Yeah, I wasn't sure if that was still the case.  I still don't understand the Australian's MAGA stances since he's not even a citizen in any way I can tell.

It is baffling to me how embroiled he is in American politics; he has been a legal immigrant since 1994 when he moved to the States. I could say more but it would not be politically correct.

Same.  Since he's been in this country for 30 years I assumed he became a citizen at some point, but you think Ingo would have celebrated that.  I think he's a dual citizen of Germany/Australia so he may not want to give one of those up.  Perhaps he's just very involved because his kids are citizens, but I don't pretend to know what goes on in that man's mind.

He could definitely give advice on how to tank a successful soap career though lol.

And then Steve Burton, on the opposite spectrum, can give good advice on how keeping one's mouth shut has its benefits. 🤣

Really good episode today. Great to see Ned and Tracy plotting, just like old times. And I love how they're bringing out more of Michael's Quartermaine ruthlessness. Although I have no use for Jacinda, those scenes with Michael, Nina, and Ava were great. Rory has been playing the brooding "dark Michael" well, but it's nice to see this different side of him and the smug smile on his face as he spars with Nina.

I definitely agree!  Not that I knew how Michael was from the other actors portraying him, but I really like this current actor and character.

I didn't realize MEK (Martin) was playing a villain! Well, many of the characters on this show seem to be villains haha, but I just assumed he was a come and go attorney.

So, is this Ronnie working with Martin thing just another Frank Valentini dream come true? When Tad met Viki 😂😂

I have mixed feelings about Jordan ratting out Portia to Curtis though because it's none of her business lol but at the same time, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next for them and Isaiah. I haven't been this interested in the four of them in a while.

I am half surprised the show didn't make Miranda Cody's mom because they actually had a murky backstory and Miranda could have easily faked her death because she was pregnant with Mac's baby and not Jax's.

I could imagine Frank thinking she's part of the Sonny/Brenda/Jax triangle in the 90's and people will like that lol.

Miranda is such a blank slate that you really could do anything with her. This would have been so much better!

I don't think Martin has any set personality. For long periods of time, he was some kind of quasi-comic relief, with a Foghorn Leghorn accent that the show had him take classes to magically get rid of.

Lol!  You really could do anything with her-even give her the Cassadine past that was heavily hinted.  I know the audience probably isn't clamoring for a Miranda return and she hasn't been mentioned since 1997, but it was a bit of a dropped story between Mac/Miranda that could fit the timeline better.  Plus, it's not like Leslie Horan set the world on fire in the part, so you wouldn't have any real constraints on casting.

Cody’s mother being Dom is just another example of shallow nostalgia they throw at longtime fans. Since they killed Cyrus and Laura didn’t even get to do it, what was really the point of her birth father’s other children? Jagger? Jackie Templeton being Chase’s mother? The return of Pickle-Lila, twice? Jimmy Lee Holt’s dead and here is his soon to be dead son Austin? The visits and references to Loving’s Corinth? Re-naming Jake’s the Floating Rib? Mentioning Erica Kane? Ava Jerome’s mother being Delia?

It’s history used in the most shallow way possible, and I hoped when Ron left it would go away but instead I think it got worse!

Meanwhile one of the nods to history I would have kept (Kelly's) they got rid of.

So many of these ties just feel meaningless. I know people hate the OLTL crossovers but I tend to prefer some of those (or ABC crossovers in general) if they can have some current story with current characters. I don't know any story purpose for having Jackie Templeton as Chase's mother or a dead Jimmy Lee Holt as Austin's father.

At least I could say trips to Corinth were nice for me and one or two Loving/GH viewers...no idea who out there would want to hear Jimmy Lee is dead but here's his son, who looks like two rapists.

-- I haven't had much use for Michael E Knight on GH, but he was really good in those scenes today with Erika Slezak.

-- I like Chris McKenna. Solid actor and comes off as a good human. But with Carly? McKenna just has no chemistry with Laura Wright.

-- My biggest laugh today was seeing Anna sit at her desktop computer and type "Jenn Sidwell" into the Spyder search engine. Seriously? This woman has this high-level and powerful position, she knows all about the WSB, and her research is reduced to Googling??? 😂
