Solid start to the month of June. I am very happy that the Shadow Room set has found its way into Genoa City. It feels like a classic The Young and the Restless set that I do think we will get some solid use out of (unlike the tacky Jazz lounge and Society).

I am in agreement with Jack; I would love another Abbot girl in the mix. Maybe even possibly named in honour/memory of Colleen?!

Not understanding why anyone would want to trigger Matt Clark's memory. Surely it would make more sense to take him down while his memory is lapsed, no? 😬

Love that Noah has had the time to find a location and have an LA bar replicated in GC. All this while the Matt Clark drama plays out. A very resourceful young man.

Definitely took a page from Grandad's playbook, who manged to build a replica house w/.o anyone knowing.

When that set first appeared, I suspected it would find it's way back to the show. Rather like Cane's train.

Hope this business does better than Noah's last venture -the Glum, sorry Glam Club.

It's a nice set -but will it take the place of another? Will we not see the Jazz Club for example?

It also means even more characters meeting up in public.

Build a house or office set, please!

Is this bar set exactly the same as the bar in LA, or just similar? If it's exactly the same set, then this is ridiculous writing. Totally unbelievable.

-- An exact replica of the original Shadow Room is ridiculous (especially with what's been going on with Noah) but I'll take it.

-- Since Josh Griffith gave an interview and said that Matt Clark is absolutely redeemable, it wouldn't surprise me to see Matt running the place in 6 months 😂

-- I personally don't think Matt Clark is redeemable, but the awful Josh Griffith is writing this show, so there you have it. I knew he was enamored with Roger Howarth.

-- I won't be surprised if the jazz club set gets dumped, but I actually like that set. I don't think it's tacky at all.

--Cane's train is much diminished from the set we saw when it was introduced. We're not getting any of the larger train areas.

-- Billy and Sally are better than Sominex. My God.

hope they wouldn't do that. I mean it's the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge, with his picture on the wall. It would be very disrespectful of the show to get rid of that set.

I don't think that set will go, it just won't be used much at all.

Maybe put up and used for a few weeks if necessary. The days of sets being used regularly are gone.

When was the last time we saw

Nate's penthouse?

Lily's penthouse?

Most characters are homeless.

the interview is now on spoiler thread here.

Did we really need a multi-clip flashback montage of Matt Clark memories (and horrific acting by Sharon Case)? Roger Howarth is doing his best to make this work. He really is. But Josh Griffith is not going to make fetch happen. Not in this case. I was enjoying this storyline up to this point. Now it is dragging on. Again, instead of triggering his mind, they should have thrown his ass into jail. Or at least in the dungeon where Jordan is/was.

I do appreciate, however, the history play between Adam and Sally. That is something that has been toyed with but never fully explored in recent history. And I hope it is history that is played up more, especially where the loss of Ava is concerned. Just hope she does not pop up twenty years down the line, alive and being held hostage by some wayward aunt.

The come-to moment with Phyllis and Victor was nice. However... it just feels like Griffith is trying to reintegrate the character back into the canvas in a more positive light.
