  1. 11-13 A few stray thoughts... I know I didn't like this episode too much the first two times around because what was the point of these Dani/Andre scenes. And it still really doesn't work. Then I thought about what I said earlier about the story change direction for Derek. I hope this is not the way of trying to explain away Andre's fear of being in front of the camera. Ted still ain't s@#%. It was nice to see all four of our mains (Anita, Vernon, Nicole, Dani), but I have to admit that I felt a way that the only one who has what appears to be an actual frontburner story at the moment is Dani. I want more.
  2. And if they are going to try...Hottie Sonny can stay gone.
  3. Yeah, the Dimeras to me are what the Cassadines are to GH. That gothic clan that should always be powerful or have some edge to them. However, that kinda of clan does not seem to be sustainable. At least not without either good writing or without a constant writing regime change.
  4. Good to hear all the Monique talk. I will be playing catch-up tonight. GOOD.
  5. Oh so where there is smoke...judging from tweets...so I had to run over here. Woooooow. Good rumor and awesome if true. Same.
  6. So proving Naomi is a blending of her father AND her mother.
  7. Very. She still have good writing moments due to her remembering some of (if not all as there have been cases) the history between some of the characters. However, just like CVE's writing tics irk me, I am growing to dislike her writing issues...real, alleged, what have you. Especially if it is a part of (if not the main) reasons I see so little of Liz and Laura in logical places on the canvas where they should be.
  8. Just wasted potential all around.
  9. 11-12 Another few stray thoughts... Yeah, watching this, it definitely does seem like the Dark Derek storyline is over. And now what is he pivoting to? Nice Ted/Kat scenes. TeamKat. So is this how they are going to keep writing Naomi going forward? If so...NO.
  10. That's because Sasha does have more interesting relationships on canvas than That Woman.
  11. Yep. Pretty much. I do wonder how Wendy will be playing it given how she's been acting from clips from BravoCon.
  12. Well like I said and continue to say...that show will try anything, everything, AND the kitchen sink to keep a couple apart rather than letting organic conflict within the characters keep them apart with light external influence. Look at Jason and Britt stuff. They went through all this mess to resurrect a dead girl for Jason when he has a single love interest that is standing around on canvas that makes sense. But I still haven't forgiven the show for that single love interest being single at a time with her three (yes, three) most popular love interests all on canvas at the same time AND single and barely paired her with any of them...and STILL fumbled the pairing picked.
  13. Same. There's plenty to be said for new characters cleverly and slowly being introduced into a canvas. Look at Izaiah on BTG for example. Or they could explore chemistry that is already there, too. Don't get me started. re: Ridge/Brooke. They had the perfect opportunity in the May/December potential of Brooke/Hollis who was nice and foine and totally into Brooke and they set that up nice and slow (by B&B's standards) while KA Taylor could have started with Deacon cuz that chemistry was already there. On the canvas. And new possibilities. And back then, they still could be playing a Taylor/Deacon/Sheila triangle cuz he had been sleeping with her. I agree with these as well. It's probably why in the case of families, I enjoy the Martin/Smitty family unit very much and the resurgence of people in the Q Mansion on GH. VERY.
  14. Exactly!!! That makes it stand out more.
  15. It really was. The direction. The sweeping music. The clothes. The remote. I could go on. It's so hard to find a modern supercouple. They are IT.
  16. 11-11 Kinda going ahead and rewatching the week. Something came to mind. Right now, there are several storylines going on. And they have been interesting for the most part. But you all know I prefer one of the A stories with the other stories surrounding it kinda of weeks. But there's really been no one A story dominating for...hmmmm a month or so now outside of Bill/Dani/Hayley really...but there has been building and momentum of some sort going on. Not sure if that is Tracey Thomson's influence, but I do like it. That said...the buildup to Winterfest has been pretty good. I mentioned that I felt like it is roping in their A stories which I'm liking. So I expect them to be present very soon. Dani/Bill/Hayley will be there. The SilkPress storyline is building again after just standing still for months. And Samantha's antics have roped Martin/Smitty in. So stray thoughts... June has come such a long way, over here being 'hip' Mom with Samantha. And I liked that the Martin/Smitty scenes this episode and not just cuz the bubbles were bubbling. I felt that they reunited a little too quickly, so it is nice to see that the tension is still in play from Martin's Secret. I'm sad when I see the Caroline/Hayley scenes now knowing what we know about Hayley. And Hayley and her poison drop is just so soapy. Hehe. Kat vs Eva is always fun. That said...TeamKat. I don't care how bougie and imperfect she is. Kat has NOT been wrong. And Eva storming into Kat's home trying to be THAT bitca ain't helping her case. It might be slanted writing, but I'm all for Kat going after her after that mess of a scene. Nice hair though, Ambyr. That said...I love Izaiah/Eva. I also like how they are slowly fitting Izaiah along the canvas. And it's been fascinating to see Izaiah's reactions to folk knowing the info Eva gave him. I soooo love the Martin/Smitty/Samantha/Ty family unit.
  17. Oh, don't I know it! lol. I tried. But that Matt reveal...when I just left after the Dumas reveal and the 2 legacy deaths and how Damian...a dynamic new (and black first in a while) character...was discarded for this current crap...was too much. I was willing to watch up to the wedding. I'm good. I'll wait. And yes. A GOOD writer would have enough good story going on around (or even during) the wedding, that they might keep some of the gained audience visiting. Look at GH. ES's arrival for the Monica arc DID get some visitors that haven't either never watched GH or have not in years. And there's enough good story around ES's arc that now that it seems over, I'm curious to see if that audience will stick around. Shows how much JG IS NOT a good writer.
  18. RI I liked it. They looked good and messy. I like that their logo is a lighthouse. And yep...that girl DOES look like Dolores. My only issue is that I can't tell them apart at all. Vibe was kinda giving first POTOMAC promo which is also a plus.
