Frankly, she shouldn't have gone there, and neither should have Mal Young. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: stories about dementia, or any other terminal illness, do not belong on daytime. For one thing, they're depressing. For another, because you know at the start how the story will end, you're basically watching somebody die, and then what?
We all can agree that Ron Carlivati would be a terrible choice for JG's replacement, but let's be real, folks: who else is there? TPTB won't invest anymore in new talent, and everyone else with HW'ing experience has either died or left the business, with no desire to return.

Yeah, chances are, most who still write for soaps but who aren't HW's are happy not to have to deal with the level of network interference that comes with being the HW.
So, in the end, I think it's either Ron or its Chat GPT, lol.
