The costs to a tennis player will ensure that many of the hungriest (and perhaps some of the most promising) athletes will go to more accessible sports. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why except for a few players, American men have been languishing in the rankings for pretty much a generation. Lord.

Dems demand answers on report that admin tried to trade ObamaCare payments These is seen (with good reason) as an underhanded tactic to gut the ACA. HHS denies that this has taken place. With so many lies uttered by Trump, are those in his administration any less deceptive? Can they be believed? I'm skeptical of their protestations to this accusation. Also, the Kushners are slumlords apparently. Anyone surprised? The Beleaguered Tenants of ‘Kushnerville’

I only got a chance to watch the pilot as well which moved a bit slowly, at times. Most pilot episodes tend to be somewhat clunky, IMO. CBS is so conservative that they save their more risqué shows for online. I'm not even talking about HBO-type risqué, I'm talking about Scandal or ABC Thursday night lineup is what counts as risqué for CBS these days.

Looking at Agim's Twitter feed, led me to Scott Bryce's feed. Bryce mentioned that Steamboat's international distribution rights expired. I only heard about this soap parody as it was being yanked off You Tube (I guess I know why now) but the two webisodes I saw seemed pretty funny. Maybe I'll try to watch the rest. Is anyone watching the The Good Fight? When reading about the series some time ago, I noticed that Bryce seems to be a recurring character on it. I heard it's good but I don't subscribe to CBS All Access.

Denise Darcy would've been a fun character to revive in the latter years of the show. It's likely she would've been out of prison by then. Imagine if Denise returns to Oakdale with yet another ax to grind against Barbara who busted Denise's prison hustle. Then finds out that Hal died and he and Barbara didn't even stay together. Denise might have had an even bigger grudge against Barbara, thinking in her imagination that had Barbara never intervened, she might have had a chance to reconcile with Hal somehow. Of course, that would be delusional on Denise's part but with Denise sitting in prison stewing over lost love, lost opportunities and Barbara ratting her out to the higher ups at the penitentiary, reason would probably be the last thing on Denise's mind when it comes to Barbara. Forget Iris Dumbrowski, I would've much rather have watched Denise try to get at Barbara Ryan. Watching an episode from '86 when Lucinda offers Holden his stablemaster job back (after things fall apart for him and Tad Channing) and Holden promptly tells Lucinda that she can take her job, her $25 dollars raise and air-conditioned room in the servants' quarters and shove them. The look that Lucinda gives him as she chides him for speaking to her that way. Actually the entire scene, there was heat. Lucinda started out inspecting Holden's busted lip and the look she gave him was as if to say "...don't know why I've never had you..." Lucinda had quite the sex drive back then!

Somehow it keeps escaping me that Rick was Kim's nephew as well. I didn't get to see them interact much at all when the character was last in Oakdale or maybe they did but those episodes might not have been posted on You Tube?? But yeah, having Rick would've filled out the Ryan family a bit more. I remember that Rick seemed to have a 'thing' for Emily when he was last in Oakdale. Not to mention there may have been some conflicts with Paul that may have been interesting to see. Rick may not have had a lengthy history but he interacted with enough characters last time around that he would've made a viable character. Too bad. Missed opportunity (one of many) for ATWT in that last decade.

Andre and Boris have history and it is loaded with beef, so it's going to be interesting to see those Nolé- related tweets from Boris from now on. If anything, and I said this ages ago, Boris should've tried to work with Sascha Zverev. Oh well, doesn't look like that will be necessary.

Want? or need? The Saudis no longer provide such a significant source of oil, which is why they've invested heavily into renewables in the last decade. Even they know that fossil fuels are no longer a significant source of revenue generation for their country and they are taking steps to wean the country from relying on it. Can't imagine that the U.S. still relies that heavily on those oil investments. The weapons sales is simple greed, like Jeff Sessions undoing any nascent signs of prison reform that were just beginning to happen just so Trump Inc. can benefit from the recent gains of the private prison industry since Trump's inauguration. Trump's own private Halliburton. Now, if you're talking about strategic partnerships in regards to geopolitics in the Middle East, then I might say, you're cooking with gas there. That's more along the lines of a need. Trump and his Trump Inc. 'business' in the Middle East, well that's a horse of a different color (although unfortunately it is now related do to his position, at this time).
