embarrassed to admit that I only skimmed again, just got home from housesitting. I got outta work and went there to drop off the door opener, hung out for a bit, had dinner, play with their son and dogs and set up her Ipod that her kids got her for her birthday tomorrow. Obviously had a busy week so I haven't been able to check out the thread lately, but I did catch the stories posted. Haven't read them yet, am doing that now though. As bad as it seems I'm glad they weren't on the last 2 days b/c I was back in the times of pre soapnet and I didn't like it. I couldn't set my timer to tape it b/c I wasn't home and I couldn't watch it at night. I was going to have a nutty if they were on and I didn't get them. Hooked!!!!!!! what did you meet the agent for? Email me, what's up? I hope you didn't already and I deleted it by accident b/c I don't have one. I'm SOOO curious now! Day of tomorrow, so I'm having breakfast with the gram and aunt, getting my hair cut at noon, maybe stopping by work to wish Friend a happy birthday and then back here for (with any luck AMC too) GH

Hey guys, glad to see everything is going well for everyone... or seems ti at least, I just kinda skimmed b/c I don't have much time. I'm house sitting till Tuesday for the woman I just painted the room for. I'm home for my mom's B-day. Just got back from shoe shopping (fabulous day for Kristin!!!) I bought an awesome gunmetal metalic clutch, a brownish maroonish clutch/wallet, a pair of olive green shoes, tortoise shell shoes and an fantastic pair of red stilletos at Wine West. I cleaned up, guys! it was so worth shopping today, got to love outlets... especial the ones with great sales. Anyway, going out to dinner with Mom and the sisters in a bit, dad was on call and had to go to work so it's just the girls, then back to the freind's house. She has the best bed ever. Her sheets smell like they do at my memere's house so I love it and I had the best night's sleep ever. The dogs barked every time something went by the window, didn't stop until 1:30 in the morning, I won't up by 8:30 and I still had a great sleep, I don't know what kind of voodoo she did to her bed but I love it. I don't know what anyone else is going to think of today's show... but I thought it was hysterical!!! Oh yeah, and I guess this is how him takes him down by the legs, right? She nearly shattered his kneecap... a girl after my own heart! Well, not really, but family definately so I feel the same way anyway. Loved it, the bourbon laced chocolates, the massive choc. box he tried to say was to buy back Tracy's love, the short little hooch who came in (as it turns out was legit and wasn't really "helping" Luke out with things like Tracy thought) that Tracy had to drag out of the room. Loved that she was this close to taking him back, though she did do the whole "it depends" schpiel... good girl... and instead beat the crap out of the guy. Just thought it was a regular laugh riot today. Ok, talk to you all later

ok, so I know we got nothing good on GH, but does anyone watch AMC?!?!?! OH MAN, do they love their vets, or at least really know how to bring them back to the show. I don't generally like much else about the show and I really dislike a lot of the characters, but I LOVE Angie and Jesse. Let me just say that if GH could bring back their vets in a way that is 1/2 as good as their story we'de have had a helluva few good years... Robert (who I still think should be who Tracy uses to make Luke crazy, not a bad guy, pretty good looking, has the accent going for him and is a FRIEND of Luke's) and Anna, Scotty, Noah, I'd say Robin b/c technically she counts but they did give her a story... am I leaving anyone out. Oh yeah, and only about 4 days into their reunion and they gave them the only love scene, a pretty hot and steamy and romantic at that. Damned GH writers. I think the good ones all must have jumped ship years ago and go over to other shows... or gone into hiding when they saw the show was going to pot

It is a littl bit blurry, but there is something about it that I love. I think if you can fix the blur it'll be great!

ok, I watched it again but I didn't hear anything about getting away "easily". She said "let's just see if St Valentine has healed me so I can get away from you after all", I was looking for the easily. Not a big thing obviously, but since you made a note of the symbolism I thought I'd say it. And while I love how concerned Luke got when she was hurt I think it was a bit of an overblown reaction for a rolled ankle... but I still loved it anyway OT: I finished my friend's wall yesterday! Finally!!! Actually it didn't take very long, but having to sit in the room all day a few times with all the paint fumes was getting a bit much. Now she wanted me to do her daughter's. I'm glad she loved it. She wanted stripes on his wall so it is a Tommy Hilfiger type stripe with a navy, thin red, and big fat dark tan stripe on it. She said she expected to like it but she loves it more than she expected. Thank goodness b/c it could have been a very busy print to look at if she didn't like it. Good thing it was only one wall though. Now our friend at work want's me to do her daughter's too. I'm hopefully going to be getting plenty of money out of doing these! And these aren't even actual murals, they are just designs on the wall that take no time. Imagine if I actaully had to do the murals! edit: love all the avatars, by the way, guys! I'd site specifically but everyone seems to be changing their's so I'm just gonna say I love 'em all.

I was feeling spiteluf after all cuz our boys just killed the other team... absolutely murdered them, it was close for a long time but they came back and wiped the floor with 'em... so I went back to the poll. ok, right now I have the poll at 92-7%. I know that's not right, but that's what it says. At least it's in our favor! Since it's at about 770 votes right now it takes way more to move it up a percent, but it's still going.

HAHAHA!!! I got those big dumb naysayers at the poll down in the single digits. 91% baby!! I think we should be nice and not the spiteful things I feel like we can and should be about it and give them a few percentage points but that's as nice as I want to be... kepp them inder 10 guys!!! I just voted about 80 times I think. I know, a little sad, but I got 'em from 85-91% so keep going!!!

Nope, never heard anything for the novel but oh well. I have some things I want to fix in it anyway... I know, I know, I keep changing it. Ill send it out after that. As far as the art I just need to get some things done and I'm good to go, but I have till the sumemr to finish it so I have plenty of time to do them. BSG- I never thought of the Hamptons but that one is a good idea. It's like Greenwich in CT so I'd have that kind of crowd in 2 states!! Oh yeah, and the insurance is a HUGE thing, but especially when I am diabetic, particularlly sucks then... well,f or me anyway. Thanks for all the congrats guys. I thought it was a pretty safe bet that I was getting it and I told you all how the interview went but I heard back from her by 12:30 today, 2 1/2 hours after my meeting and they offered me the job. I have to call her back tomorrow b/c I was at work and couldn't take the call, but I'm all over it. The poeple all seem great so far, actually they're all giggly and goofy without being annoyingly perky so it works for me. I have to work anywhere from 1-4 Saturdays a month but I am out by 12 and it's time and a half, so another plus. As much as Idon't really want to be doing thing for long and don't plan on it it does just seem better and better for the mean time. Thanks ILTQ, I knew someone had to like that idea. You really want to make Luke suffer he needs to watch Tracy moving on with her life and doing so with other men. Right now he's cool with it b/c as long as she is still worried about convincing him she doesn't believe it herself, once that is over he is gonna have to work triple time and in some very creative, yet heartfelt, generous, and Tracy-lovin' ways to get her back. As much as she won't be able to avoid him if he lives there he can't avoid her either and will HAVE to see everything going on. Muahahahah!!!!! Tear his frozen little heart out. I'll give him credit where it is due, it does seem to be thowing out a bit, not much, not nearly melting yet, but I've seen a drip of water or to as the ice is starting to warm. Ok, off to go vote at that poll a few dozen times, set my alarm for the Angie Jesse reunion tonight (I hate that soap, I hate most people on it and haven't watched probably since the last time they were on but they are TOTALLY the luke and Tracy of AMC) Love 'em, so cute!! Then on to my sister's dance team at the basketball game. Tomorrow I have to finish my friend's wall and call my bank lady... then on to more painting. The only problem with my selling these is that I actually have to start working on them and get 'em done. Oh, man, I was at my friend's house the other day to paint her son's wall... I am so inlove with this kid. I made me come sit with him to wathc Backyardigans Super Spy. He was laying down with me but any time I tried to get up he cried. I tried to leave the room with him even and he told me "no, sit" which probably could be snotty but so wan't! Love him to death. I told her he is my rent-a-brother. I'm just gonna take him every once in a while and keep him for a bit.

Happy day-late V-day everyone!!! I loved yesterday's episode!!!!! In response to ILTQ, I agree that he should have to work at Kelly's a bit longer. I'd love to see that. Then again, I think if he moves back in while he is still hating him we can get, either, a War of the Roses type of interaction or we can have her still hating him but him trying to win her back and he is unavoidable if he lives there, she'll have to deal with him and he'll wear her down (hopefully that would mean lots of scenes... which makes me sure it wouldn't happen, but oh well). It could be great to have him trying to win her back when she has no way of getting away from him. Plus she could take that as an opportunity to drive him as crazy as he did her, he can see her leaving to go out with other men or living her life without him and getting past the trying to convince him and herself phase. Just a though- wanted to find something positive and good about them bringing him back to the Manse! OT- got the job at the bank! HAven't heard back from anything else yet, but I had an interview last Friday that went really well, so she sent me to meet with someone else in another branch today. This lady was laughing the whole time cuz it was a prety chill interview. I walked out with her saying "Well, Kristin, I think you are absolutely lovely and that's exactly what I'm gonna tell Jennifer, so count on hearing from her with an offer in a few days". Thank god cuz I need me some money and insurance. And I'm doinf an a$$load of painting so I can start selling them (hopefully) at restaurants and the Greenwich festival and Milford Oyster Fest in the summer cuz those people have got some serious dough to spend on nothing. We were from Milford before here and my parents grew up there and they said all the New Yorkers sumemr there and want to "take back a piece of their summer" from the festivals when they leave". ok, so here is my question... with little backstory to lead into it: I went over to the serial drama sight to see what was said about TQ that was posted here and I was reading down and it came to the "how stupid is patrick drake for not realizing he's the baby daddy" line (paraphrased a bit). It said he knew they had sex a few weeks before and that the condom broke and yata yata yata- he should have figured it out. Here is my question? Why is he not being tested for HIV now? He had vurtually unprotected sex with an HIV pos person, hello? I know that the SOAP answer would be b/c he already had that story when he was stabbed by the infected needle, but come on, once of these times he's gonna get it and we're gonna have another aids patient in the mix. I know that it's not a big story right now but I think they owe it to the viewers to be responcible about anything like this. Ok, my rant is done... this is what happens when we get no Tracy!

Hey Hooked, loved this story SOoooo much!!! it's definately what should have been, and maybe can be still I guess! We have all this time for luke to make it up to her!

I may be going against the grain here, but I think it was neccessary. Maybe not to this extent or for as long as it seems like it will be, but frankly, they needed some kind of turmoil and something to get in their way. We all say that a coupleon soaps isnot worth watching if eevrything is always perfect. The trouble with these two is that, no matter how much we like their tender moments and their hot moments, they sparkle when there is some struggle between them, when they are fighting each other and we can see the passion. With that happening so often how can it be considered a bump in the LuNacy road. They needed to come up with something that will keep us on our toes and, let's give credit where credit's due, they've certanly done that. We are in here everyday saying what we want to see happen and how and when they need to get back together, onwhether we think JE is playing it like TQ is realy done with it or if she is just trying to be done (though we all know it's not). They've done their job on this one and whether or not we think it should have happened, and make no mistake... I don't, I do thnk it was neccessary for them as a soap couple and I think it could amke for some great scenes like Thursday's and hopefully Luke's fighting and trying to win her back their eventual makeup!!! Don't hate me for putting a spin on it but that's what I think. Hooked a) loved the story! and here's a link for you and anyone else who wants to see. I finally finished my picture at 12:30 tonight. I've posted a bit but they've all been past by so I kinda gave up for a while. I didn't have much time to be on anyway so I was just lurking and checking things out... keeping up. Plus I had to check to see if she was on each day! Hooked, no problem. I just didn't want it to go by b/c I had forgotten about it. Lainey (I think): I agree, I kinda want Monica to have hit Sam. Really just b/c I don't like Sam, but regardless of what it does to the Q's as a whole I think it can be a good story and more of a story than LC has had in a long time. I do think, however, that the writers need to decide what the story is. Did she hit her b/c Sam ran out of nowhere running from the TMK or was it cuz she was drunk? I know it can actually be both, but to build the drunk story out of it it should be a little stronger than this b/c she could have just as easily hit her b/c she didn't see her if this is what is happening. Stick with you story, TIIC! Don't know what else to say right now. Just finished painting for today. I'll be done with my picture by tomorrow hopefully (I will if I have the time to do it, if not it'll definately be by the weekend) Started my friend's wall today. She had some stuff going on at work that is horrible so I had to listen to all of that too, I don't want to say it all b/c it's not my stuff- I know no one knows her but still- but I felt horrible for her. I didn't believe that it was going to be Logan but it looks like it is. there are pics on the second and third page I think that have him grabbing Lulu from behind and scaring her andthen he is laying on the floor and she is hugging Johnny. And I think maybe Epiphany is the heart attack patient they were talking about b/c she is in a hospital bed but i don't think she is supposed to be attacked by the TMK. Maybe she is and we just don't know yet. No new Tracy or LuNacy pics yet though Ok, now if divorcing her is one of the "great lengths" Luke is going to go to to get her back I am done. D.O.N.E.... well maybe not, but I'll make the effort. OT: having been on much so a quick hi to everyone? Hope all is well with everyone but I don't have the time to go that far back in the posts or to respond to everything everyone said, sorry. Have way too much to do right now. My memere has me painting a scenic picture for my uncle he took on his honeymoon a few months ago. It's a gorgeous picture but it has palm trees which means I have to do all the back layers first b/c you can see through the trees. Normally I can do a piece at a time and move over but I have to do it in layers and I wrk in poils paint, which is what he wanted anyway so I have to wait for it try dry b4 I can do anything else to it. I have been waiting at least that long and it still doesn't dry fast enough. I know this is how it works with oils but I don't have time to wait for it if it isn't a picture for me. Big pain in the ass if you ask me. I guess I'll post a copy when i'm done. Should be soon. THen I have to finally paint my friend's son's bedroom wall. I don't think I'll want to se another paint brush for a good long time. Carrie- speaking of "art", did you ever decide if you want me to do that picture for you? Just let me know. I've tried to ask you a few times on here but I know how easy it is with so many posts to go right by things so if I don't hear from you i'll try your email. Ok, off to right my newsletter for work and then, surprise surprise, more painting. Job intervew Friday... just at a bank which I don't really want to do for long if I don't have to, but it's money and lots of insurance for now so it works for me!

Oh no, I totally get that it is only to set up her desperation for Jerry money and offer, but we couldn't make it a little more believable? I mean, maybe when they didn't care if tracy had a real story or any fans they could write something like this and not care if it made sense or sounded plausable, but now, when we know she is supposed to be getting a more prominent role, lets smarten up the story folks

First thing's first... I think Irish as an online course is perfect!!! It's not a language you'll really ever use unless you move to Irland and find only the older people who actually still speak it (b/c I'm pretty sure it's just a culture thing they keep around, they don't really speak it anymore... but I could be wrong). That makes it a great computer course b/c you don't need to have to pronounce it, as long as you know what everything is on paper you're golden. That's the easiest part of taking a languae usually, the pronunciation is the hardest thing so you may have it easy!! I agree on the show too, I felt bad for her. Though I have to say I'm a little confused about the preview that she's running out of money. I know she doesn't have access now, but she is still working and making the money that was supposedly keeping the family afloat. I'd think that, for spite, she cash some of her exorbitant pay checks, let them fend for themselves and find out the need her, and have money on hand to do with what she pleases!! Monica looked like a real person again in the last few episodes, did anyone notice? Not to insult or anything, but we know she's had a long period of looking like she doesn't move and even her smiles looked funny, but the last few days she has expression, smiles... she can do more than blink!! She looked great! On the other hand, while I have always said that onher worst day, wearing a potato sack, JE can't look bad only worse than her normal fabulousness.... I stand corrected. I think yesterday was the worst I've ever seen her look. The whole thing wasn't working for me. Obviously the clothes were aweful, but the makeup was bad, it's not a good day for the hair, and she just looked older. Old, in fact, not just older. I understand the point of the makeover as an "I am not just Luke's wife, I am an atractive powerful woman" kind of thing, but they should have given her one that can always look attractive than. I think it looked best the first day, a little overdone on the product end of it, but makeup was good, outfit was good. It was all a LITTLE much, but it orked together, at least enough to show that she's gorgeous and she looked young... alas... not yesterday have to say though, I think my fave was when Edward was making fun of the "bond" TRacy says that she and Alan shared and Alan said "well that's actually true". Great big brother, but seriously, he couldn't have said that when he was livine for the old butthead to hear? oh, and I checked the money freezing thing b/c I was curious after everyone is asking and the first thing I saw written on a site was that usually these people have Swiss bank accounts so how can the US freeze it? A bit of a stupid question b/c they obviously they can't if it isn't a US account, but a begs the question... why can't Tracy, who does have a swiss bank account, get her money out of there? She's got plenty

Wow, is that one of her outfits from years ago making a return appearance? I want to say it was from when she hid the pillow under her shirt when she was making fun of a preggers Skye. other times too but that's what I think of. It's been a long time since that's come back and as bad as it is, it is an outfit from when she a bigger story, so MAYBE (that's a big and questionable maybe) that's a good thing. This is not to say I like anything about it, looks awful with "new-hair" and the only fur colar thing I've ever liked on her was the brown one from Alan's death. The only prob I had with that is that it was on screen for so long. This one is just horrible!!!!! Still loving the story posibilities though, so I'm ok with it all if we get good material out of it.

Theme of sweeps from JFP; JFP says sweeps is about the Power of Love vs the love of power, who chooses what option? and who is caught in a trap between both? OH MY GOD!!!!! this sounds so fantastic. Grain of salt my A$$. I love this!!! I'm taking it, grabbing it with both hands, and running with it! I love the luke will go to any lenght to get her back, that's spectacular to me!!! But the wholw thing sounds good, and what's better is that it's all coming up soon. I'm choosing not to look at how long it is since we see them (or her) anymore, I'm looking at it as one day closer to the next time they're on, and it's a huge build up the longer they are gone. Don't think this means I am ok with the absence, just means I'm trying not to dwell on it! Positivity. OT: just went through a whole ton of job apps. I tried for one as a fundraising assistant (at least for now) with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation... my peeps!!!! I thnk that would be a ton of fun. Not what I had in mind as a career, but if I had to bide the time in a job that is just so I have money and insurance I would love it to be for one that A) does good, and is something that effects me so I would be very invested in helpnig it. hey guys, after watching the show and not just the youtube clips I'm amending my view on the hair... don't love it or hate it, but I really really want her hair back. Now, though, I think the whole thing was too harsh for JE, for TRacy in her current mood it's perfect though. Halee was right, it's great bitch hair. I think it's too high maintanence for JE, again, but for Tracy I think it fits and since the stars have to do whatthey are told in regards to hair, it was Tracy cutting it and not JE (had to be an upside) and not that she just decided she was bored with it. I think the drastic cut works really well for the story behind it, she cut it as part of an out with the old thing she has going. She's getting back into having a life and she's getting involved with more people on the show and more stories, so she is clearly going to have some importance again... about damned time I say!!! So why not have a whole fresh start?! oh I am SOOOOOO gonna love the stories coming up! Halee- I know what you're talking about with the whole east coast west coast transition thing. It doesn't take as long as you'd think, huh? I am from Ct so there is a ton of humidity and rain and the whole shebang over here. When I went out for the summer to stay with my aunt and uncle I was cracking up when they and others would complain about the humidity (there's none, by the way, for any who don't know or any Californians who think there is!) and by the end of the 3 months I was dying and wondering why it was so humid all of a sudden.

I'm kind torn. I sort of love it and hate it... I think the hate it comes from my really loving and missing her hair longer, but I'll get used to it. She's a little hotty, not many people can pull off that hair I don't think. I do like it way more than I thought i would from the description (I don't don't generally like her with short short hair), the makeup and the hair was all good today. She was workin' it hard!! As for the rumor.... I choose not to believe it unless it is one of those things that they are phrasing it that way to draw more attentiopn to the story. They break them up for a day or 2 (they'll get a good 2 or 3 weeks out of that in Soapworld). But I still think it's a great thing to write to them anyway. Could never hurt. PS, for whoever asked, when I drew that picture of her last year (not the fanzine one) I did send a copy alone wth a letter but no I never got anything back. I don't know if that's athe way it always works with her, but nothing for me

ok, in Kristin's world (a world where all my faves are, in fact, real people to me) I don't like TRacy hurt... but in the real world I so cannot wait for this story to begin. I know peole are back and forth but I'm gonna love it. If nothing else, it will give JE a chance to use some of what she's been perfecting for 30 years!!! a little sidenote so feel free to scroll down: I HATE INSURANCE COMPANIES!!!! I know everyone says that (and I'm sorry if anyone works for one and I'm forgetting) but I'm really not diggin' 'em today. I had to call a bunch b/c my cobra plan will be expiring in the next few months so I have to find one on the off chance I don't get a job before it ends. Not one perso will cover me b/c I already have diabetes. I know this is a problem for a lot of people, but come on!! In theory everyone needs health insurance, but in practice how much really? They need it for dr's appointments and the occasional antibiotic, but seriously I have an insulin pump that I need to replace every few years (coming up on that in a few months btw) that cost $7000 when I got the frst one 7 years ago so now I don't know. I need supplies for the pump every 2 months, $700 a box. I need my insulin, 2 different kinds b/c I have an insulin resistance so I need to keep changing what I take. Last I need a new med called symlin b/c of my resistance to make my insulin actually work for me. I would be so far in the hole wothout insurance so, come on, give me some of the money that the other people don't need instead of making them pay like crazy for what they don't use!!!!! I know that isn't practical nor is it right to do to anyone so you can disregard the whole show me the money thing, but you got my point. I knew the systen work against people, but now I am convinced that it is specifically desinged to do so. I have always been a very damned possitive person, regardless of my venting, this turned me right around on that! I am now I cranky conspiracy seaking bitch who is gonna want to stick it to the man at some point..... only for something like this though. Otherwise I'm just me writing and drawing and having a high old time watching JE. speaking of drawing.... Carrie, did you every decide what you wanted to do about a picture? oh yeah, and Hooked and MissJAne: how're we looking on my story?
