I don't think the show itself is in danger. I do think the show will undergo some behind-the-scenes changes, though.

Will ABC finally dump Valentini? And while I think Korte and Van Etten have (intermittently) done a good job, I think they need to go as well, perhaps. We need new blood, Sonny gone and the cast pared down significantly. I'd dump Frank first and give the current writing staff 9 months under a new EP who will hire true actors (try auditioning in NY and go back and watch Riche and Monty casting choices) not frozen face models (esp the menzzz!)

Well that’s stupid, they included the repeat telecast with GH’s ratings but no one else’s.

Not counting Labor Day - Women 18-49 Rating: - 1.725 and Women 25-54 Rating: 2.6. Viewership/Household data was not available via daily so my estimate would be flat from prior week/prior year.

Looking at last year’s rating post, they didn’t include Labor Day repeats into the overall date.

Factoring 4 days this year to last year: 18-49 flat and 25-54 down 0.1.

Last year 4 days viewership: 1,884,000 and household: 1.2.

This might be BTG's best case yet against airing a week of repeats: tying its second best numbers in each demo for the 25/26 season. Looking at Y&R & Bold's Monday to Tuesday numbers, you can make a case that it could have tied its season highs if CBS scheduled a new episode on Labor Day.

It’s interesting because not just here, but other places online it seems like nobody is happy with the show right now. So they are seeing declines in ratings, very little positive social engagement, and the bts messiness is showing onscreen with all the truncated stories and new cast members. The decisions on who gets featured consistently seem capricious and major audience favorites are all but ignored or in half stories. Sometimes the show’s ADHD works in its favor, like with the fast pace and constant twists. And sometimes it shows how creative choices are being made for the wrong reasons.

Has there been any word on why they underwent all these changes in the last 6 weeks all at once? Was there a mandate to shake things up or was it purely a creative decision from Valentini?
