Days Sting

Has Days ever done a sting where the viewers are not in the know and just as surprised as at the end of the movie "The Sting". I have a feeling there may be a sting going on. It would make sense and be really great if my little glimpse into what could be going on really is instead of just more stupidity. My imagination does take off, especially when something doesn't feel right.

Can you give us some more hints as to where your imagination is taking you? :)

When Bo "killed" Lexie back in 2002 under B&C, viewers weren't in the know. In fact, most people in Salem (besides Jack) were in on the ruse, a ruse that was meant to get Larry Welch to let down his guard and they could find Hope and rescue her. Is that what you mean?

I think this is the real deal. I don't know if they'd try something like that again. The show's in dire straits. It's time for some action - for real.

I don't know if I understand this exactly. Are you all saying that Days is being secretive now and maybe the reason for all the confusion lately involving returns and such is on purpose? Are you saying that Days is trying to genuinely shock the audience now rather then dish everything out in the mags?

I remember that Larry Welch story. That whole month of November under B&C was so secretive. They told no one nothing in the Nov. sweeps previews and the month was amazing. That was the last time Days truly shocked me-I hope they go back to stuff like that. I loved that. From Lisa Rinna's Billie being shot to Bo "killing" Lexie-the whole thing was so elaborate and so top secret it was awesome.

I hope this is where Days is going :) .

I nearly had a stroke when Bo "killed" Lexie.

I missed that. Sounds like great fun. Yes, something like this is what I'm feeling but I'm timid about telling what I feel for two reasons: 1. It could be correct and spoil it for the viewers (you understand) and 2. I could be so far off base that we'd all feel let down if it didn't work that way. I hope I'm correct and it works right. Bear with me and I promise to tell you if I'm wrong when the time comes and it doesn't happen. If it does, we'll all be shouting.

KR, what I'm thinking and you are thinking are far apart.

I'm dying to know now.

Things are a little suspicious, but I have a feeling this is the real deal.

It's a lot of changes going on at DOOL - I do find it hard to believe that all those departures, especially in the young cast, could be happening.

A while back, abrasive agent-pundit Micheal Bruno had a blind item about a soap that would be unrecognizable by December due to a mass exodus. Of course, speculation ran to Days, but one of the frontrunners was OLTL, which had rumors flying about 1/3 of its cast. In hindsight now, I'd think it was DOOL that Bruno had some inkling about.

Well, it's still a far stretch of the imagination but workable. I do hope I'm right as it would be very different than anything seen in a good while.

I think you might be onto something, actually, Jean....

I guess we will have to wait and see. I am, ready for something unexpeced to happen. Days has been dragging lately.

I am still confused

Are you guys saying that all these departures may not be for real (a la SSk) or that the show is putting a lockdown on upcoming stories?

I am so confused  .
