Members dragonflies
Wouldn't they be like GH since CBS owns the show, there wouldn't be need for a renewal
Members Taoboi
Well, I am happy for it, I'm really here for the comments. Please register in order to view this content I admit that has crossed my mind hearing this news. So thank you. It does sound like they are trying to beef up their daytime soap lineup. It would be nice to see it start to outperform everyone in sight in time.
Webmaster Errol Posted Tuesday at 08:50 PM Webmaster Share Posted Tuesday at 08:50 PM I expect to hear news on Beyond the Gates' future at CBS no later than July. Although CBS is a co-owner, I'd think with P&G Studios' involvement, they might do renewal announcements like they do with B&B and Y&R. They could also not say anything and it continues to air until it doesn't like you noted about GH. Live+7 and streaming have now become "multiplatform" viewing, which is why the show has a bigger number when factoring in those figures than it used to when we had Live+7 data. Back then, the show was lucky to see a boost of 200,000 viewers after seven days from just the CBS broadcast. With about 2.6 million viewers watching this season (a little more than that), to "nearly" average 3.2 million for the season would mean about 300-400,000 additional viewers come from people watching on Paramount+ and CBS TVE (CBS App and CBS.com). That being said, as noted in my article on the renewal: During the week of March 31-April 4, 2025, the most recent week in which Live+Same Day ratings data is available, the soap opera ranked third among unrounded Women 18-49 (0.33 rating), topping “TODAY 3rd Hour” (0.32 rating) and even “The Young and the Restless” (0.31 rating), for the first time this season.
Members 1974mdp
Imagine...B&B in the year 2028. How much you want to bet we'll hear this line of dialogue? "Ridge, you have to pick between me and Taylor."

Members Maxim
I remember Bradley Bell referring to 2024 as one of the best... if not the best season of the show. That's the moment I lost hope. Any last ounce of hope. BUT... I am still happy. Bold has been my childhood-forming soap... and I would not want to let it go. I'll be there till the last... bitter day. I'll be the bish drinking vodka on the Titanic just to stay warm and survive couple of more seconds more.
Members Contessa Donatella
This is exactly my thought about BTG. But before it gets lost, I want to congratulate any & all fans of BOLD. I personally find it both remarkable & good that CBS is as committed to its soaps as it seems to be.
Members kalbir
As of today B&B is the 8th longest-running daytime drama on US network television, after General Hospital, Guiding Light, Days, As the World Turns, Y&R, One Life to Live, All My Children. Two key dates: Tuesday March 23, 2027 will be B&B 40th anniversary. Monday December 11, 2028 if B&B is still on CBS, it will have had a longer run than All My Children on US network television. Members DRW50
I'm happy for all the crew and all in the cast who work hard, as well as being happy for a soap to still be on the air. I don't really have any connection to B&B and haven't in a very long time - probably the last was when Darlene Conley died - but I'm happy for those left who do. Most of all I am just glad that CBS is still committed to their soaps after a long period where I wasn't sure how true that was going to remain. Members Contessa Donatella
Yes, you of course! As much as I understand what you hate about it I also know that on some level it is your show & as such you love it, too.
Members soapfan770
By 2028 I fully expect Thudley to hire Amanda Setton as either Taylor #5 or #6 @Taoboi @Maxim @YRfan23 Please register in order to view this content Same here. The show had its chance to revisit the Spectra’s years ago but of course they blew it epically…and for the last 5 years our Sally Spectra II has been on Y&R. Go figure. Some of the recent stories tells me what a lack of imagination Thudley has for the show. Instead of bringing on an already established presence like a Diana Carter or something we got some convoluted twist that Luna is Finn’s daughter and thus Sheila’s granddaughter and that’s why she is psycho…or some nonsense. I stopped watching the show. @kalbir I guess the CBS executives didn’t see my proposal for the show to be moved to 3:30/2:30 either
