Hayley and Randy again met at this corner spot? And their criminal friend met them there?

This is so bad. We didn't even get the pretend coffee cups.

They’re all pretending not to know each other but literally do their best to have hour long conversations at the 3 public places EVERYONE in town goes. Haley might as well invite them to the country club at this point.

A car or an alley would work just fine.

It's just ridiculous, and not what I want from this show.

-- Today's show was OK, but nothing special.

-- I still feel like we're getting more threads branching off from present storylines without getting any movement or resolution on anything.

For months, Leslie's obsession with Ted was everywhere. Now she seems over him and talks about how he played with her emotions. Now she's chasing someone else.

The heavy, ridiculous anvils of the Vernon and Sharon secret have been dropped for weeks and weeks, but now we're just getting forever and unyielding love between Vernon and Anita.

Bill shape shifts constantly. He's tough and he's soft. He's smart and he's gullible and naive. He wants a young hot wife and he wants a baby. He is over Dani and he's not over Dani.

I don't mind any of these happening, but I do need some movement/resolution once in a while before throwing in another personality change or plot device.

-- Derek and Ashley broke up? Now what? Nothing. Naomi and Jacob had serious arguments over having a baby? Now what? Nicole 2.0 is now an ice princess who doesn't know she's sending signals to multiple men? Now what?

-- Don't get me wrong. I think there's a lot there with every one of those examples. I just need something to happen before more story threads are pulled.

"I swear if you're trying to get out of St. Bart's!" was when I really understood the Kristen DiMera comparison. That's definitely how Kristen would snap at somebody.

Bill pisses me off so bad with these walks down memory lane like he didn’t cheat on Dani their whole marriage then married his daughter’s best friend. Like please give it a rest.

Sign me up for some of the new romances.

Ted has no game at all but he and Shanice have major chemistry.

Leslie and Marcel as two evil hoes finding love works for me as well. Leslie needs someone who isn’t a law abiding citizen to match her and Marcel’s murdering ass is perfect. And they def have chemistry and unlike Ted, Marcel actually comes off like he’s interested.

I think Bill's waffling makes sense for who he is as a man. He doesn't know what he wants, or more accurately he knows what he wants back but can't process and admit it.

I do agree Ted and Shanice have major chemistry but I still really like Ted and June.

I think Leslie needs a much better class of bad dude than dusty-ass Marcel but I'll allow it for now.

Is Orphey Gene’s paying Samantha? Is there no manager around to tell June your kid doesn’t get to just work here because you do? Why are customers not batting an eye at this random teenager with no uniform bringing them Their coffee and food?

She looks 30 so they let it slide, while also ignoring the fact this probably violates some labor laws considering June is just an employee and not the owner and I don't think Samantha is actually employed by Orphey's herself.

My thoughts exactly. Hayley must be the best con in the world that she sends suapicious texts, makes phone calls, and meets in public spaces with her accomplice while having incriminating open conversations with all these people around. I had to laugh when Hayley got annoyed at Lynette for saying "Val" at the outdoor Cafe, but had no issue with Lynette correcting herself to say Hayley and then proceeding to say how Hayley conned some old man. I was like what? In this case saying Val would have been preferable, because if anyone walking past heard they wouldn't know Lynette was speaking on Hayley.

Didn't we see the outside of Leslie's apartment when Kat snuck in? They can make that an alley or something.

I don't love how they played it. If this was the intention all along, it doesn't feel that way. Bill would talk about Dani with utter disgust in the early episodes and while feelings do evolve, it didn't feel like a natural we are going through a bitter divorce and I hate you right now. It came across like he couldn't stand that woman anymore. Also, he was the one that compeletely wronged her throughout their entire marriage. He cheated multiple times. Yet now we are supposed to believe he has woken up. I feel like there needed to be a bit more balance in this story.

I’m assuming the show wants us to think because of Chelsea’s kidnapping he got over all of his feelings of disgust and contempt for Dani. I have not forgotten one of their first walks down memory lane where he completely embarrassed her at the end of it. It just rings hollow that now that she’s happy, he just regrets his repeated behavior throughout their whole marriage.

Yet, I can totally buy Bill not wanting Dani to be happy with someone else so suddenly he wants her attention on him again. He can totally be that guy. However, the way they are playing it, it's as if he suddenly remembered all this love he had for Dani inspite of decades of cheating and destroying his family for his daughter's friend. Yet as you mentioned, he was completely awful to Dani months leading up totally this, so it makes it hard to believe.

As the saying goes, "You never miss the water until it's gone". And Bill was fine as long as Dani was a disaster and pining for him, but her having a younger husband has him unsettled.

Ain't that the truth!

Regarding Bill and Dani, I believe that once they "reunite", he will cheat again with a younger woman. It's inevitable. He can't keep it in his pants. Even poison won't teach him a lesson. However, we know that Dani is willing to accept this as long as the other woman isn't someone close to her or the family. She has said this herself. We know she gets triggered by the public humiliation part more and not so by the affair itself.

I think it would be unwise for the writers to pair Dani and Bill next year like I've seen some people expect or even want. It would feel too soon, but... they've also been rushing things since the very start. In just one year, it seems like we've seen glimpses of a decade's worth of storylines that could have benefited from longer... beat by beat... proper development instead of the "shocking" reveal or twist of the month we got instead. Just "The Articulettes" storyline could have gone 2-3 months longer if done right and given Tamara Tunie so much more material.

Talking about Anita... I'm going to share my unpopular opinion... that is... I dislike the direction the show appears to be taking with her. It feels too early in the game for this storyline, especially in their first year and around their first Christmas. I don’t want to sound cynical, but I’ll most likely stop watching BTG for a brief period if this topic continues coming up during the Holidays. I lack the energy for something so dark and depressing. I understand that it's a very important topic and it will benefit women to show a good example (going for regular for check-ups, early prevention and etc)... but I would have done it after the Holidays.

Of course, I’m still unsure where this is headed, but my immediate reaction was - oh, no, not now, please. I lost my grandmother, the person who basically raised me... to this wicked disease and I just can't take it around Christmas. That's just me. Maybe I'm too scared to face the reality. Maybe I need to see this more than anymore, but I can't.
