Rocco found the documents. So I am thinking:
1) Rocco learns how he was birthed. Doesn't hold it against Lulu and Dante.
2) When KT arrives, she most likely will be Britt. Rocco will have questions for her and maybe develop a friendship with Britt.

Still a headscratcher why they'd hire ELR and then not only waste her, but also make her loathsome. Nathlia could easily have repented for her homophobia through Marco. We all agree the 2nd DWI is the lamest - 'you're going to prison unless you rat Sonny out.'

Meanwhile, Alexis and Liz freely talk about Kristina's attempted murder. I suppose Kristina being sober when she cut the breaklines is the *moral* lesson here. lol

Yes, Drewcifer is a bad dude. As long as Sonny and Jason have access to W+A, Michael's logic is severely off. And why hasn't Willow pointed that out? Oh, that's because the writers don't want us to take her side.

It's a headscratcher they hired Eva for THIS part in the first place.  I suppose you can assume there were bigger plans for Blaze that fell apart for whatever reason.  I just don't know why they kept the homophobic mother and doubled down on that with Marco.  You are correct.  There was an easy way out for the character.

If you have someone as famous as ELR you should at least give it all a try.  Have her and Sonny give it a go, try to reform her, make Sidwell a serious threat to her, show her descent into alcoholism, etc.  Instead Natalia just lingered for a year plus and then became an alkie overnight.  I doubt Natalia would have ever become a popular character, but if you have ELR there you should use her.

Yeah that's the part that bewilders me. They didn't even try. Usually when you get a name actor you at least give it a go. They allowed Natalie to just...exist. There wasn't even a simmer with her, no hint of things to come, no potential plot threads to explore. Everything about her was lukewarm, even her homophobia!

Correct.  I don't even know why she was homophobic.  I assume it was based off religion, but she is a twice divorced woman that has multiple DWI's* and never seemed religious?   She rarely spoke about her faith.

*not saying divorced women with an alcohol problem can't be religious, it's a just a weird narrative choice for a TV show.

Same. I always felt Eva was here for drama for Blaze/Kristina. And they did ELR no favors by how they had her as a homophobe. I also felt that at some point Marco (under his original name ;) ) was going to pop up because Natalia and Blaze mentioned waaaay too much to not believe that was not the plan. So I thought they stopped it when Blaze abruptly left as well. Also shocked her brother FINALLY hit town.

Just a mess. And Natalia for sure was DOA once it was revealed her ex was Sidwell.

I don't think it's some big mystery tbh. Not long after this time last year they were going all in on Natalia, trying to put her with Sonny, with Korte/CVE trying to spin the leaked bigot tape as being all about Ava as the one to blame for Natalia's own words. Then Natalia briefly did a 180 as a GLAAD mom and became super tight with Kristina, who she'd been at the throat of for months. This is how FV operates: When an audience doesn't like a pet hire, he usually doubles or triples down trying to push them harder. The Sidwell thing was also obviously intended to give her a major story initially.

What I think changed here is not just that the audience response to Natalia was so massively negative, but moreso that MB clearly was not going for it. They never so much as kissed. In a normal circumstance that would've happened by fall '24. It was very unusual and specific. Instead they kept her devotedly at arm's length even while trying to shine up her image until at least a couple months ago, having her as Sonny's medical confidant. It was like FV and GH kept hedging their bets on putting Natalia over with the viewers until the last possible minute. Then the switch flipped and she became regularly humiliated as prep for her exit, lol. And suddenly every character is allowed to say what the audience already thinks of her.

tldr: I put it on Mo. He didn't want it, the audience hated her and those two things (and probably some other new favorite hires of FV who pulled his attention, which always happens with most of his pet gets) are what sealed ELR's fate. Which couldn't come soon enough for me.

I think it has something to do with Mo. After they sent Blaze packing it looked like she was earmarked for Little Sonny. Basically, they dated, flirted, ate meals together, she was let in on the secret about his heart, his health issues. They did story about his heart but no story about his libido. This was strange. This IS the point where it went off the rails entirely. They stopped dating, stopped everything. Then, only then, did Sidwell become a thing.

But, you notice, Marco does not suffer from the same Sidwellness of it all.

Kristina getting away with attempted murder that actually lead to hospitalization for TWO people, just because oh no it would hurt the family, is maddening. And now not only is she free, she’s still plotting against the woman she was trying to kill. And everyone just assumes she’s not still a [!@#$%^&*].in psychopath.

The damage they’ve done to the Kristina character under Kate Mansi is basically irreparable for me. I don’t see me ever liking the character again which is a shame as I had been a long time Mansi fan.

Same. I was looking forward to seeing more Kristina because she was soooo underused.

Now I can't stand to look at her.

So many complaints about GH today -- and all of them valid, all of them on the mark.

Let me add: Those pool scenes today were AWFUL. Every one of them.

The drunk we've never seen before who hits on Lulu? And she needs Gio to come to her rescue? Awful. Lulu was never in any kind of danger, and the entire scene was laughable. Gio yelling "The pool is closed" for the first of many times was ridiculous.

Then the guy falls in the pool. OFF CAMERA. Then we here a story that Gio had to rescue him and had to be thrown a flotation device by Lulu to do that. We also got a ridiculous Metro Court guy telling Gio he did a great job. Ugh.

Gio's and Lulu's hysterical laughing over this was really hard to watch, and none of it played as genuine and natural. BTW, how do you close the pool and then allow yourself -- an employee -- and a guest to dangle their feet in the water?

And don't get me started with Rocco's and Danny's antics at the pool on their first day of work. When did these teens ever seem THAT clueless and irresponsible? It was all completely absurd.

I mean, we could've at least seen Gio take his shirt off 😂😂😂😂

I mean, teens absolutely do that. I buy it from Danny.
