Oh! you're referring to the presence/strength that emanates from the actor. I was referring to the characterization.  Different things that can overlap.

Okay. Yeah Keith has a softer presence than Maurice but they both compel me in different ways.   Perhaps we'll see Keith's presence stronger as he grows into the role.  At any rate, I personally found Keith compelling and wanted to watch him.

Just got home from work and chilling a bit before I dig into the new episode.

I'm glad to read that Anita and Tracy had some good scenes and I can't wait to see TT finally get something to sink her teeth into.  She's far too talented and likable to continued being saddled with those weird monologues that even she can't make work all the time.

The one thing I've noticed after about 60 episodes is that the show seems to rotate all the stories from week to week where they get A level attention.  So I have no doubt that Derek/Ashley will get less attention next week since they received B+ attention this week...and I guess Hayley finally is getting some attention though that means that energy vampire Dani will be seen

Leslie is nuts! Her pretending to be Nicole was peak insane. Trisha has plenty to put in an Emmy reel so far, but that could seal a nomination.

NuTed finally did something to break out of the background and hopefully he keeps it up.

Vanessa trying to stand up for Nicole wasn't wrong, but she has no room to judge anyone on adultery. Doug seems like a good person outside of the gambling and clearly has never cheated, yet Vanessa has constantly played in his face with her cheating.

Tracy got Anita to be truthful and for the mask to slip. If Tracy is this direct I cannot imagine how much Sharon is going to go in.

Yes he was. Ted had a dark side. One thing I noticed that different is I felt OG Ted had the capacity to kill Leslie if she pushed him too hard. I don’t get with this Ted as he’s been far too patient with her . His angry doesn’t convey the darkness that the character had before. He was ain’t ish in a way I came to feel was worse than Bill. I don’t think the new guy portrays him more from a heroic standpoint.

Silk Press Sheila at it again!

Nosy Nurse in her messy element!

Anita vs Tracy!

Smitty and those glasses AND a Jazmen episode?

YES, PLEASE.

Same. I love that this show knows how to rotate the cast so you don't get tooooo tired of someone. Some other shows could take note.

'Oh...that's Ms. B!tch.' OMG!!! Not Silk Press Sheila giving an old school threatening villainess scene. and the building background music was EVERYTHING in that moment.

Oooooo YES! Loving Anita vs Tracy. If this is how it's going down with Tracy, I can't wait for Sharon to show up.

Smitty vs Martin now. Lord...

Well given the various discussions about Anita...this part of her vs Tracy looks like it's touching on Anita as a person now!

Not Silk Press Sheila in a Nicole wig!!!!!!  Living up to her nickname sake with the light Lauren hatred.

And now Vanessa laying into NuTed while Nosy Nurse is around...lol.

Like Ms. B!tch to you. lol. I love his writing.

One thing that we can say for sure...all the soaps (except Y&R and B&B I am afraid and I'm sure someone watching DAYS can correct me since I'm in catch-up mode) are giving Friday cliffhangers this May Sweeps it seems and loving it.

As he should. Given the progress they have done with the Martin's secret storyline, I know they are not going to end May Sweeps without giving some good tea/shocking info/reveal in that storyline to take our next A story into summer. Especially since the SilkPress storyline is shifting into a new turn.

    • Aqua is an in house brand for Bloomingdales.  It's not terribly pricey, but not cheap. $150 for dresses.
    • Also, just checked, Hope was wearing Alice + Olivia ($595) and Sami wore a more shocking green, and it was by Aqua (price not indicated)
    • CIARA's outfit would have been fine if the cameraman wasn't literally filming down her shirt.  You could see Victoria's bra and boobs for at least half the episode lol.
    • Also, I'm giving Hope's Chanel jacket and Ceara's leather pants a pass, because I don't think they knew that they would wind up in Salem today when they got dressed.  So, there's been no time/opportunity to change outfits. Although

it reminded me that Sami and Hope seemed to have both shopped at a Chanel-knockoff outlet recently.  And if Hope, Ceara, and Bo suddenly have a change of clothes next week, I'm gonna need a throwaway line about how Hope raided Aunt Maggie's closet because of all that shopping she's been doing with Julie. Yep, it must be why they so rarely show flashbacks of the whole wedding party. Caroline looks like Kate 1.0
    • Lol.  I just really disliked Melissa. Melissa was gone before Billie and I THINK before Carly. I have no idea who the people are on the right of Bo.  Was that the weird time they recast Caroline and Shawn?  I think the kids are Eric and Sami.   Marlena and Abe look fancy and fresh lol.

The third man is Howie Hofstetter, Bo's friend who helped Hope get out of marrying Larry Welch. I'm holding out for a hero… I'll let someone else tell you who the other two are, because it will blow your mind. Poor Bo & Hope had a free destination wedding in England, at a castle, and only the "B" team of Salem was available to attend! Also, (to paraphrase an old song) tonight we're celebratin' the love of Hope's scullcap at her English wedding.  A lot has happened in between. But, it was still an amazing headpiece. That deserves recognition for not only how long KA kept it pinned to her head, but then she loved it so, she wore it at her real wedding.
    • Watch it still be more of a classic than what B&B and Y&R would show.
    • It's a repeat. Not sure of the episode # just yet.
    • Aw, I care about Melissa. Hope's OG bff, and I'm talking before the SORAS. #neverforget I think the polite thing to do is just a simple Happy Anniversary, plus heartfelt message, without the mention of specific years. Did Melissa ever interact with Billie or Carly? I'm guessing fake Melissa did with the latter before she left? That picture made me realize I've never really thought about how it was pre-Steve and John existing. And no Roman, or Kayla, or Doug and Julie. Who was Bo's best man? And who are the three people next to him in that picture?
    • Lol.  No one cares about Melissa.  She's a non factor. I do side eye the Billie/Carly years and the multiple divorces, but I still consider John/Marlena's 1986 marriage to be their real marriage even though it's not, so I'll let the whole thing slide with Bo/Hope.  Kristian looks great so when you hear 40 years of marriage you think she was like 11 when she got married.
