The June reveal will (possibly) involve a custody battle with Aunt Regina wanting her nephew Ron/Tyrell and niece Celine/Samantha. And maybe June wanting them, too.

What if they expose Martin's role in the deaths of Kenny and Kenny's brother?  If that happens, then I can see Regina or June demanding custody of the teens.  Would a judge allow the teens to decide for themselves?

An umbrella aspect would be Naomi being both June's attorney and Vernon's attorney and being caught in the middle -- and how Jacob would react.

That would be juicy.

Screenshot 2025-07-28 at 4.34.26 PM.pngIm so confused with this June story. The running theory is that those kids were Tyrell and Samantha and they were her kids and we kinda got some hints towards that. HOWEVER we saw the untampered picture clearly and if those were Martin's kids, Naomi would have recognized them which she didnt so I dont know where they are going with this and if some other characters like maybe that girl Tyrell was seeing is the girl (and she has a brother)

It makes no sense for Naomi to not recognize the kids in the picture if they wre close in age to when she first met them. She should have had a reaction if those were her cousin's adopted kids

I hope that you're right.

I hate to say it, but I still don't care about this June story 😒 Ty and Sam are June's biological children who she willingly gave up and they've been adopted. Sam and Ty have said themselves they are super happy with their lives. I hope they don't push some convoluted custody battle. If Regina and even June want to be part of Sam and Ty's life than fine, but a custody battle over THESE grown kids who are happy and rich is not the story I'm checking for.

Similarly, these timelines and ages are insane. Ty and Sam look super young in those photos and according to Regina they were adopted soon after in a really quick and closed adoption. How old were Smitty and Martin when they adopted?

Thank you! That's one of the main issues I have with it. A custody battle would bore me to tears.

@janea4old I am sure the stories will play out differently, but they are the same in theme, that's all. I said months ago that there were many storylines about the past, and this doesn't change my view. I feel a new show should be creating history instead more than half focusing on so many of the characters' past lives.

More annoyed me than not on today's show:

-- Tomas asked Kat how the sex was. She replied "Lovely," which is not what someone Kat's age would say. Tomas went further, saying "That's something you say about your auntie's potato salad." What? Who wrote this dialogue?

-- Kat's entire response to the sex seemed off, because it was pretty much NO reaction. I don't think that's realistic from someone like Kat. She wasn't happy, she wasn't sad, she wasn't regretful, she wasn't emotional. She was nothing.

-- Kat possibly being asexual? Sorry, there's no future in that on a soap.

-- Tomas? He was a robot, as usual.

-- I was glad that Ted turned down Leslie's money grab, and like everyone else, I'm wondering what she did with the $50k. Still, I don't like seeing Eva AGAIN allow herself to be used by her mother. Yeah, there's trauma and breaking those chains and all that. I'm aware, but I don't want Eva playing both sides all the time.

-- Did I hear Andre call Ashley "Nurse Baddie"? Are you kidding me? In what effing universe is she a baddie?

-- For being a main hub at Garland Memorial, that nurses' station has so little activity it's hilarious. Ashley takes breaks at will. Why not, when there are no patients in sight? Only Shanice saved those scenes.

-- Ashley saw how Parisian Andre decorated his apartment for her and said "The is the greatest thing anyone has ever done for me." Kill me now and light me on fire.

-- It's so obvious that Samantha and Tyrell are June's kids that it HAS to be a misdirect. It's way too paint-by-numbers, so I hope to God we're being fooled.

-- If S and T are June's children, I do not want to see a ridiculous custody fight...not when the kids were legally adopted and saved from a very bad home life and a mentally ill mother.

-- I'd still like an explanation as to why that photo June carries around looks like it was taken in 1962.

Oh I see where you're coming from. I just think the backstory is helpful to make the canvas more rich. When I know the backstory, I feel like I know more about who these characters are.  But that's just me.

They do stand around a lot at the hospital, and after all the drama Leslie caused I expected to see some security around.

Maybe the picture was distorted from being rained on. I pray we are being misdirected.

This wasn't supposed to be someone who felt hurt or disappointed.  Kat described it as having no feelings, just flat/blah, and then wondering if there was something with herself.  Exactly that.  I mean the actress Colby was acting the words on the page.   The character Kat was surprised at her own nothingness since she's usually fiery about life.    I know we don't usually see that sort of thing on a soap.  But it's a very real experience that many women have, and I appreciate it.

I kind of like the contrast between Chelsea who is really into sex, and Kat's disinterest, provided they accept that about one another.   It shows that there are a wide variety of ways of being human.  And especially for women I think this is important.  It can still be soapy as long as it's just one facet of Kat.

Actually that works with the context of the scene. She was not enthused or satisfied. The "lovely" lacked emotion and felt dry. It was a quick thing she said to not disappoint him, not something she truly meant

They've already explained June's photo. Its weathered. She's homeless and it snt wrapped in anything to cover it. Its been touched and handled multiple times by her and exposed to the elements of rain, snow, dirt, etc... Its no supposed to be in good condition

Sex on soaps is usually presented as fantastic, mind blowing etc with both partners totally in sync

So to see someone not enthralled by her first time is refreshing. It doesn't make Kat asexual, rather typical of a lot of people's first time experience.

This might lead to Kat realizing she likes Tomas as a person, but not necessarily a sexual partner. Or maybe she'll go along with it to hold on to him and avoid awkward conversations, convincing herself that her inexperience means she is at fault and things will get better.

That did look like a Magnum wrapper Tomas left behind.  And instead of being ripped from a corner, there was a slit down the very CENTER of it, as though he intended to take it home and reuse it as a coin purse.

Maybe this will be a breakthrough storyline about a boy with a small johnson whose vanity led him to purchase an oversized condom, it slipped off on the third thrust, and he inadvertently impregnated his bored girlfriend who believes his Humpin Prowess is as "lovely" as her auntie's potato salad.

Jacob will make sure Kat's second experience will be a memorable one lol.

You're mistaking Jacob for a character we never met.

The mistress between Jacob and Naomi is integrity or lack there of and that's it. No more Duprees being cheated on for the time being.

I’m sure somewhere down the line Kat will meet a nerdy boy who works in the lab at Garland Memorial and he will rock her world unexpectedly.
