Coverage of the solar eclipse Monday April 8 might affect the soaps. At this time, it looks like GH will be fully preempted Monday April 8 for the eclipse. Y&R and B&B are still showing as airing Monday April 8th in some TV listings. Some listings for specific cities show one or both soaps at a slightly adjusted time, shifted to before or after the eclipse. In some areas, coverage of the eclipse might preempt one or both CBS soaps, especially in Central and Mountain timezones? In which case, watch online. Hopefully CBS or the individual soaps will clarify soon! Be prepared to set your recording devices to record manually for week of April 8th. Friday, April 5 and Monday April 8: Sean Whalen reappears on B&B as "Carl Ferret". https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/comings-and-goings-the-latest-cast-changes-1738256/ He last appeared in 2007-2011 per IMDB, although one site said he appeared in 2016. I hadn't heard of him before, but I gather this character was a hospital janitor, who later worked in the hospital lab? I just skimmed a couple of old recaps. Seems he was involved in paternity test switches and egg fertilization mix-ups and other such messes? I just find it interesting that a sketchy hospital employee happens to be returning on the day Deacon accompanies Sheila's body to the crematorium. I wonder if he still works at the hospital, or maybe at the hospital morgue, or maybe at the crematorium?
