One of the all-time greats in women's tennis, Doris Hart, passed away on the 29th of May, aged 89. She is one of only three players who have won singles, doubles and mixed at all four grand slam tournaments. (The other two are Margaret Court and Martina Navratilova). During her career she won a total of 35 grand slam titles, which puts her in fifth place on the all-time list (tied with Louise Brough) behind Margaret Court (64), Martina Navratilova (59), Billie Jean King (39) and Margaret Osborne du Pont (37).

In the words of Stephanie Tanner: How rude! They can be grateful but still have no desire to go back and revisit it. We don't know the reasons why they don't want to do it, and frankly it's none of our business. They don't want to do it, and that's their prerogative. Trying to place a guilt-trip on them to make them take part won't work. Maybe they don't have fond memories of that time in their lives and have moved on to a better place.

Yes! In August a new volume of old "Emmerdale Farm" episodes will be released! Volume number 5, with 32 episodes originally screened between December 1973 and March 1974! It's been almost 3 years since volume 4 was released, hopefully it won't be that long this time.

Katie was connected to the Sugdens, and very few people connected to the Sugdens have left the show alive. Most of them have been killed off instead.
