Andre calling out Bill on his nonsense and putting him on blast, bring it!

I promised myself to be more caught up and participate more in the BTG threads in 2026 lol.

Have to the moment between Andre and Bill was great with Andre telling Bill off.

Meanwhile Tomas eavesdropping on Haley was classic.

Today's episode was excellent and you could really see the growth in the production overall. I don't want to hear any nonsense about who wrote the breakdown, this entire episode was a success and I give credit to everybody involved!

We got a good variety of scenes starting with Dani/Nicole bonding which is always going to be a highlight. I also enjoyed Kat, Chelsea and Naomi. Naomi's unraveling did wonders to helping us understand why she sometimes reacts to things the way she does. I also am enjoying Kat taking accountability and trying to be there for her family. The Ted/Andre scenes were great and I loved seeing Andre encourage him to repair his relationship with Carlton.

The Ashley/Naomi scenes were fantastic! These two have great chemistry and Ashley works so well outside of Derek. I hope they get it right with this new love interest they were teasing. I thought we were in for standard office scenes at Bill's office but I loved the shock of Tomas overhearing Hayley's scheming. I wonder where this is going to go: Is he going to investigate Hayley? Confront her?

The highlight of the episode were the Bill/Dani/Andre scenes towards the end. Karla Mosley has insane chemistry with both actors and they seem to have fallen into a very nice triangle. I hope they play this for all it's worth this year! I still don't know which couple I want.

The slight changes they made to the writing staff definitely have improved things. The pacing is great and the show feels so settled in. I'm getting excited to see what's to come! This was an excellent start to the week.

LOL!! Nooooo! LOL!

So far the characters viewers have complained about the most have seen changes. Derek downgraded and Ashley is more supporting. Tomas could end up taking a nasty fall courtesy of Val, lol. "OMG Bill! I heard a loud crash and when I rushed in all these heavy file boxes were on top of Tomas!".

I'm fine with this show getting rid of Carlton any day now.

He's boring and uninteresting, and the make-up session with Ted didn't work for me at all.

I know bro code is a trope, but come on. You lose the love of your life, you best friend steps in, and a couple months later "We're good"? No.

I think the actress that plays Ashley is actually pretty good, but the writing just hasn't been there for the character and everything with Derek didn't work. Hopefully, they'll be able to figure out a way to use her effectively. I wish we could have found out that she was Joey Armstrong's daughter, and her mom has been keeping it a secret. It would be a way to bring her into the broader story.

I'm SOOOOO ready for Hayley to actually put the next stage of her plan in action. I, too, felt like things have been in a rut for a bit. I'm hoping these are good signs of what's to come.

Jen Jacob is a solid actress. She really is.

A couple of months later? Carlton started making a move almost immediately. He let it be known he was interested while they were still separated

That part was a stretch. No man is ever going to talk to his best friend if said best friend moves in on his former wife. Bro code or not men just don't operate that way. Even women don't forgive and forget that sort of thing.

Didn't help that Carlton literally insinuated that he had a thing for Nicole the whole time.

I have not been a fan of Carlton from the beginning, so he can go and it wouldn't bother me. I want Nicole with a rough around the edges guy. She is uptight, Type A person, she needs someone that plays contrast to that a bit. Not a Joey...I don't mean a criminal.

Yeah, I realize that. By "a couple months later" I meant the passing time it took for Ted to forgive Carlton.

What Carlton did is such a betrayal and nothing can convince me Ted would play the bygones be bygones card.

She's really not, she's barely on par with Jordi, so they'll mesh well together lol
