I am a firm believer, even on GH, of having normal, everyday people stories and characters. Even in the Monty era you had Lesley and Bobbie as leads in grounded material. And not just the Quartermaines with all their wealth, but actual people that were more real. So I would have no problem with Liz/Dante to be honest. My problem is the show doesn’t give a damn about either character. Leslie and Bobbie were leads.

I think with the current issues of income inequality having different socioeconomic characters should be a great place to generate conflict and stories. But that’s not Frank. I think he is a talented EP and director who needs to move away from some instincts honed by learning from Paul Rauch. That includes lighting as well!

Yeah. The problem is I don't think FV has any interest in giving either anything else. They are not a priority for him unless they can service actors he cares about, and as for Becky all the OLTL guys are gone.

I am not sure how Joss differentiates between Sonny and Jason. Sure, it was Sonny's fault that Jason got into to the business, but he's a 55 year old man now and could have left several times. It's odd the entire blame gets thrown on Sonny, but Jason is Joss's confidante.

The Carly/Valentin stuff I think we all called months ago. Whatever.

Maxie's reaction was a bit OTT today. Lulu told her the truth and Maxie acted like she actually caught them having sex on her desk or something. Nathan and Lulu are being super transparent about this, which is no fun and makes everyone's reaction seem much more dramatic than it should be.

I actually enjoyed the Gio/Emma/Kai/Trina scenes. It felt like real friends hanging out.

I actually thought the show would build up Valentin/Carly longer too. The whole thing feels weird. They don't work for me at all. I hope Brennan walks in on them banging and has a heart attack or something. Clearly, I am starving for any kind of drama right now lol.

-- I'm good with a Liz/Dante pairing. I need more than "Frank won't give them anything to do" to hate the coupling. If they're talk-tos as singles, they can be talk-tos in a relationship.

-- Trina sounded good to me. Was the solo odd? Yeah, but that's not on the actress, who has a good voice. I've heard SO much bad singing on soaps, and complaining about Trina is odd to me.

-- Eden McCoy has been good this week, but she's been dialed up to 10 for two days in a row. I need a little balance.
