I cannot believe there is no Tracy on today again. I want to kick something. Maybe I'll just....menta-fic. (Regency, you slay me with your special words!!!!!) Yeah--menta-fic..... Tracy Q wakes up one morning, bright and happy. The birds are singing and chirping outside the window of her opulent bedroom, and there is a smell of strong coffee in the air. She looks over to the huddled lump on the other side of the bed. He is whimpering, huddled under the covers, a sad, spent husk of a thing, wondering how he ever thought he was man enough to satisfy this goddess of a woman, wishing he was adequate, wishing he'd known, that he'd prepared for the amazing, cosmic force that is Tracy in full romantic mode. But no. He didn't. He was stupid and arrogant, and finally, inadequate. He was a LOOOOOSSSEERRRRR, and while he might have been fun for a brief romantic encounter, Tracy now has better things to do with her life. She puts on her diamonds and couture business attired, flashes his worn-out carcass a dazzling smile, and leaves him there to recover as she heads out to lead ELQ to glory. Yeah. That could work....

NEX! (NORRRRMMMMM!!!!!!!) Your promo video was wonderful! I just loved the music, the clips, the whole idea behind it. Now...would that TIIC had the same idea! LaineyBev, you know I don't think you're young. You and me, we're the old coots on this board. But still--Spanish? Omg! You know what I'd love to see? The foreign language-dubbed versions of Luke and Tracy. I know when I went to Europe, I saw Star Trek and I Love Jeannie dubbed in French, and it cracked me up. I know for sure that the show is dubbed in Italian, because I saw the website for the woman who dubs Tracy's lines. Wouldn't it be hilarious to see a clip of Tracy and Luke snarking--in Chinese? Or Portuguese? Luke would have this deep bass voice (ever notice how they never match the voice like that--a tenor dubbed with a bass, etc.) They tend to do better on the women's voices, though, especially older women. So...to the ladies who were in the break room last night--did anybody else dream of Tracy in the CEO boardroom??? LOL. Lainey, we are such bad bad old ladies.... ETA: MsQ--I saw your comment at the Ficathon that you wanted a Tracy-Dillon icon for your Waiting Room story. Do you have a link to any good images? If so, could you send me the links? I can try to create an icon for you. Also, guys--I printed out my AU story and it's 28 pages long. I'm not even half-way through. This sucker is going to be enormoussss....... Any speculation as to whether we get TQ on this week? Please? (And no FAKE spoilers, Regency. You can only get away with it once.)

Hanging in The Break Room for a little while, if anybody's interested. Oh, the AU fic is coming along swimmingly--I'm up to page 18. It has actual plot and everything. (Don't get used to it, though. I think my brain is falling apart.)

LaineyBev and I have been holding seances to the ghost of Gloria Monty for weeks now, and she promises she won't let such an abomination occur on her show! We believe!! ETA: Just reading the transcript from last night's megachat, and I just have this to say to a certain group of young ladies who thought it would be amusing to conduct a significant portion of the chat en espanol...Haha. Very funny. Next time, we do it in High Klingonese! LOL. Actually, I'm surprised at how much I understand, considering I have never taken any Spanish at all. (One year of high school and two semesters of college French don't really help much...)

You crack me the heck up! Guys, go read this story. It's pure Regency, pure Tracy, pure wonderfulness. I had chills when I finished reading it the first time...and the second time. Oh, and Staci, Keith, Regency, and Laineybev, thank you SO much for the frolick in the Break Room last night. I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard.... After the week I've had, and the drama and BS I've had to put up with, I can't thank you enough for the reprieve that laughter gave me. Oh, and since this just came up, in case anybody's interested, the challenges for the Ficathon are always open to retroactive entries. Deadlines don't mean squat, because Tracy Goodness is Tracy Goodness. Send in the lurve, boys and girls.

Was Tracy on today? ETA: Looks like nope. And, guys, it does our case no good if we're trolling on other threads. Can't we all just please get the frack along? On a lighter note, I have a Tracy-Georgie bunny I might play with while the Angst Gods have their way with my AU story.....

Okay, Tracy SO needs a scene like the one Dorian got on One Life To Live Thursday (I'm talking about covered in powdered sugar, reinacting the kitchen table scene from The Postman Always Rings Twice with a hunky young stud. Or it could be a hunky older stud. I don't care. But if Dorian from OLTL can get a scene like that, Tracy should get one, too! *pouts* I'll be in The Break Room, concocting racy Tracy scenes in my head, if anyone wants to play....

I just read through the SZ watching live post. Do not TELL me there was no Tracy on today. Just a *mention* of her, by ROBERT, to Luke? When they were discussing his very pregnant ex-girlfriend??????? Do not TELL me that they just left her out of today's episode altogether. Tell me a lie if you have to. Make it a creative one. Like, Tracy was on today, and there was this big scene where Alan and she got drunk and recalled the glory days where they were feuding about who would inherit ELQ and now they just didn't care if the whole company got swallowed up by the Atlantic Ocean. Or, like, Tracy was on today, and there was this big scene where she skewered *fill in the blank* in glorious TracyQ fashion, full of righteous indignation and an awesome verbal raking over the coals. Or even, like, Tracy was on today, and she was sooooooo hawt and funny and showed lots of leg and the olives were flowing like wine..... Just do NOT tell me my girl was not on today, okay?

I just realized how incredibly hypocritical my last post was. I have come on this board and TRASHED THE HELL out of characters/actors. I would like to VOW not to trash any characters or actors on this board henceforth, aside from the normal "He/She did WHAT?" posts. The chats, I can't promise anything--heat of the moment, you know. But seriously, if we can't rise above the snottiness they have on all the other boards, how are we any better? If anybody catches me trashing a character/actor on this board, please PLEASE call me on it immediately. Thanks.

Wow, um, don't hold back, ILTQ? I'm not a big Laura fan, but I do like Genie Francis. I am not sure why she's coming back--loyalty to TG, a feeling of nostalgia over the 25th anniversary, or the money. But the fact is, she's coming back and thankfully, has no apparent plans to stay very long. As for Kelly Monaco, I have nothing against the actress at all. She's doing a job, just like the rest of them. In fact, I don't *dislike* any of the actors/actresses because I have no idea what they're like or why they do what they do. I do know some of them are elevated above their abilities by TIIC, but that is just the way things are in Hollywood. I don't mean to be a nag, but I sort of wish we could focus on BUILDING UP Tracy/Jane Elliot on this thread, and leave actor/character bashing to other threads. We all have different favorites here, and different secondaries. Lots of times, the characters/actors some of us LOATHE are loved by people on the list. Carly and Alexis ring clearly as people who get trashed here and on the chats fairly often. I happen to like both, and it's hard to sit by and listen to the bashing of both the characters and the actresses. This board is a great place, and a haven for Jane/Tracy fans. I just wish we could be a little more tolerant of other characters/actors. Even Sonny/Maurice, whom I am beginning to loathe, although he's much easier to take on vacation. There are so many places that are open season on actor/character bashing. I just wish the TQ LoveFest weren't among them.....

I love Tracy. She's on. She's defending Dillon. She's shiny. All is good. Oh...damn.... We have bad weather. We have the potential for tornados in Kentucky. How much you want to bet that the episode will be preempted for weather? *kicks dirt* I'm going to ask my coworker to tape it off of SoapNet for me, just in case.

I now know more about benzodiazepene derivatives (bennies) and their long-term effects than any non-medical professional (or non-drug addict) should ever know. AND I've got the theme from "Valley of the Dolls" stuck in my head. Oh, fanfic, you are a harsh mistress, and my pursuit of your perfection has led me down many a dark and weird winding road. Yeah, ILTQ, Marco Dane is in the story. In fact, I'm 12 pages in and he's in it much more than Tracy. He is by far the most fun I've had writing a character in a long time--heads and tails even over writing Luke, whom I channel with eery abandon. I'm still not sure how I'm going to end this, but I'm having a great time with this fic. Expect length, boys and girls, perhaps even of the Mother Freedom variety. Does anybody know for sure whether Tracy is going to be on today? I mean, Luke's home. Everybody knows Tracy can only exist when Luke is in Port Charles, but he's home. And that means Tracy, right? RIGHT? Come on...*listens to crickets.* She's gonna be on, right?

ILTQ, thanks for posting that link! it was a great post, and I wish to whatever deities are eavesdropping somebody at GH would pay attention. I still think it's scary that JE and WK have more sexual chemistry as Tracy and Ned than they ever did as Anjelica and Justin. (Or maybe it's just that the scene I have -- of the first time Anjelica and Justin slept together - just was sooooo poorly written that even these fantatic actors couldn't salvage it...) Craves more TQ time. Really, really does.

Nex, thanks for posting this. It was on my CD, but I ran out of time before I could get to it. I've finally written another paragraph on my AU story (you know--the one that's sat waiting for a tiny edit for a week while I did everything BUT write?), so hopefully I"m back in gear. Luke comes back tommorrow, right? We can legitimately hope for Tracy, can't we? Cause it would be real nice to see her on my TV screen right about now.....

Oh, MsQ! That TraLu abortion vid was incredible. Just lovely. I liked the background music and the editing. The ending, with Luke's V.O., was very powerful. Downloading Nex's Best of 2005 (and totally missing the computer lab at the moment). I'd done with all the edits, which means eventually I'm going to have to actually write something, dangit. Tracy should be on Wednesday or Thursday this week, right? Right?

I just beta'd two extremely short stories by Regency. As usual, the quality's through the roof. I think you guys are REALLY going to like one of them, and die-hard LuNacy fans will probably...well, Luke really deserves what he's gonna get in the second one. Regency, I sent you an email with general feedback and will send proofed copies when I have access to my files. Great job on the instafic, guys.
