Although episodes of “Beyond the Gates” had been available to view as an On Demand option with only four episodes available at a time after a one week delay from originally being broadcast on CBS, Pluto TV, the FAST (free ad-supported television) service owned by Paramount, announced on Thursday that it has formally launched a dedicated channel for the daytime drama series which allows fans new and old to watch the soap opera live 24/7.
The dedicated “Beyond the Gates” channel on Pluto TV features more than 90 episodes of the series at launch, with additional episodes joining the channel eight days after their CBS premiere. Meanwhile, the On Demand option to watch the four most recent episodes at any given time remains available.
To watch the soap through its dedicated Pluto TV channel, click here, or check for it under the Daytime TV section under the Pluto TV channel lineup. To watch the more recent four episodes On Demand, click here.
Created by Michele Val Jean, “Beyond the Gates” premiered February 24, 2025 on CBS and is the first daytime television soap opera to feature a predominantly Black cast since “Generations” (1989–1991).
In addition to “Beyond the Gates,” Pluto TV also provides the latest episodes of “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” as On Demand options, albeit with a one week delay. Additionally, “classic” episodes of both shows are available, with Season 48 and Season 49 available for “The Young and the Restless” and Season 32 available for “The Bold and the Beautiful,” giving fans of both soaps several hundred hours of soapy content.
Outside of the U.S.-based daytime dramas, the FAST service is also home to a select number of episodes of “Coronation Street,” the U.K.’s longest-running soap opera that focuses on the everyday lives of working-class people in Manchester, England, and all 14 seasons of “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” the Canadian import which spun off from the award-winning “Degrassi” series from the 1980s, like “Kids of Degrassi Street,” “Degrassi Junior High” and “Degrassi High.”
Other soaps available on the service include another Canadian import, “Heartland,” which includes episodes from the show’s first 15 seasons, as well as such classics as “Dynasty,” “Wild Heart” and “Peak Practice.”
For fans of the former ABC daytime drama series, “Dark Shadows,” Pluto TV is currently streaming 647 episodes of the series that ran on ABC from June 27, 1966-April 2, 1971, starting with episode 210. The series features the alluring tales of Gothic mystery and supernatural intrigue, as well as the iconic vampire Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid).
Among other CBS offerings, viewers can catch up on the latest episodes of “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage,” “Ghosts,” “Matlock,” “Elsbeth,” “Tracker,” “Survivor,” “FBI,” “The Neighborhood,” “Poppa’s House,” “NCIS,” “NCIS: Origins,” “Watson,” and much more.
Pluto TV is available as an app on Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, PlayStation, TiVo, Xfinity, Roku, and other Smart TV-enabled devices, including Samsung and Vizio, among others. You can also stream programming via its website without having to register or sign up. However, by doing so, you can customize your viewing experience.
