The Samuels are financially sound so Monique would have no challenges walking away from such a poisonous environment. Hate that Gizzard gets what she wants but I'm happy Monique is leaving the trash behind. No good husband should sit back and continue to support their wife working a job they do not need when said job is so harmful to them emotionally.

Nene used her power to have women fired she didn't want around any longer so she is hardly the one to bring a lawsuit against the weapon she no longer possesses. I'm a huge Nene fan but I cannot support her suing the network because she fell from grace. I thought she'd used her energy to move on but I guess I was wrong.

That was quite a twist! Super good show and I hope there's a season 2. If there is a 2nd season, I fully expect to see the cast trimmed. Philppa would be gone and half the Bridgertons. Definitely need to focus on the Featheringtons because I want to know who has their house. Push Portia to the forefront. Polly deserves this! Hell, I deserve this!

BRILLIANT! I only watched the first eppy and I didn't want it to end. It was so good! Love the Duke and the set up to his romance with Daphne. His arrogance is a win and rolling up on horseback in all black certainly didn't hurt. Polly Walker (who should always be on my screen) and Ruth Gemmell are not huge names but they are 2 of the finest actresses in the business. Superb casting as rivaling ladies of their houses! I've been a fan of Polly Walker for years and was ecstatic to learn she was cast. Because it's Shonda, this could very easily [and quickly] go to hell in a hand basket but I really love what I've seen so far. Not going into great detail because I'm hoping you guys will give it a look.

You have to wonder if Jamal ever really gave a damn about Giz. He probably married her to have a pretty woman at his side but there was no loving marriage. He has absolutely no reservations when it comes to humiliating her. Giz needs to have a sit down with Monique and somehow find common ground or she will be out of a job.

@j swift Gizzard had all that coming and it was glorious. Monique drove a stake right thru that vampire's "heart" for the world to see. Gizzard hated Monique from day one and worked feverishly to turn the cast against the woman. Gizzard is still operating off of Mo's first eppy and the words "I have 4 homes". Jealously is an ugly thing and leads to complete and utter humiliation. Just ask Gizzy!
