Jason Q and Sonny did interact a bit through Stone and Brenda. Jason organized a party for Stone at the Q mansion and let him use the gym at the house and I remember him being against Sonny and Brenda (mostly peripherally at first). I would say Jason Q/Sonny were friendly acquaintances at least. they definitely knew one another were at several of the same events interacting like Ned/Lois's wedding and Nurses Balls. Sonny/Monica interacted while Sonny was on the ELQ board and in regards to Jason/AJ quite a bit. My pick- Liz/Brenda- I am not sure have ever even spoken to one another even though they had tons of characters in common.

Marlena had DJ fairly early in her run and no kids that popped up unless you count the Gemini Twins which weren't really hers. In the scheme of things her child count is pretty low with only 3 living children, but John and Roman were the ones with kids coming out of the woodwork. Although I would not be shocked if someday a 1986 Jarlena baby turns up (as long as it's not Ben)

I feel bad loathing a kid, but he's so obnoxious. I don't get why he likes Kellam so much and hates Don. Plus, he gave Kellam the key to Marlena's apartment which led to her rape. I feel like he's around for awhile too. I am glad he was basically replaced by Carrie and never spoken of again.

It might just be a 70's thing because Tracey Bregman looks about 30 too and I know she's still a teenager IRL in this lol. I loved Marlena's early 90's look where she would drape the matching scarf over her business suit. I don't know if I am explaining that right, but I always thought it was so chic and glamourous. I wish there was more classic days available. I would love to see more early Roman/Marlena because Don/Marlena aren't that great. He's not very nice to her and just grumpy in general. And, too bad she died, but Samantha is annoying AF. She's always whining about something and Don is an idiot because you can clearly tell the twins apart. I know Donna was universally disliked, but I actually like her. I do hate Johnny the random kid Marlena adopts. It's mean to hate child actors but that kid is grating!

I love Chanel and Johnny both. She is gorgeous and he is obviously super hot too. Great additions to the cast for sure. I am so happy Days found younger actors that are good because that has been a problem for years...

I stumbled upon a private playlist on you tube that has a bunch of early Marlena and Marlena/Don clips and again DH is a really good actress. Like surprisingly good. I have grown up with her brand of camp and I love it, but she's really good in these early scenes. I am not surprised she became super popular but I am surprised she never won an emmy along the way. And DH has aged obviously, but I think she looks very mature even in the late 70's and that helped her cause along the way because she looked older than she was to begin with lol.

Whoever said RB channels Lark Voorhies is 100% correct. She so reminds me of her lol. Chanel is totally Lisa Turtle but better.

Ben is worse than Sonny. Because they did sorta acknowledge Sonny's actions for awhile in the 90's and it obviously wasn't as bad as Ben. And I definitely don't think RSW and VK have the chemistry MB and VM did. They certainly white washed Sonny in the 2000's, but I think they were okay at showing Sonny's faults in the 90's. I guess the best way for me to explain it for myself is that I never considered Sonny the good guy, but still adored him with Brenda and rooted for him. But Ben is made out to be the good guy all the time and we aren't even allowed to make our own decisions because the writers make us think we have to love him. Yeah, Steve was a little more than gray. He was def a creeper in the beginning, but again did not kill people and I think the 80's had anti-heroes that did things that would not be accepted today.

I certainly don't think RSW is a good actor, but this Cin stuff proves he has some sort of charisma to catch on with the audience. The writing did him a disservice. They could have made Ben crazy without fully making him a serial killer and the choice to bring him back after was....odd to say the least. And then RC did him a disservice again by just ignoring the ramifications of his killings. The fact is Ben never should have been brought back. I am sure Days could have found a guy VK had good chemistry with and built a love story around that, but I don't necessarily think it's RSW's fault. I am sounding like a CIN fan or something, but I think it's more writing than the actor. He's not Juilliard trained lol, but this show gave Drake Hogestyn and Austin Peck careers.

Plus, I would say RSW/Ben didn't bring much to the table to begin with except being hot. He was bland as hell until he started killing people. This is different than Marlena killing half of Salem because she was brainwashed. This is a psycho killer who got the right meds. Unfortunately, the best way to go would have been to say Jordan actually committed the crimes and be done with it. Ben's like 3 missed doses away from killing again. VK and RSW have chemistry for days but it's hard to build a super couple on his history. It's not Bo or Steve being grey or shady when they first started on the show. This is a man who killed 3 innocent people, got out early because he was 'cured', and is now living his best life with Ciara. And people aren't allowed to judge it on the show and Ben hasn't done a ton to repent.

I liked today. I liked the Devil silliness. At least the Johnny wised up and decided Marlena's life story/Possession is where it's at. I guess my question/concern is that this is an entire different scenario than 1995. How is Marlena going to get away with this crap when she is married to John? John isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but I think it's a lot harder when they share a home and life as opposed to 95 when she was more isolated and he is already concerned about the devil stuff. Maybe the devil will skip around a bit. It still seems a little early for MarDevil to have taken over, but I guess we will see how it's paced.

I have no knowledge of anything about this, but I just don't feel like Jax was a Guza creation mainly because he lost interest in Jax so quickly after the Brenda/Sonny stuff and let him linger doing not a whole lot for so long.

I don't know for everyone but I think I heard Deidre has a 2 day week guarantee and Drake has a 1.5 a week one. I think at their 90's peak they had 3 but were just paid to be used more. I think this was especially true for Eileen. RSW, Isabel Durant, PT, AZ, Lindsey Arnold, CB, and GG lead the episode count YTD. BB, NB, and EOB are only a few episodes behind them, so they are probably closer to 2.5/3 days a week. But I am sure it's more cost effective to use LA 4 days a week than Dee. I can't imagine anyone would have more than a 3 day guarantee, even KA, but she was on a lot doing nothing mostly.

I doubt it would be ED, but I wish it were. I think Eric might even be more important even if he is recast. Like maybe he went back to priesthood after his marriage broke up. It would be a good redemption arc for the Kristen character. An actual believable one, but this show doesn't really feel she needs to be redeemed lol.

Kristen was such a big part of the original Possession and it would be a way to tie in what was a seemingly pointless plot from a few years ago. Maybe Lani could be first to suspect something or Kristen needs to be part of the exorcism and 'redeems' herself. Again, Eric would be useful as well.

Yes! I thought he was hot from the Real World. I think that's half the reason I liked him as Phillip lol. I wanted him to succeed. I always thought he was smirking and laughing in all his scenes with Charity Rahmer like he was in on her awfulness, so I liked that about him too.

Agree 100%. Belle and Brady should look younger than Sami/Eric not the same age especially when the show continues to mention things like Sami trying to sell baby Belle on the black market. It wouldn't bother me as much if Belle's conception wasn't tied to events that are still spoken about fairly frequently. And they definitely need to de-age Claire. MM looks her age, but her age is not anywhere near old enough to have a 29 year old daughter lol. I have always thought he was hot and it looks like he's aged really well. Good for him for making a career for himself.

DevilBelle would be a start. Or have her mix it up with EJ or Chad or something. I don't know if MM has it in her to be a romantic heroine, but she deserves to be something more than being a lawyer and doting husband to Shawn. I think MM does well with friendships and with her family so give her scenes with Jarlena, Brady, Chloe, EJ, etc. and style MM better. I think she did good with the Jan stuff and I am okay with Jan being her Stefano big bad and locking her or Shawn in a cage yearly.

Yeah, I think she's been a bartender for awhile, but I never knew why she started or why she continues to be a bartender 3 years later. Not knocking bartenders-they make a lot, but you would think at some point she would have transitioned over to being a lawyer or something. Kristina continues to be the most stagnant character that has so many possibilities. Give her even 20% of Michael's airtime and she'd be more interesting than all the Millow we see.

I wish she'd be bitchy on screen then. She only gets to with Jan or Sami on occasion. Sami isn't wrong. She's a wet noodle. I know she's supposed to be Marlena Jr. but Marlena on her most sanctimonious days is way more exciting. Belle would should be possessed by the devil for awhile. Charity Rahmer was more exciting than MM. At least she inappropriately flirted with her on screen dad to spice things up and you never knew what 'acting' choices she would make next. I really only know KB from the Real World and Days. I see he has a game show on Peacock now. I honestly thought he was an okay Phillip.

I think Kyle Brandt said he was kind of a dick back in the day too. He's made some comments that make him seem very full of himself I can't imagine MM being bitchy-not that I doubt you. I wish some of that bitchiness would come off on screen. That actually might make me like Belle more lol. Belle/Shawn always seem so sexless in a way most couples, even bad ones, don't. Jarlena still act like they want to get it on every night. Even Doug/Julie seem passionate lol. I believe they love one another, but there is zero passion and they do seem like best buds. I know BB and MM can do passion because BB did it on B&B and MM had it with JKJ. It's a shame because it's too late to recast now and we are just stuck with them unless KS and JC randomly decided they want to come back one day. I think Shawn/Brady should at least be friends. They are in laws and he could be pro-Brady in the war over Chloe since apparently Belle hates her brother and is pro-Phillip.

I can't remember JPL's Phillip and Belle together either. I can't remember JPL at all as Phillip, but I can remember something as random as Lani/Shawn. What a weird choice for a Phillip recast. I know most people hate KB's Phillip, but I thought he fit the role at the time.

I honestly thought the Lani/Shawn stuff happened when they came back and Belle randomly cheated on Shawn with someone in Maine lol. But it must have been Phillip. Belle's kinda a whore.

I think Lani was a little more vixenish when she first started, but with Sal's delivery it's hard to tell. I don't think Shawn and her were much, but I remember her being really into both Rafe and Shawn and you knew it wasn't going to go anywhere. I think it was very much a situation where they brought her in to be Abe's daughter and then didn't know what to do with her. Lani/Eli don't bother me much. I don't think they are terribly exciting, but I do think the show uses them okay.
