Does Deke remind anyone else of Bad Bunny? At least a relative?

Perfect sense. There is a newfound Victoria-ish backbone to Katie, but there's a vulnerability. Victoria Newman would chew Brooke into small pieces and then spit her out. Katie is more focused on standing up for herself.

I also think Heather Tom is a natural successor to Susan Flannery/Stephanie Forrester. She comes across as a grown woman who can hold her own. It's refreshing from the years of Steffy propping, who is just a wannabe bossgirl throwing tantrums most of the time.

Yeah! There's a scene after the slap where Bill and Katie are talking and Katie has a...hmmm wittiness?...about her that I can't say I see Victoria doing though HT's Victoria definitely had wit which was a nice little tell for me in how Heather Tom played both. It's why I wrote that. I love that. I totally agree that HT's Victoria would have left Brooke a puddle on the floor AND would have slapped her right back. Katie was just standing up for herself.

I agree about that for Heather Tom. If Brad plays his cards right Brooke vs Katie could go on for a long while.

Heather Tom is always amazing, and this is the kind of story KKL must have been dreaming of since Susan Flannery left. She might not be a new Meryl Streep, but she excels in these kind of confrontati

This story is the first time I've felt that HT is actually positioned as a lead. People are surprised when I tell them that HT is #3 in seniority behind KKL/JMcK! KB/SK excluded since they were off fo

Don't underestimate Brooke. After all, she spent 25 years going toe to toe with Stephanie Forrester, who was every bit as formidable as Victoria Newman, if not more.

We haven't seen that Brooke for a long, long time.

True, but hopefully she's still in there somewhere. 🤞

The old Brooke, yes. I don't recognize what Brad Bell has done to her character over the years. She only cares about Ridge now. The final straw for me was when Brooke just stood by and let Ridge talk about Hope like a stray dog. Brooke needs more layers again.

That chartreuse number is atrocious and does not fit the model at all. 😬 For a soap that's meant to be focusing on fashion... they lack considerable fashion sense. And WTF was that music?

Honestly, in watching the original seasons of Bold right now, Brooke seemed very smart in terms of brains. Yes, she allowed her feelings jade her views on some things, but she wasn't allowing a man to walk over her or control her. Now? She's a complete doormat.

I feel for Zende. He's constantly ignored and dismissed. If Bold really wanted to go there, he would question why he's not considered one of the favorites.

On a superficial note, Katie is looking good today. I love that leather skirt.

Yes, that was a real low point for her. When you remember how she stood up against Ridge for Rick's sake, it's hard to believe it's the same character.

Zende could bring up the fact that he's adopted as the reason he thinks he's not being embraced into the family. Then, of course, throw it in Ridge and Steffy's faces that they aren't blood relatives either, so why are they ignoring him?

Side note: Isn't Forrester Creations a huge global company? They really can't work on two lines...couture and Hope's...at the same time? I like the drama that the one at a time is generating, but still...

How I feel as well. Perhaps OLD Brooke. But this one that let a man dog out her daughter? Not so much.

I've always found it more believable when characters come back from the dead than the shows making us accept some of the most basic stuff. Forrester Creations can have more than one fashion line at a time. Also, in real life, what Hope is doing would get her sued. You don't take a sabbatical from your job and secretly join another company. I'll go along with it since this is the most interesting Bold has been in a while. Although I do wish the Deacon, Taylor/ Sheila hadn't been shoved to the backburner.

Zende could really be a power player if the show cared even a little bit.

YASSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Deke's preview model show showed a cohesive set. That's bolds well for the forthcoming fashion showdown.

I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed him at work. And then the growing Logan crew! I even like Katie being all encouraging. I hope they do not rush this Hope reveal at all. I even wonder how this could layer into the young set with Will and Deke at Logan and Electra and RJ at Forrester with Dylan in the middle.

Speaking of the middle...yeeeah, I too see spark with RJ and Dylan. Not surprising since they are the strongest acting-wise of the young set. My question is...who is gonna to get jealous of the growing connection first...Electra or Will?

Hehe at Brooke being so oblivious as her world is about to be blown up.

C plot done by Remy's phone call.

That was a neat little episode. And I wouldn't mind that song during the preview runway walk.

-- I'm willing to roll with nonsense about fashion houses under the "It's A Soap" banner, but I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with the pile-on of riciculousness.

-- Why isn't Hope working? All she does is talk about Steffy being angry. It's all about keeping the secret -- while Deke is at home drawing designs.

-- Why do we hear Forrester say "When we're done with couture." Design houses don't take time off -- the next season is always on the table. FC constantly acts as if they can't do Hope's line or any other line while working on couture.

-- Why are we told this is Forrester's most expensive line ever? Is Eric using materials and processes that no one else uses and has never seen? Because those gowns paraded today were nothing special. They weren't ugly, but nothing about them stood out in any way.

-- Wat are they doing with Zende? They're drawing a difference between the treatment of him and the white guys whether they intend to or not. We were told today that RJ has been working day and night on the collection. HUH???

-- It's all worse to see Carter playing the Black guy who's tap dancing for The Man. I don't believe for a minute that any real issues here will be addressed.

-- So yes, the show has been better, but I am really frustrated.

It must be when he is shirtless with nothing else on while flirting with what's her name.
