The worst. I don't know why they didn't play her with Wayne more, but I guess Marlena. She had chemistry with MS. They just never had a point to her character. It was more actress based than a thought.

Honestly, Julia leaving was a clusterf*ck. She was just going to move away in the middle of things happening for her and Brenda becoming a legit thing on the show? I will always think firing CC was a mistake. I don't think Brenda needed more THINGS in the 90's but a steady family member would not have hurt. She was just abandoned to live at the Q's forever.

Scott and Dom had a lot of story, no? And Julia was doing stuff as well. LH leaving could have played into though. I mean, there isn't really a lot of reason for Laura to be involved. I am not sold she gives a [!@#$%^&*] about cosmetics. Meh? I just chalk it up to Brenda being Brenda in the 90's and thinks she deserves everything. I want to say Julia was part of Deception for awhile after she left town so Brenda might not be totally wrong? Assuming Julia dies and leaves it to her. And judging by her post-Deception modeling career she was a find for deception at low rates as she said multiple times.

Idk I felt like Lucy and Brenda and Katherine talked about it ad nauseum-at least the cosmetics side. The "Face of Deception" thing was pretty genius. Supermodel Brenda Barrett really wanted that assignment. I think they did okay with it. It tied into the Katherine/Ned stuff and then into Joe Scully, but I never knew there was a spa. That was clearly dropped. The revivals of Deception have lacked. Not just because any model would pale in comparison to Brenda (Sasha? no), but because they start it then stop it.

How does Deception end up Lucy's? I am always confused by how Julia owns it, but Lucy finds Brenda as her model and Julia balks at it. Really nothing to do with the topic at hand but I have always been confused how it was Julia's and Scott's and then Lucy's.

Did he tell him he was pretty but a shi**y actor too? lol Sutton clearly did that all on his own with trained coaches and what not. Same with Vanessa. They truly had something in them to improve, but if they are fine with MB taking credit for their improvement that works for me. They don't know each other as far as we know. This would make sense. My guess is Craig is just wondering around the square like he does and they discuss gay/bi situations they are both experiencing in their love lives. Also, I would feel so awkward about my grandparents trying to mend my relationship with my boyfriend like Kate/Roman are for Allie.

Listen, I would be happy if Johnny did anything besides offer Gabi cherry chocolates and turn crosses upside down.. But legitimately Marlena is a goldmine for podcasts. Kidnapping, Possession, rape, affairs, death, not knowing your husband isn't your husband. GOLD

Haha! That would require Marlena having scenes with her own grandson. I mean, seriously, this is awful. Johnny could just make an actual documentary about Marlena's life instead of a movie with a cast. That would be cheaper and probably more popular. I am a sucker for two things: flashbacks and music. I love a concert at a local joint on soaps. Days in the 80's and GH in the 90's was all about that. Even if I had to listen to some bad Wally Kurth and Ricky Martin songs along the way.

Well, it works out fine for our lovely Marlena in the long run lol, but she really has a rough go for awhile. Her son dying, Don cheating, rape, slut shamed etc. Don is kind of an ass, no? It's been so long since I have seen Don/Marlena clips and obviously you can't find them now, but wasn't he trying to get Marlena back for a bit? I am not a huge Frisco/Felicia fan or history buff. So was there any reason she couldn't have been a European princess or was the Aztec part super important to the story? That makes a lot more sense. KW is perfect as Felicia, but she certainly doesn't scream Aztec Princess lol.

Don seemed way more into than Renee, but Renee at least looked like she was appreciating the performance. Mary was sorta bobbing her head with a stone cold look on her face, so Idk if she liked it or not. I have to laugh at Marlena front row just scowling lol.

I don't necessarily think Maxie and Georgie's real names are stupid just the nicknames. And Georgie isn't even that bad. I really think Maxie is just a ridiculous nickname that was possibly cute as a child, but not a name for an adult person. Agreed. I don't know which writer thought Maxie was cute (Labine?), but Mariah is a much prettier name. It's not just Maxie-I think Belle is an idiotic nickname for Isabella on Days as well. She's not a Disney character.

Yeah, today was a lame show. I hate the Possession, but why are Ciara/Ben the ones who are figuring this out? Is Marlena not allowed to share a scene with JoDevil? Isn't Marlena supposed to be important in this reboot? Not those two nitwits that do nothing but have sex and canoodle all day? I guess they have time on their hands since they don't have jobs like Marlena, but still. I can't believe Julie, Ciara, and Ben are going to figure this out instead of someone in Johnny's own family. No big deal now, but I never understood why Stone and Sonny were both named Michael. That's just weird to have two characters introduced at the same time that heavily interacted to have the same name. Although I can't recall when we found out Sonny's real name. It was a bit later. Then to introduce Mike and name a kid Michael. Enough! Michael is a common name. My dad and brother are named Michael, but it's strange the show had so many Michaels in a 5 year period. I'll go on record saying I hate the name Louise, but the names Georgie and Maxie are stupid too, so I expect nothing less from her. I have never met a Maxie in real life. It's not a name it's a feminine hygiene product.

I haven't seen that 'story' since it aired and I don't think I was watching Days that frequently, but I did think it was going somewhere. IIRC, they even used old flashbacks of her radio show and the Stalker calling her. Although I am not sure if it was leading to Hattie and the fact that Samantha was killed by Jake, but it really went nowhere. Even though Hattie has reappeared a million times-the initial Hattie story just died out lol. I mean how many options does Liz have to perform in Salem? Health Club opening it is. It is awkward she just has a microphone and is in the middle of the room jamming out, but, again, Don was digging it. I figured. I just thought she was married to Tony before Salem, but I think Liz's love life is so convoluted you would have to do a deep dive wiki search to figure it out.

Should I even ask why Liz's last name is Courtney at this point? Don's really enjoying the music lol... which seems like a really rude thing to do Marlena? But I am not sure where we are at in the Marlena/Don/Kellam timeline here.
