Just for an example - the official TikTok account has 23.6 thousand followers... yet they have uploaded only 15 new clips in the last MONTH. I MEAN... SERIOUSLY. Some may say we don't need people from TikTok since it's a junk place... but I DON'T CARE as long as they make the ratings go UP and the show does better.

You are absolutely right. No other evidence as to the power of Tik Tok than to look at the ratings resurgence of Dancing With the Stars. SO much of the credit there goes to social media like Tik Tok and Instagram. I am stunned that BTG isn't using these platforms.

-- Just started watching today's show, but Anita spends more time at the hospital than the doctors and nurses.

-- The secrecy between Vernon and Sharon has now moved into the ANNOYING category.

YES! And... 15 clips in a month... when you already have thousands of followers who can like and spread the clips (the moment couple of thousand like it, it will start popping up in other people's feeds too)... is absurd. It's like a miniscule drop in the ocean. Just hire one guy who knows how to do TikTok... give him a normal salary and get him to upload clips and moments from every single episode... short clips... memorable scenes... bitchy moments... funny lines... They could make up to 10-15 little short clips an EPISODE, not that amount in AN ENTIRE MONTH. I've seen people's businesses go from 0 to a 100 just from using TikTok. They are doing the same thing on YouTube too. Like 1 clip a day. NOT ENOUGH. Their promo people need to start doing something! Add to that the strange way they did repeats without announcing them... with most people finding out from here or their television... I'm like... You guys need to think this through more.

I concur; it also felt nice to have an event that was not uprooted by drama, etc. It is not always needed nor necessary. It's nice having a holiday-centric event with the majority of the cast (contract/principal guest) and not having things go awry.

I would agree if we didn't just have a Thanksgiving episode that was drama lite and nothing of consequence happening on this soap for what feels like a long time. November Sweeps was spent talking about Winterfest. There was so much build and weaving of details leading up to this event that it seemed like something would culminate, but in the end, nothing happened. All those cast members together for what? To tell us how amazing this event is and how cool Santa's Workshop and the ice skating rink were that we don't get to see.

Everyone saying it was nice that the Winterfest didn't have any drama need to go watch a Hallmark Channel and not a soap opera LOL

I truly think the Winterfest was a mutual event that MVJ and Guza came up with in order to resemble the Nurses Ball on GH.. but with Guza gone and his replacement being hired without proving themselves... it just became another ho hum event... just like Thanksgiving and that fashion show earlier this year.

I agree. It felt very anticlimactic. I would forgive these types of things if the show was in their tired 20th season... but it's YEAR 1... COME ON.

All true.

We're not doing the show any favors by praising disappointing events that were built up like crazy. "It was fun and festive"? Really? That's what we're accepting now?

I can rip Y&R every day for the garbage they're feeding us. I don't because right now I don't care about Y&R at all. I do care about GATES, and that's why I'm calling them out. If you disagree, that's fine, but I don't think this kind of stuff builds an audience or keeps an audience around.

If you look closely at the ratings, Y&R is in a continual loss pattern -- and that's a show where many viewers are there out of habit. BTG doesn't have that habit viewing hold yet. It's too soon ro settle for "Well, at least some of the dresses were cool."

I'm someone who likes holidays to be what they've given us thus far.
