This. Not a chance. I understand why Erin left--she had been on the show since she was 8 or 9 years old. She spent all of her teen years on the show. I'm sure she wanted a break. But it certainly hurt the character of Jessica immensely, and unfortunately, I feel like Erin has been forgotten in a way compared to other long time soap kids like Kristen or KMc on GH (of course, in a way, I would say that happened to Amber Tamblyn once she left GH, too).

I wish Ana hadn't revealed her vote for Hillary so late, and I have no doubt that a lot of her #NeverTrump status has to do with his merciless mocking of her former boss Jeb Bush, but she was loud and proud about her distaste for Trump pretty early on.

He is the real danger, for sure. Yeah, Koster and Kander are getting a LOT of GOP support in MO. Koster--the Dem candidate for Governor--was even endorsed by the NRA, which was a HUGE blow for his Republican opponent, who had an infamous ad where he fired a machine gun.

Eh, MIchael Moore warned people awhile ago about the kind of power Trump might have in this election, to keep Dems from being TOO confident, pointing out how voters like ones in his home state of Michigan, for example, felt hurt enough by the economy to possibly still vote for Trump in droves. ...Of course, like I said, that was back in July. If he's still saying something like that now, after everything that has come out about him this month, then yeah, I'm going to side eye him a little more. (Even though obviously many Trumpsters/Trumpettes out there have only dug their heels in. Sigh.) But the stats of women coming out to vote early warms my heart, for sure. I feel so good about that.

Indiana is not the typical red state. Them going for Trump is not a surprise but despite everything both Bayh and Feingold are popular. Bayh is ahead now by 6% and Feingold by about the same. Maybe they were ahead by more. Combine Indiana with the fact Pence is hated there. There are dump Pence signs all over the state. The new GOPer running isn't remotely tying himself to Pence but the prior Governor who was a GOPer but stayed away from the social aspect of the GOP. Ayotte is not going to win I don't care what kind of media darling she was. Her last couple of weeks have cost her. And Rubio now has been hammered with rallies and commericlals by his opponent and the president and the Miami Herald just endorsed his opponent. PEC has the dems chance of winning the senate now at 79% and I trust Sam Wang a heck of a lot more than Silver. Mitch Daniels-the Governor of Indiana before Pence--is definitely less about social conservatism than Pence, at least publicly. And Bayh, for all of his faults, has both the loyalty dating back to his tenure in the Senate (Birch Bayh was--is, he's still alive!--a liberal lion in the tradition of his friend Ted Kennedy) and the fact that he was most likely Indiana's greatest Governor ever is definitely something in his favor. I was exhausted with him when he retired from the Senate in 2010, but he stepped in when Baron Hill stepped down, when he really didn't have to. I give him credit for that. I really think states like Indiana and Missouri are an example of "wait and see"--Indiana, in particular, has been all over the place in the polls, some showing that Trump is leading with double digits, others showing results MUCH tighter than that; Pence embarrassing the state on a national level with that "religious freedom" (sure, Jan) law playing a heavy hand there. And hey, Hillary has finally put campaign resources in out there. We'll just have to see.

I find it funny that this year's airing of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown--the 50th anniversary airing, no less--is on right before the debate tonight. Talk about a study in contrast. I've always wondered how it's remained red all these years, given it's diverse populace. Same goes for a lot of the South (my home) - this region is more than just rednecks... I've been thinking that. I know Texas has millions of Latinos and white voters who don't vote republican. now as far as Missouri, the rural areas vote overwhelmingly republican.....but St. Louis, Kansas City & Jefferson City Vote overwhelmingly democratic. AND both the MO Senate and Governor's races are VERY competitive--and right now, the Democrats have the edge.

When is the last time Texas has gone Democrat? There was discussion on CNN that a lot of latinos are voting for Hillary in Texas.....in their poll though they have Trump up by only 3%. 1964, for native Texan LBJ.

The lead contaminated soil in poorer neighborhoods in Indiana is every bit as awful as the lead contaminated water in Flint but you wouldn't know this judging by how little press it gets. I know a VP isn't running for President but Pence has gotten the least amount of scrutiny of any VP candidate that I can remember! Not to mention that he was active in closing one of the only Planned Parenthood offices in Southeast Indiana--where I once lived and know several people--and which led to an ALARMING increase of HIV cases in Scott County in particular. And yet I don't think that's been brought up by the press in regards to Pence even once. Disgusting. I mean, granted, there are plenty of OTHER terrible things he's done that HAVE been brought up, however briefly, but still.

Hillary is also putting campaign resources into Indiana, along with Arizona and Missouri. Which doesn't shock me much; Mike Pence is an ass shart who has turned almost EVERYONE in Indiana outside of hardcore evangelicals against him. They didn't want him to be Governor again this year; they SURE AS HELL don't want him to be Vice (de facto) President. It makes me crazy how little some of the despicable things he's done as Governor have been addressed since he joined the ticket with Trump. Even if his path to the presidency is nonexistent now, that [!@#$%^&*] MATTERS.

Regarding the Sarah & Gabrielle friendship above: Now THAT is fascinating to me. That's clearly stuff of Gabby I haven't really seen as much of, because we KNOW how she felt about Megan for awhile, at least until after the latter and Max finally broke up. The scene in 1990 after Max is shot--where the two are holding vigil at his hospital bed--is really nice.

He is indeed related to THAT Bush family. Nice, huh? John McCain has FINALLY withdrawn his support for Trump. His daughter Meghan at least had the sense to never endorse him.

Seriously. That's one reason I've never been a huge fan of her music. I just can't with her voice most of the time. But that's just me.* From what I've heard, though, Jamie Lynn has a good voice. *I will admit to listening her version of "The Beat Goes On" from her first album a lot as a kid. I...made weird decisions as a 10 year old, I guess.

I really don't know what to think of this. I want to be excited, but it could be very, very bad. That's a generous perspective. I think he's such a narcissist he thinks he can make reality what he wants it to be or at least convince the public that reality is what he says it is. Thank god, it looks like you're right and HRC is going to win, but I find it deeply disturbing that he's pulling the wool over so many people's eyes. One very positive thing about HRC winning is that she's getting the last laugh on all of the people who tried to force her into a traditional first lady role years ago. Remember when she made that crack about not staying home and baking cookies? Not long after that she was basically forced to drop her maiden name. I think she even went on some morning show and baked cookies to mitigate the backlash, if I'm remembering right. I hope she says a little silent f*ck you to those people when she takes office. I give her lots of credit for staying the course and making it happen. She actually first dropped her maiden name in 1982, when Bill ran for Governor of Arkansas again, after losing his reelection bid in 1980--she had been known publicly as Hillary Rodham up to that point. In a way, she actually gained it back later on, as she's officially Hillary Rodham Clinton in her governmental titles, even if most people just call her Hillary Clinton now. Meanwhile, Anne Holton, her running mate Tim Kaine's wife, has ALWAYS been known by her maiden name in public*, both in Virginia and now nationwide. Oh, the irony! *Granted, her father being a former Governor of Virginia himself might help her out in that case.

Especially that first photo, BEFORE TAYLOR WAS EVEN FAMOUS. It was a meet and greet photo from one of Britney's concerts, and she was at the height of her career. Of course she wouldn't remember that. The 2008 photo? Maybe, but Britney was just recovering from her breakdown, Taylor was more known to country music fans/young girls than the public at large back then (and only her first album was out then--her second album, which did considerably better, was a few months away), and it may have just been a case of two celebrities being asked to take a picture with each other, because why not? I'm not a huge fan of Britney's music (I just can't get past her voice, more often than not--some can, I just can't), but I have no doubt that she's a kind person who wasn't trying to hurt anyone's feelings. That's just not her.

Here's another story that includes his involvement. I'm stunned that the story disappeared so quickly, and that it really hasn't been brought up since Pence became Trump's running mate.
