Damn not only did they kill off Brennan, he’s being treated like a disposable joke.

Really enjoyed Liz/Ric/Portia/Isaiah double date today.

Also have been enjoying Lulu with Ric. She seems so much lighter around him. Not a friendship I had on my bingo card but I’m enjoying them.

The young lady who plays Scout reminds me of someone.

I keep thinking Alanis Morrisette maybe.

McKenna's exit interview is in the Spoilers thread.

I still don't know what Anna/Brennan romance angle he is referring to. I never saw anything like that but I also wasn't watching very regularly in early '25.

There were more hints with Charles Measure than with McKenna, although Finola played so much animosity with his version that I don’t see how it could have been anything that lasted.

That exit interview, including the bts stories he felt dropped from, reads as more upset to me than he is letting on. Maybe he did leak his death!

I could read it either way tbh. I just have never seen Chris as the guy to burn Frank. He's been in soaps and the business for so long.

Everything with Brennan felt made up as it went along to me so I never even considered that McKenna would be told of or assume there were story plans for him. I really felt his disappointment when he said John Oliver took the climax of the story he'd expected to play a part in. I can't see him leaking his own death as he seems to be a professional, but who knows. Either way I wish him the best. I'm glad Erika sent him a comment.

It is something Frank has been known to do since OLTL, lol. Promise an actor a lot of things and then fire them.

Yeah the undertone of something more between Anna and Brennan was always there. Which is why I mentioned it and also mentioned the exact moment that feeling appeared between Brennan and Carly. PM definitely it more layers while these writers played it more like slapsticky Spy vs Spy most of the time. Which I also mentioned. And I discussed a Anna/Brennan/Carly triangle that would make all three relevant at the time often.

-- So the writers had Brook Lynn refer to Bradley Cooper as "what's his name" when she mentioned the Shallow duet with Gaga. Talk about petty dialogue that isn't earned.

-- Chris McKenna must have had his head on a swivel for the past 2 years. Brennan's storyline changed more than the seasons.

-- The entire Trino music story is a DUD.

I'm a week behind but I can't believe they are just sitting around talking about companies now like Y&R. JJE, SRE, even Jason chatting about Valentin wanting back ELQ... now all of a sudden all the criminals want to run corporations... is JG ghostwriting? What even is this?
