Drunk Gladys is one of the best things I've seen on this show in a minute! I must've rewound that scene at the garage about 15 times. Laughed till I cried. She is a character this show needs. Some levity when needed. Howarth tries but he's not good at it. I love this character!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was Chris Samuels. Chris loves him some Monique. Has her back and always present. Not many men put their wives before their mothers (as they should) but Chris did. And we all know Gizzard is not above lying about couples because no one wants her sour ass. She was willing to put out a rumor that Chase was not Chris'. So its very possible that Wendy is insulted because she knows what she has and does not want her husband maligned on this show.

And at some point, we move on and wish him well. I believe that is what's happening here.

@Liberty CityI don't agree about annoying Wendy. I think she treasures her husband and family and really does not want to see her man smeared. Robyn still believes she has the same type of relationship with her roommate as the other women have with their husbands. lol While the other women can take that petty rubbish back to their husbands to discuss, Juan was like "I'll holla later". Robyn simply does not mind looking stupid 24/7. LaDame cannot get away with this candle biz. She needs to be called to carpet and good. I like Karen but she may have pulled a fast one on Wendy. I like the hustle but if Wendy is a friend, this is not acceptable! Mia needs to work on being a bone collector because at the moment, she stinks at it.

Hated Ambitious but I'm super happy he's getting another bite of the apple. I don't agree with just about all of his past opinions but he loves the genre.

Carly's part of that scene was perfect. The thing she's wanted more than anything, more than Jax and/or Sonny, is right there and it terrified her. The "thanks for the beer" was played very well. The fail? How in the sam hell did Jason get here? He's always had Carly's back but also treated her like a mild irritant. Jason got with Britt way too quickly but there's really no story there. That was time needed to properly build Jarly in anticipation of Sonny's return. Jason needed so much work before we get to 3 women in a year, especially getting with Carly! The time squandered with Britt was a huge cost. While I'm super happy this is the route the writers have taken because it yields the most drama and mileage, the beats missed hugely overshadow the story. Sonny returning after Nina is not 1/1,000 the fireworks of Sonny returning only to find Carly coming down the stairs in Jason's shirt right into Sonny and shirtless Jason. Full circle! You may be able to get away with skipping beats in other stories but with Mr. Roboto, if you miss just one, the bottom falls out of the story very quickly. The huge leap with Jason is a big problem!
