Hey, we finally got some follow up on Xander’s phone call 😂😂 I wonder what this is all about and I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I hope they find a way to tie it to Sarah and the secret with Alex and Theresa somehow. This is how you write something that suddenly comes out of nowhere. You don’t just change a character. Like with Chad today. His anti-Dimera attitude came out of nowhere, though his explanation to Johnny did make a little sense. I think it’s a good idea and I really enjoyed their scenes today, but maybe it would have more sense if Chad had tied it to Stefan and the drug stuff, instead of just Abigail’s death. I wouldn’t mind Johnny/Chanel being weaved into the drug storyline. I’m also liking the dynamic between Brady and Alex over Theresa. They seemed to be hitting a lot of beats with this triangle and what each character brings into it and I’m liking that. Plus, it’s a lot better than a Brady/Kristen reunion. The toast to Roman seemed really random though but I liked it lol

Ugghhh Why does Leo still exist? And, why did Kayla talk about Johnny like he’s not her nephew lol Btw I see Johnny got a haircut. Don’t have much to say about today but I still like how everything is being set up. Even Ava and Stefan, though I don’t know why. Maybe they each needed a person to talk to about the way they were feeling, or about how lonely each of them were. I do have to admit that I thought the obsession with Stephanie’s love life today was a little creepy and heavy handed though. Do people actually do that in real life? 😂😂😂

Yeah, John really needs a comb 😂😂 I’m still not enjoying the storyline but I liked the conversation John and Steve had today about bad memories. In some ways, it seemed more sophisticated than what we’re used to. I say the same thing about Stephanie/Everett’s scenes. It was nice to see Stephanie finally open up. We got more of an understanding of why she took the actions that she did in this storyline. And she did seem a little smarter than usual about the whole situation too. I didn’t expect Everett to come clean about Jada right away but I’m looking forward to when that finally happens. I think this part of the storyline has been constructed and plotted out really well. Harris breaking Lucas out of prison seemed really random though. The way it was written, it was almost like there was an episode missing. We should have seen Harris breaking him out and Kate and Roman finding out that Lucas was missing. I hope we continue to see Lucas once this storyline ends. Him, out of prison and trying to rebuild his life would be a good storyline.

Gotta admit, I kinda liked the twist today with Finn and the malpractice suit. I have mixed feelings about Nina and Valentin possibly teaming up though. It could be good if someone doesn’t interfere again lol And yeah, Spencer looked hot.

Again, I hope people BTS are taking notice of all the positive feedback. I heard that rumor somewhere, that the Everett storyline was changed by the scabs. I wonder what the original plan was I was thinking about that too. I wonder who it could be. It could be pretty interesting, especially if somehow plays into the whole secret about Alex.

Good episode today. Even though there are some scenes that get a little boring sometimes, I still like the way things are being built up until they reach that big climax. It doesn’t feel as rushed anymore. And I’m really liking that everything is being taken seriously and not being written like some big stupid joke. I’m glad we know that Everett probably is full of crap and I wonder what he’s gonna say on Monday. I was starting to worry that it was gonna turn out that he had DID or something. I’m looking forward to the day that Jada finally sees him. The big Valentine’s Day scavenger hunt, maybe? I just hope that the Stephanie/Jada friendship isn’t affected by this. That’s been really nice for both characters. Btw, maybe I missed the explanation in an earlier episode, but wtf is geocaching? 😂😂 I liked the Theresa/Kayla scenes. They seem to work really well together and Theresa does need someone to talk to about the mess she’s in and how she’s feeling right now. Alex/Marlena was good too. I’m interested in the cliffhanger with Xander too. I didn’t see it coming lol it could be something pretty good.
