Soaps need to... FIRE a few questionable head writers. That's what I want to wake up and read someone saying these days. The trash that is still working in this business... needs to be taken out.

I have one issue with Dani saving Bill, which will probably happen... I agree. My issue is what this tells me... it's that a man can cheat like a pig and f-ck your family friend that you invited in your house... and then you have to still be the one coming to save him from the turned-to-be-psycho opportunist.

Nooo... now I'm even more interested in Alex than I was. I thought they were going to let her be this boring mob wife... but you surprised me. I can't wait to see the old goat's world rocked by the crazy blonde! (Even though I feel in my heart that Renee and Asa belong together. I just adore their disfunction. It reminds me of my parents in some unhinged way.). ❤️

I always knew there was something more to this character. The fact that they started the entire odyssey with slapping the sh-it out of her in the end of episode 1... meant something. To me at least. I don't know why but I always think of how Bold starts with Brooke opening the door to her mother's home, visibly distraught... and then the intro starts with a bang. You just feel it in your gut right then and there that this girl is going to be someone very important in the story. The same way I felt at the finale of episode 1 with Hayley. It's that kind of "center stage" moment that makes me feel goosebumps.

At this point in late 1992... IMO Alex is an unnecessary circus monkey character that dilutes the quality of the show. I don't know what they'll do exactly with her in the future... even though I just got a hint from a comment above... 😁but there needs to be a loooooot of work done for her to appear as anything closely resembling a human being. Right now she is just a Cruella Devil from temu. Tonja has so much more to offer, she's shown it time and time again. (Even when she overacts there is a desperate vibe in the air... the feeling that she is struggling to make gold out of nothing. It's almost hard to watch.) The writing for her confuses me. It's almost like they want her to fail with the stupidity they constantly give her... but that's just speculation. Who knows. It's bizarre. The editing with the carnival music doesn't help. I think I'll cut a scene like this in the future just to exemplify bad editing and how it could turn actor's performance into a joke... by constantly repeating the same "laugh at this melody" tune. And oh... Mortimer's mother just said to Alex - You deflowered my son! How could you do it... I don't know how Tonja kept a straight face. 😂

Asa and Alex... JESUS CHRIST. WOOOOOOOOOW. I think 1993 will be a wild ride. LOL. I can't wait.

I've been re-watching some scenes and laughing uncontrollably. 😂 It's hard to believe there was a time when I considered quitting this show. We're just three months away from completing a full year... (Yey!) and what a journey it has been. BTG started with such oomph and energy... had a few bumps along the way and a brief lull period where I was falling asleep... and then a certain poisonous-yet-cute woman came in like a shot of adrenaline. Marquita Goings is a legend in the making, remember what I said. In the future, they need to strike a balance between quality storytelling and what keeps viewers hooked and engaged in 2025. It's a challenging middle ground, as sadly... what draws viewers in these days isn't necessarily quality I'm afraid. We'll never see the soaps of the past... but I at least hope for something that is somewhat intellectually stimulating. Better dialogue. That's the least we can ask for. And yes, we should eliminate 2-3 deadweights that are dragging the show down. We don't have the luxury of time for experiments like this. We can't afford to endure absurd acting every single day (and continue giving them lines... writers what are you thinking?!) if we want to retain viewers. We need to cut what doesn't work before... it's too late.

Yep. The show is getting better and better if you ask me. And please LESS of the mob stuff now that he's gone. It's so outdated and stupid... we don't need this in 2025.

Thank God that didn't happen. 40 minutes of Bradley Bell a day would be something not a lot of people could stomach. And also... they wouldn't have these ratings, lol.

Finally finished THAT episode of SLC. I'm so sick of Britani... the perpetual victim... that acts like she is a teen. Bitch you are closer to 60. Sh-t the fu-ck up and go see your child. Ask her how she is. Nobody cares about Jared. And yeah... if the situation was as she was describing it in that plane... Meredith would probably have been escorted off that plane. She's making it out to be this borderline beating up... while she was actually the initial aggressor. YOU DON'T [!@#$%^&*] with a marriage like this, you imbecile. The fact that you can't hold Jared for more than a week at a time is not our problem. Stop being jealous of other women. I'm team Meredith on this one. I know it's going to be unpopular opinion, but I also can't lie and tell you otherwise. And of course the WITCH of all witches... starts trying to blame Lisa for everything. I mean... if Meredith or anyone else kills someone... Heather would you again blame it on Lisa. I think you will. BECAUSE YOU are obsessed with Lisa... and probably in love with her too. You are scary and disgusting.

Exactly. That's why I think we need fresh blood for a lot of these characters. New men/women who they can play with... build something slow with. Bold for example recycles the same triangles over and over and over again... to a point where nobody cares if Brooke and Ridge are together. But just imagine we give Brooke something new, fresh... (maybe forbidden LOL) and hot... and let it go from there. Just an example. I also think Katie is a character that has been long ignored to a point it's laughable. Give her a brand new man. Dollar Bill and she have no future. Heather Tom can play in love so well. She could rock those nuances.

I'm finally up to date. And what can I say... even though the dialogue varies from one episode to the next... and it's not at the level I would want it to be... it's still much better than anything else that wants to call itself a soap opera on CBS. It's exciting... it's fun and the characters are alive. What more can I want at this point? Just for the Hamilton Widow storyline... I'm hooked enough to tolerate Ashley and her idiocy. I would love to see the ratings go up, up, up like they were going for a few weeks without pause. Maybe a little more promo wouldn't harm anyone actually. There are so many moments on this show that could get viral, yet I don't see them uploaded anywhere as clips. They need to work on this more. We live in 2025. People don't know that something exists if they are not constantly reminded of it. That's the junk-food era of scrolling we live in and we can't ignore it.

Katherine Kelly Lang in my home country today. WOW... If I knew she would be there... I would have taken a flight in a second... I HATE that I didn't even know she was going to be there. 😂 I'm so out of touch with news and social media. Ah... but it's such a moment for me. Made me cry a bit. If my grandma was alive... she would be there to see her. My grandma was the biggest Bold fan. All my relatives and family have been calling me today telling me about this. It's a big story in Bulgaria right now. The show used to be the number 1 for years and years and years and to this day there is not a single person I've known who doesn't know who Brooke Logan is.
