I like Derek and Ashley, but I wonder where they are going with them.

I wonder if they have bigger plans for her since she's the only person who knows that Hayley isn't pregnant.

Ashley can stay. Derek can GO!

Nope other way around. Ashley is useless even Andre can't bring anything out of her. Shanice has made Derek a whole different person

Today's episode was just good. It didn't wow me. Best parts were Shanice and Derek and the Nicole/Martin hug. Too bad we didn't get a follow-up to it. Instead, we get Dani telling Nicole, "You need us."

The Ted and Nicole scenes fell flat for me.

Oh, and Bill acts more like Martin's father than Ted does.

Of course, always enjoy Jacob too!

Ted is a terrible father to Martin.

Ashley was being immature and pathetic. Plus, Derek and Shanice weren't even paying attention to that silly show she put on.

Nicole has a right to be angry, but I felt her confrontation with Ted was more about the affair than him not telling about Martin. If she wants to divorce him she should just say it and make veiled comments and then walk out.

Anita is being much too comfortable in making excuses for the cover up.

Shanice and Derek were very sweet in this episode. I hope they continue to go in the fun and comedic direction with them. Things are getting dark on the other side of the canvas.

This is the first role I have enjoyed with Karla Mosley. She was a nothing-burger on GL, and very hit-and-miss on BB. I thought she did well today not much of a fan when she is playing over the top. And no, I never saw Dani as the "Bad" one. We've been waiting and asking for more conflict between her and her mother, but that has yet to happen.

Today's episode was just okay for me. Nothing outstanding. Something is lacking from a lot of these scenes. I feel they're moving Nicole around too fast, and her scenes are not landing. Her perspective is still muffled. Nicole's scenes with both Ted and Martin should've been longer and gone deeper into conversation. All her scenes today felt anticlimactic.

I've finally accepted the wisdom of Martin being the Dupree grandson instead of the son.  When Nicole walked into the house at the end of Thursday's show and saw Anita & Vernon hovering all over him and patting on him, I laughed my butt off.  You could tell how incensed Nicole was that her (overbearing) parents had pretty much taken over the parenting of her kid.

Anita's lines were hilarious.  "You can stay here as LONG as you want, baby.  And bring the children!!  They can stay here too!!"

She acted like her world was complete, now that Sweet Baby was in her grandmotherly clutches.  She never once suggested that he take his ass home where he belongs.  "You're my HEART!" she cooed as she hugged him till she nearly strangled him.

I think the (dark) humor of their entire relationship stems from the way they shoved Nicole & Ted aside and just took over Martin for themselves.

I agree. It's too late now to go back; there's more drama to play with them being overbearing grandparents, even though it would have made more sense for him to be their child. I am moving on from that.

Well Daarrrrn Daphne in this recap of last week!!! Can't wait to rewatch Anita vs Nicole after that.

Good to see Sara and Lynn who have been a good breakdown/scripting team.

Yessss at Nosy Nurse!!!! Eyeroll at Ashley.

I'm soooo over Dani/Andre, but was looking forward to her learning about Martin's Secret. And I'm blown away at this scene at the house right now as they are giving POV that I'm not used to seeing on soaps anymore.

Cute Bill/Chels scene.

Hey, Jacob, hey!!!

I'm assuming they didn't want Nicole/Ted and Nicole/Martin to go down in the same episode. I felt more positively towards this episode, because there was real emotion from Daphnee and Karla really played her parts so well. I thought the Nicole/Ted scenes highlighted how far from over the affair she feels. Her arguments about Ted not telling her were rooted in her hurt around the lies of the affair, because where was this anger towards her father and why isn't she more looking at herself and questioning why her son chose not to come to her for two years. Yes, he was being advised by Vernon not to speak, but at some point if he really felt he needed his mom he would have turned or her. There is some weird fracture between Martin and his parents and I wonder if it is intentional and the writers will play into it or if it was an accident brought about by the way stories have been written thus far.

HAHAHAHAHA Not Nosy Nurse being messy!!! And yet just another eyeroll at Carrie Bradshaw-Lite.

Say what you wish about Bill but it is nice to see his softer side when he's with his kids.

Okay...at first I liked this POV scene. And I like that it is being given room to breathe, but now some of it is dancing the line on preachy.

Woooow look at Nicole sashying her way into the mansion. And I giggled at Dani just hopping on up and walking right on out.

Well...like son, like father...with these pants today.

*gasps* Jacob, no!!! Wrong road, Jacob, wrong road!!!

Hey, blue jeans, hey! hehe. Good cameraman.

Hahahaha! 'Cookies? At this hour?' I love the Dani/Nicole dynamic.

Overall, I thought it was a good slow aftermath episode.

And then they did a mini-preview and ??? Was that for real?

Dani, girl you ain't slick. You know you want Andre all to yourself.

Damn Shanice, you thirsty. Derek is no prize though.

Ashley's game to make Derek jealous isn't gonna work. We know deep down she wants to be with Andre.

Nicole needs to kick Ted to the curb. Carlton is waiting for her.
