Have I mentioned lately that I love Ms. Tracy Quartermaine Ashton Williams Hornsby Solieto Spencer? Cuz I really do. I haven't even seen today's episode, but I love her. Just because. She didn't have to do anything. She didn't have to say anything. I just love her. Nothing more to add. Moving along now. ETA: In The Break Room for a little while. Oh, and I got a YouTube account. Whee, and congrats on your 800th post, MsQ. Thanks for posting Friday's clips--I will download them as possible. I'm downloading your vid as I type (I'm at 78%). Do any of you guys use YouTube? I just signed up for an account, because I wanted a permanent place to post my vids, but I'm having trouble uploading. Also, is there a way to put a message up on your profile? I would like to say something like, if you want a downloadable version of this vid, just email me at...blahblahblah.... (I hate that you can't download vids from YouTube.) So, does anybody know if TQ is on next week? (Read through SOW at the store today--Fey read the part of about Guza saying Luke has "grown to love" Tracy and was like, wow! I'm like, girl, that's yestuhday's news. Read me Guza saying, "Luke has grown to make passionate love to Tracy," then my little ears will perk up.) I'm off--many more business notes to type, and only a few short hours in which to type them. FWIW: I detest our new computer. Writing things to CD is sooooo freaking hard now. I just spent twenty minutes downloading MsQ's vid to the disk, and it's like, "File to be written to disk; click here" and I click and nothing. No file, no place to "write" to the disk. I'm so annoyed.

Super-duper GOODNESS! You are awesome, Nex! Oh, and MsQ, I'm so sorry my fic bummed you out. I did warn you guys that it was massively angsty. I'm not sure why I'm on this downer trip right now--believe it or not, the ending was much more positive and hopeful than I planned it to be. (I really need to see about getting back on my meds. ) ETA: Has anybody already downloaded JE's clips from Friday? If so, would you be willing to post them? Otherwise, I'm just going to try and figure out where they are on GHVT and download them myself.

I am NEVER making another music vid again as long as I live. I'm done. I'm through. I downloaded all those clips. I fiddled and fiddled with the timing. It's FRACKING GORGEOUS. And WMM decides to pull a stupid "For Good" on me and claim I have source files missing. What that means, in layman's terms, is that this video will never see the light of day and all that work was for nothing. I can start from scratch on a completely different file and hope this time the stupid program will work, but I don't know if want to. I am so frustrated I want to kick something. Where's Guza when you need him? Just thought you'd like to see some of the graphics I made for the video you're never ever gonna see...

I missed the Break Room. Still haven't seen the whole episode, but ff'd to the TQ scenes. Oh, that lady rocks my world! She is so fabulous--gorgeous, poignant, funny, tough, amazing. I want her on EVERY SINGLE DAY! LeSigh....... In the Break Room for a little while.

Lulu gets to live. Luke gets to live, because he made our girl laugh so pretty--I rewound. Tracy is the Ultimate of Gorgeousness. Beauty incarnate. I'm in love. I almost felt sorry for Edward for about a quarter of a second. Over it. No time for the Break Room at the moment--we're off to supper. Oh, and while I missed the curls, MsQ, her hair was sooooooo magnificent--fluttery and shiny and thick---LeSigh. She's so purty. We really shouldn't go weeks without a TQ/JE fix. It makes us goofy.

OMG----It's official! I F**king HATE the little B*tch! HATE. HER. NOW. I've been trying to give Lulu the benefit of the doubt, and granted--I do not know the context of the situation because I haven't seen it yet. But I'm furious with her for doing it, no matter the result (desparately hoping this will bring Luke and Tracy closer together as opposed to tearing them apart.) Oh, and if Luke calls Tracy a hypocrite for encouraging Lulu to keep the baby after having an abortion herself, I will destroy him in my fic. I'm serious. He will know no mercy. On a lighter note, somebody on the SZ said they were "fascinated" by Jane Elliot's hair. Not sure what that means, but wow....hair fascination.

Wild, wild goings on in the Break Room last night.....I don't think I've ever seen so many people in there at one time. Even Tracy Quartermaine and Bob Guza showed up...ILTQ, did you ever get the terms of that blackmail straightened out? Oh, and I had to leave and missed the ending of Tracy's story--about how she stopped being utterly repulsed by Luke Spencer. Keith, you seemed to have a good rapport with "Tracy." Could you fill me in? Oh, and BTW, Luke did something very, very wrong in my new story. Wronger than bailling on his daughter. Spanky might really never forgive him.....

AMUSING MYSELF (because we had a potluck and I'm fighting sugar crash) WITH EXTREMELY FAKE SPOILERS Next Week on General Hospital: -Sonny has nothing to say to anyone about anything. In fact, he doesn't even appear in five consecutive episodes, and MB is not on vacation. -Alan discovers he can still perform medicine and carry on a conversation that ISN'T about Sonny, Lulu's pregnancy, or Tracy's sham of a marriage. -Dillon brushes his hair. In a related spoiler, Amelia Earheart is finally located! -Tracy and Luke have a conversation that ends in an uninterrupted kiss. And they mean it. -Patrick Drake is NOT the only surgeon capable of performing a delicate operation. -Monica, Tracy, Bobbie, Anna, Audrey, and Leslie Weber are on a committee together, have a girls' night out, and wind up (in a fit of drunken humor) pooling their money and buying Jake's as a joint venture. -Sam doesn't cry. About anything. -Jason cracks a smile. And means it. -Not one single person cheats on their spouse. Not one single person is carrying the child of an inappropriate father. -Edward says something nice about his children. See, LaineyBev, I TOLD you it was a good story! Hey, ILTQ, I am really toying with the idea of sending the stories. Unfortunately, the realities of printing being what they are, I think a zine of ALL my TQ stories would actually be quite bulky and large when I'm finally done with 100 Situations. Limiting it to just 100 Situations would keep it manageable. Anybody thinking we ought to do a group zine and send it to TG & JE? With each of us choosing one or two of our best stories to include? Just curiuos...

I mentioned this to LaineyBev in the Break Room last night, but I thought I'd share the joy (?) with you all. My coworkers. Are reading. My TracyFic. At work. Well, only two of them, and only the stories I printed out. See, we have this little group in my section who watch GH every day, and discuss at length. One of them, a nice older lady, has seen a couple of my vids and thinks it's really clever. So I sort of "outed" myself as a fanfic writer, and she asked to read some of my stories. I printed "A Brief History of Humanity," "True to the Blood," and "As the Snow Falls," meaning to sneak them to her at the end of the day so she could take them home with her. Instead, she starts reading them. At her desk. And the other girl who watches GH--the loud, aggressive, but ultimately nice one--leans over her shoulder and says "WHAT'S THAT" a la Dee Dee from Dexter's Laboratory. She then proceeds to grab "True to the Blood" out of Linda's hands and start reading at her desk. Luckily, they like the stories and haven't mocked me too mercilessly. In fact, Leah said while reading the Snow story that she thought Luke and Tracy had the potential for being a real, viable couple and that the writers would be idiots to put Luke and Laura back together at this point. I like Leah much more now. Anyway, that's the story of how I outed myself at work. (Oh, don't snicker. They already know I'm gay.) ETA: Did I mention they're strongly suggesting that I print out and bind the 100 Situations when I'm done and send them to Jane Elliot? Uh...huh....

Nex, I'm glad yo uenjoyed the stories. I'm sort of blown away about the enormity of the list, and please remember I'd missed two stories and consolidated all 30 "100 Situations" stories into one entry! As for the "Fall" story, yeah, I was influenced by Guarding Tess, which had a massive effect on my claustrophobic psyche. Add to that the stories I've read of Amazon initiation mysteries, which reportedly included leaving the inititiate in space the size of a coffin for days with only a little bit of food and water. Like a vision quest, only claustrophobically so. The initiates were supposed to come out of the experience stronger and profoundly changed, which I hope I showed in Tracy. My tape ran out today and I didn't get the entire episode. Aw. I'm going to miss more Dillon and Lulu screaming at each other, and Luke pretending he has a clue. Pity.

Lainey, I got your story--was hip deep in my own fic tonight, but saved it to disk and will definitely get to it tomorrow. New Fic on the Ficathon: Prompt #30: Fall I was going to do Young Tracy and Young Larry for this prompt, but the evil bunny from hell attacked my imagination, and I decided to save the Tracy/Larry story for later. This one is dark, angsty, romantic...an AU story where one of Edward's dirty tricks has a serious consequence no one could have ever foreseen. Contains MUCH LuNacy love, so be brave, young readers. Be brave. ETA: Like the banners a lot, MsQ. Number 2 and 3 are my favorite (the blended ones, not the variations). I especially like the Polaroid one, but then, that's always been one of my favorite effects. Nice cropping job on the main image, btw.

I'm in The Break Room for a little while. I have to say, I don't have as much trouble with Luke as a lot of people here, although I think he's sort of out of line. Lulu is really working my nerves now. I mean, yeah, she is in a bad place. But COME THE HELL ON. She... Lied about Georgie and Diego Plotted to break up Georgie and Dillon Callously destroyed the marriage of a boy she claimed to care about Positioned herself to be in the exact right place when his life fell apart Took advantage of him in a weakened state and had sex with him Continued to lie and sleep with him. Got pregnant. Where exactly does she get off with this "poor me" attitude? Yeah, teen pregnancy is horrible, but it's not like she stumbled into it. She stood upright and WALKED into it. As for the freaking stupid ASSININE Enduro Condom storyline, here's a NY Times headline for you: "ELQ CORP CREATES NEW BRAND OF CONDOMS THAT IMPREGNATES WOMEN WITHOUT EVER COMING OUT OF THE WRAPPER!" That's right, because it was the Enduro condom that MADE you break up your supposed best friends' marriage and seduce Dillon, right. Honey, maybe a "defective" condom increased your chances of pregnancy. But if you HADN'T slept with one of your best friend's husbands in the first place, you'd be 100% NOT pregant. I know this may be unpopular, but I'm THRILLED Tracy was not on today. Because if she had, no matter what she said, she would have been lumped in with the "EVIL QUARTERMAINES" and would have had to kick her husband's a##. *grr*

BTW, I need to reiterate what I said in the chat room about the banners, MsQ. Middle Pic is teh purty. Please don't send Middle Pic away. Of course, now that you've told me about the scene it's from, I totally want a clip of it. Mid-Morning ETA: I have been struck by the Plot Bunny from Hell. Much with the angst, much with the drama, Edward, Ned, Dillon, Luke...TracyTracyTracy.....
