I like that they're framing it as 'anytime' as opposed to 'daytime', it's an appropriate evolution but the promo itself seems to mock the genre.

CBS had the best promos BITD. This new promo isn't working for me.

This is like the CBS Daytime summer promos from several years ago -- a mishmosh of old random clips that are supposed to be "exciting". ***

It seems thrown together because the B&B and Y&R scenes are more recent, and the BTG clips are older. "Let's see, what scenes does each show have laying around -- that have already aired -- that we can splice together?"

Karla's singing is nice, so there's that. But it doesn't save this.

*** I remember when Y&R would do that type of "exciting" promo that was random already-aired scenes, and there were several arrangements/variations, but they often included Chelsea screaming when Adam entered the building and it exploded. Like how many times can you put that in a promo?

Seems like they're doing this with Dani at Bill&Haley's wedding, and the golf club in Bill's office.

About the only thing I like from those promos is Eileen Davidson bellowing, "You faked your own death, b***h!".

I'm a little slow (okay very slow) here. Just realized where they got the song title for the streaming era "Anytime Delight" .
I remembered the original song from 50 years ago was called "Afternoon Delight", same melody.

Cheap AF - why can’t CBS just invest more in doing something more professional? They have 3 soaps on their schedule to promote!

So now there's three different "Anytime Delight" promos:
released June 1, July 1, and July 30, 2026. Will they release another Sept. 1st?
I guess CBS is trying to make this their daytime theme song?

In a way it's funny. But....this kind of cheesiness is why soaps have a bad reputation in most circles to begin with. If they are going after the Tik Tok, younger crowd this is not going to get them to check the shows out. Instead, it will keep them from watching.

Sad. Just sad.
