Nicole to get over it.

The dialogue for day's Nicole/Smitty scene is outstanding! Especially the part about how it's hard to confide your fears to a loved one but it's doable, but it's extremely difficult to confide something you feel shame about.

EDIT: Jessica, not Jasmine I posted yesterday that Anita should suggest that Anita should have told Sharon and Tracy: The promoter asked me to do a solo -- but I won't do it unless each of you is featured in a solo of your own that you choose. Well today Anita didn't do that. Instead she pleaded with Tracy and Sharon for the opportunity to do the solo. Tracy countered with the suggestion that each of them do a solo.

I've seen some places elsewhere online where it's being discussed as a scoop instead of as an error, making assumptions that A&P replaced F&C on Days. But it's actually just wording from the article author and not a quote from Rikaart. Perhaps the article author googled "women writing team who replaced Carlivati" and got as a result the women who replaced him on GH?

I can believe that Anita could have be an EGOT in a similar way that John Legend is an EGOT winner. John Legend is an EGOT winner: Emmys for producing. Grammys for his music.
