Yep, Bold is back at being my guilty pleasure binge watch. Something it hasn't been since... I think 2012-2013. So I'm getting creeped out by how much the show has improved. Have there been any new writers? I haven't kept an eye on that. Haven't seen if there is change there... I had honestly written this show off as DEAD.

I genuinely have no issue with toxic characters, whether they are female or male... (I think the males of BTG are equally toxic if not even more than the women actually - I mean talk about cheating left and right, the entire show STARTED with the whole MEN ARE TOXIC as hell angle - two sisters dealing with betrayal). I don't find the women more toxic than the men, but that can be subjective, so I don't disagree with people who think that way. My concern with Joey is that I don't perceive him as a full-fledged character - he comes off as a caricature (and how many times I have said this) - one-dimensional, dull and stale... I can't even call him as toxic, because I don't truly believe he exists in any fictional or real life situation. The only place I can see him function is a crime-themed sitcom, which BTG is not. At least I hope they aren't. Vanessa is even worse. She is a stereotype of a stereotype of a stereotype. You can quote me on that. And the writers don't seem to care about it. They don't see how much it cheapens the entire show to have this tired circus mob clown act as a background to an overall... classy show about human beings AND NOT clowns and caricatures. Of course Joey and Vanessa are just symptoms of a bigger problem. The writing needs to have an entire overhaul and they need to re-think a lot of things. And I'm confident they can do it, since they have been green-lit for YEARS more. So I expect to see improvements in the future.

I hope so too! And I hope we get to access it with a normal monthly fee like Bold have opened their vault.

At this point I've decided not to use the phone to access the site (the mobile version), since it constantly shows me as signed off while I'm trying to post and then it just fixes itself randomly 15 minutes later. It has made posting almost impossible. If this starts happening on the laptop though... then I'm lost what to do.

Now it's booting me in and out and when I'm logged out and try to login... Nothing happens. It just repeats giving me the opportunity to login and nothing happens. Then while I'm refreshing twenty... thirty times, I'm just magically logged in again. It makes posting almost impossible in the last half hour. I hope by the time I wake up tomorrow it's fine again.

And now the mobile works again. I haven't logged in it again or anything. I'm back logged in. LOL

It has now done this to me too. It has signed me out of the mobile version of the site, but when I press to be a normal not mobile version I'm still signed and can post.

First - congrats! AND YES - YES - do pick it up and if you can - start from couple of weeks ago when the Sheila/Taylor/Deacon stuff was heating up. I don't remember the dates sadly, but maybe someone can help. It's still a drivel, but very watchable and in their best shape in YEAAAAAAAAARS. Again - congratulations!

@sunvsbanner @mar4331 -I love seeing you all enjoying the show and sharing your thoughts about it. There are so many posts here for me to catch up on, and I want to thank you all in advance for that. I really think we've built a great vibe in the OLTL topic with so many people reliving the show. Some folks in charge really need to OPEN this topic and THEN think about putting classic OLTL on some official streaming platform. THE INTEREST is definitely there. I persnally haven’t watched in a couple of weeks - one because of work, two because our neighbors have been renovating and driving me crazy with the noise, always at the times I want to watch OLTL. I’d rather save the episodes for when they’re done making all that racket. I’ve tried a few times, but I can still hear the drilling even with headphones on. So, in a way, they’re OLTL-blocking me. Haha! I’m pretty particular about when and how I watch my favorite show. I can watch Brad Bell's trash through drilling, but not OLTL. So one of these days, when my work schedule loosens up a bit and these creatures stop making noise... I’ll be back in Llanview. I just hope by then you all haven’t gone through 1994 or 1995 and left me too much behind! 😁❤️

I personally believe (and that's my subjective opinion, I'm not stating this as fact) that Madonna does not NEED collaborations just for the sake of the collaboration... at this point in her career. We all know... she tends to collaborate with those who are currently popular - whoever or whatever it is. 🤣 Especially in the last 2 decades... that gave the impression that she was chasing trends (instead of creating or influencing them) and seeking attention, which is... of course - true. And Mother is unapologetic about it... which I LOVE about her. Madonna is the ultimate hustler. She will always be. The cringest of all (again subjective take) was Maluma... that horrific performance where she was twerking on him while also struggling to catch her breath - something I can't forget sadly. We've seen some other accidents... Cough... Tokisha... cough. One fact remains true - as the years and decades pass, the collaborations vary, but Madonna IS STILL HERE (I need her to cover "I'm still here" some day - @DRW50 😉) while many other "popular at the time" artists have completely faded away. Some we only read about in the crime section of the online papers, some we only see unhinged on social media with their underpants hanging. I guess that's one way to end the pop dream. P.S. I do like the song with Sabrina though... and it's one of the more tolerable Madonna collabs. And I don't mind Sabrina at all.
