To be honest all I remember that is that his character Travis was a hot lay and a good relationship for the normally uptight Victoria Newman.  He was good for her, and got her to laugh, and it was disappointing when he was written out of the show.
I thought Michael Roark did a good job.

Michael Roark was great on Y&R, and I thought it was a huge mistake when they got rid of him. I did not understand it, especially since Amelia Heinle has never been a chemistry magnet. They were really good together.

He's aged a bit, but is still very good-looking. I'm glad to see him on DAYS.

-- I know they have to somehow attach Stephanie's story to this ridiculous damn book, but if her memories of Jeremy are SO bad and SO traumatic, why did she write that into her book in the first place? It makes no sense to me.

It’s always fascinating how some fans expect Theo to simply move past being shot, yet insist Sami should never have forgiven EJ. The way we measure pain and redemption seems to shift depending on whose story we’re watching.

The “just get over it” rhetoric doesn’t hold up under scrutiny. Yes, Theo made peace with JJ and even worked alongside him in South Africa. But he’s also been clear: JJ’s immediate return to the police force felt like a betrayal. Expecting a victim not only to forgive their shooter but to endorse their career choices without hesitation? That’s a strange standard to set.

I’m not calling out any one post. This is more a reaction to a particularly tone-deaf Facebook comment. But I genuinely don’t understand why the distinction between forgiveness and unconditional support is so hard to grasp. They’re not the same thing, and they never have been.

I agree COMPLETELY. I wouldn't blame Theo if he NEVER forgave JJ. That would make perfect sense to me.

And then we get this insane scene during the blackout where JJ practically accosts Theo for being out? What? That was ugly.

Poor Thomas.

He brought up a lot of good points to Chad today and I completely understand why he's so upset. The actor did a pretty good job too. I'm still not sure about them making Jennifer the spoiler for Chad and Cat though. Her anger is totally justified. And if Days is going to take this route with her, hopefully it'll be more subtle than what they did with Eve. Not including an obvious bias against a character is always the right move in storylines like this.

I also enjoyed Steve, Kayla and Jennifer's trip down memory lane and how it was tied into the opening of the free clinic and Jennifer's article for the Spectator. But like every Brady Pub scene, the background music kinda messed it up a little 😂

And now that Stephanie and Jeremy have had the chance to discuss their history, I'm interested in seeing where the two of them go from here, along with their storylines and the characters that they're involved with. Jeremy is still mostly a blank slate and there's so much that they can do with his character. I wonder if he's going to be paired with anyone. But I agree with Stephanie: it is kinda hard to picture him in a classroom, regardless of his history lol

I hope Greg Vaughn going to BTG means that Eric and Nicole's marital problems in France are no longer cannon.  Just let them be happy in the City of Lights.

The scenes of Steve and Kayla talking to Jennifer regarding forgiveness was excellent.

Jack Raped Kayla
Jeremy trafficked people.  They are Hortons. So that gets a pass?. The judgment from the Hortons is so hypocritical.

Finally we got back to having some good drama again! Michael Roark is giving leading man, and for him to be playing a Horton, is just icing on the cake. Melissa Reeves shone in her scenes with Steve and Kayla. I hope the rest of the week is this good.

I keep hoping Cat and Rafe will develop more genuine friendship chemistry. They’re constantly trading personal confessions in that cramped little office, but the scenes rarely build toward camaraderie. We’ve seen the actor handle lighter moments well.  His work during the Arnold storyline showed he can lean into playful beats. And while I like the idea of Cat’s quirky peanut butter and licorice habit, the execution feels more like a character sketch than a lived-in trait. If they were given space to joke around and solidify a platonic work rhythm, those scenes would feel more grounded. Right now, Rafe mostly serves as either the exposition dumper—or the one being dumped upon.

As for the Stephanie and Jeremy scene, there’s a subtle retcon worth noting. And I’m not just referring to the fact that their shared history was almost twenty years old. Back then, Steve played a key role in exposing Jeremy’s illegal operation. So when Stephanie says her parents had “limited awareness,” I assume she’s referring specifically to the emotional toll and abuse she experienced; not the broader facts of Jeremy’s criminal activity. But Steve has known about that part for decades, so the phrasing felt a little off.

Lastly, just to clarify: Kayla, Steve, and Marlena don’t live in the same building as Jada, Alex, and Stephanie, correct? The establishing shots suggest otherwise, but I’m trying to keep my mental map of Salem somewhat coherent.  I'm also trying to recall if Mike ever lived with Tom and Alice.  Because, it's a bit of a stretch to assume that Julie would let him bunk in the Doug3 suite.  Even Gwen figured that out quickly.

So now Jeremy Horton is back.  Finally we have a male carrying the Horton name on the show again. But he's in his early 40s with no wife, and apparently no children.  Big mistake.  Why not bring Jeremy back with a wife and four kids?  This show pays a lot of lip-service to the Horton family, but TPTB seem unwilling to take any actions that might actually grow the family with characters who can carry the Horton name into the next generation and even beyond.  If the Horton name is going to survive on DOOL, TPTB need to start focusing on at least a few of the male members of the family.

If they were going to bring back a Horton ex for Steph it really should've been Nathan.  He has existing familial ties to Maggie, Sarah and Holly aaand we never learned who his father is so there are different story threads you could pull there, too.  Plus, guest appearances from Melissa fit a little better into the current canvas than Mike.

But that may be a reminder that this Stephanie bears no resemblance to who she was during the Philip/Melanie/Nathan era, which was, by far, when she was the most interesting.  I think that Abigail Klein is very natural and likable, but this very generic, kinda perfect Stephanie who all the boys fight over is such a downgrade from Higley & Whitesell's self-sabatoging tragic vixen that Shelley Hennig left as.

I'm guessing that they brought Jeremy back as single without a family so that he could be an interloper for Alex/Stephanie for a while and if this version proves popular enough, he might end up getting paired with someone down the line. If he just crashes and burns for whatever reason, I won't be surprised if he ends up gone in a year or so. Time will tell, of course, but so far I'm not entirely convinced that he's actually changed.

Scott Banning is another possibility. He's Julie's grandson. But yes, having a male Horton on the show is a good move.

Patty Weaver could appear as Trish as she's returning to Y&R as Gina, so possibly open to an appearance.

Imagine a Julie/Trish flashback!

I'm still holding out hope that a college aged son (and possibly an ex-wife) get introduced at some point, like you said just to keep the family name going.

And also, to give Holly an alternative to Tate 😂

Idk.

Julie having her 60 year old grandson on the canvas might not be the best move 😂😂
