I think Jax dying could actually be a good story. Everything Jax has been preaching about for 25 years would come back and kill him. It would be pretty epic. And Vanessa could come back and cry about it🤣 which is my true agenda.

It makes sense for Tony/Anna especially with Carrie/Austin involved. I guess there are only so many people you can show, but I don't think Steve/Kayla being with Jarlena in Switzerland would be shoehorned in. I am happy with what we got as far as casting on this so I won't complain. Paul was paralyzed I believe when he left, but he has shown signs of improvement I think according to John who mentions him from time to time. I would be all for a recast Paul, but Christopher Sean was so perfect. He really had similar mannerisms to Drake and is exactly what I would imagine a John/retconTori child would look like if that makes sense lol. He has so much charisma in a role that should have been a flop.

OMG! Paul as an ISA agent is brilliant. Is he still paralyzed? Loved Paul with Will. Loved Paul in general. Will/Paul on spy missions would be amazing. Yeah, it's kinda sad Steve/Kayla got sidelined for the spinoff, but I think it was either them or Jarlena and I think Jarlena are just more of the face of Days.

He was sidelined. And JER made WN's Roman almost seem like the bad guy for not forgiving Marlena and being a jerk of a husband before the affair. I get the point of writing him off the canvas only to bring him back when Jarlena planned to marry, but I think it would also have been interesting to have him stick around. To have him and Marlena try again, only to realize it would never work and maybe have him be a surrogate father to Belle like Marlena was to Carrie. Or at the very least be involved in his kids drama. They could have cast Eric earlier. It certainly did the character of Roman no favors to be gone while Sami, Carrie, and Marlena were going through major life crisis for years. I certainly prefer John/Marlena and loved their 90's stories, but I loved Roman too and it was hard to see such a important leading man basically fade away into a talk to at the Brady Pub. Who knows? She only talked about it briefly. It was an interview for Beyond Salem on Dishin Days. I do think she might have meant a smaller community of people she knew maybe? Like she knew the whole town of Salem, but was starting fresh in a different town lol. I just don't see Marlena working on a Ryan's Hope like soap. Regardless of what Deidre thinks, there is something flashy about Marlena with the supercouple pairings, kidnappings, adventure stories, arch rival villians, etc. no matter what. And yes, a Trump like family was supposed to be involved. But it's been about 30 years so maybe Deidre is forgetting some things lol.

I think the magazine polls were heavily in favor of RoJohn/Marlena as a pairing. But then I have heard John/Isabella were popular as well. To me, she was annoying af when Marlena came back especially when she got pregnant. Anyhow, the whole Tale of 2 Romans started great and a lot was going on, but then nothing happened with the quad. Everyone stayed with their original pairings and it was very anti-climatic. Obviously, things happened a few years later, but I remember watching the end of that story and being like "that's it?" I think it was a risky decision. Drake was popular as Roman and I think in the end it really sidelined Roman permanently as a factor on the show. John and Roman fill the same role. And Drake as John won out. Josh Taylor has a lot to do with it, but it seems like JER was over even WN's Roman because they fired him. I think you can argue both men (WN/DH) had chemistry with Deidre, but I think Drake just had the 'hotter' chemistry with her and was a more ideal leading man, so it was John all the way. *BTW, Deidre did an interview today and was briefly talking about Manhattan Lives (which we all had a huge discussion about) and said it was all about Marlena needing to get away and moving to a "small town" and that it was a great bible lol. Manhattan Lives implies it's New York and not a small town, but okay Dee.

IKR? Austin/Carrie have a pretty volatile marriage. They are always breaking up. Don't know why Anna is so worried about it now lol. Thank goodness we have 70 year old John and Marlena to save the world on their super spy missions lol. I love it but it's so silly. About as silly as Lisa Rinna as an ISA agent, but I am totally going to watch Beyond Salem. I am excited about it.

I actually think Esme is a pretty name too, but you all can call her whatever you want because it's hilarious🤣 I think it's still better than some of the dumb names like Kiki, Scout or Rocco.

I immediately thought Jack Wagner lol. I really can't imagine anyone else. I can see Tristian getting wasted at lunch sometimes though. I don't think Michael Sutton was doing drugs. I believe he just basically quit acting and is a club promoter/restaurant owner in LA now and is very successful. I would assume the partiers of that era were Vanessa Marcil and Sean Kanan, as they both admit to that back in the day. I agree about MB. He has just seemed to have mellowed out and is self aware he wasn't the easiest person to deal with all the time and admits it. He and Steve had made great livings, had long careers, and provided for their families. Even if they weren't big time stars that's something to be proud of and they probably accept soaps are it for them.

I think the NLG twitter drama with Steve was just her saying people on set were unvaccinated the same day Steve tested positive so she was seemingly implying Steve was one of those people. And that started the drama. I don't really like NLG's personality much, but I do like Alexis. She's made more than one questionable comment (Viola Davis, John Callahan, etc.). I don't think she's wrong in this situation though.

I honestly met SBu several years ago at a place I worked and he was a super nice guy. Very handsome in person. I have no idea what he's truly like but he was extremely nice to me and my coworkers. I have met some super rude soap stars in my time working there. I think Burton was a dick back in the day because he thought he would go on to bigger and better things. It seems like him and MB have mellowed. MB is pretty open about being an ass back in the day.

Okay. Gotcha. I assume MB/SBu are used to being the big dogs on set. I would think SBu might be a little humbled by the fact they did replace him with a fairly popular recast. I have no idea why he thought he was hot stuff in the early 90's. No one even cared about Jason until he was brain damaged. He's probably just matured a little and acts more professionally. I have always had an issue with Steve shilling that juice to fans in that MLM scheme, but he seems to be out of that business. His persona tends to rub me the wrong way. I do chuckle at the fact he lived with Tara Reid for 2 years in the 90's. Idk, he's a 50 year old actor in a dying genre. I assume he's changed his ways a bit.

I find MB really likable in these videos. And he admits he was an ass too. MB goes into more detail about himself and Steve in his book (don't judge me-I read it during quarantine lol) I have no idea what SBu is like now. Are we talking about his beliefs? Or how he treats his co-stars? I have no doubt MB and SBu have gotten away with a lot of crap, but they both seem mostly well-liked now? MB seems close to a lot of his current/former co-stars. I am sure there are people they prefer to work with and it seems like MB/SBu were not nice to SJB or TB when they were Carly, but then Lilly Melgar, Vanessa, Michael Sutton, KMc all seem to love MB and they really don't need to go out of their way to praise him. SBu doesn't seem as well liked, but I don't think he is disliked. He had that band with Spinelli, Scott Reeves, and Brandon Barash for awhile. IDK, I get the feeling SBu and MB aren't the main problems on the GH set these days lol.

That was a really good interview. I love KMc. She just seems so real. It's nice her and MB are friends. I wonder who was doing all the drugs in 80's. And Lol at Tristian getting wasted during lunch and using a teleprompter. SBu must have been a real ass when he was young. Vanessa, Kim, and Maurice have all said it basically.

Idk, he just seems like someone who will double down on this and sue regardless. I have lawyers in the family lol. Maybe I am cynical. It sucks because I like Jax and Jax/Brenda were my jam in 1998. I feel like it's clear that Ingo has an agenda and that is to protect his job. He will immediately sue if he gets fired and he has a lot of years being part of the cast to at least make a claim. Some lawyer will take it. But it's also very clear he's being sidelined even if he's not outright fired. The Jason/Carly story should have been a Carly/Jax story. I just don't understand why they don't mandate vaccines when you are in close contact with other actors. As someone who got covid after being vaccinated due to another employees lack of vaccine I don't understand how it isn't required. Ingo can take a stand being home and unemployed and I always really liked Jax. What a shame.

I think they both have chemistry. NuChanel is good. The only person I don't think she has chemistry with is Allie, but they work okay as friends.

Today's episode was such filler. Boring. Nice to see Kate interacting with her son for once. This Jake/Gabi stuff is so stupid. Chloe/Brady/Phillip start and stall a lot. I have no idea why Nicole would plead her case to Roman. He obviously would have strong feelings against adultery. Marlena would have been the better choice. She is much more aware of Sami's faults and might be a little more forgiving about cheating. Ava and Rafe continue to be stupid. Can't Ava do something evil? She's so boring and doesn't even interact with her son. Or anyone she used to.

I would assume the episodes would be longer than 20 min because there are so many characters in it. If it was only 20 min apiece every character would get about 5 min total the entire serious. Which......I guess is possible. But I can't believe they'd sideline Ben/Ciara like that lol.

It is such a bizarre waste of Sonny's only grown daughter. She really has potential. We were always told how smart she was, but she works at a bar? Or did? I don't know what she does now. She never gets proper love interests, but we can watch Michael and Willow be bland EVERY DAY. I love the Lucky Santangelo idea, but I don't think Lexi is up for that task. I like her, but if she is hindering story than just recast. I don't think she has that big of a fanbase. Idk, I could see Kristina as a lawyer maybe. She can replace Diane, who I have always found to be super irritating. I know CH/Diane are popular but I hate her bashing Sonny/Jason's lifestyles while openly profiting from said lifestyles. I love when people call out Jason/Sonny for their crap, but it should be someone who isn't on their payroll.
