They also forgot that it was Ted who told Andre he didn't want to confess to the affair at this point. But today Andre told Ted "I know you want to come clean." Huh? Did a scene get deleted?

I wanted the camera to pan down and we see Mike's little feet dangling.

The cameraman has done a great job hiding it versus MM's onion so it was reeeeall noticeable yesterday. lol.

LMAO!!!

Same. I've been saying that for a while. The show has definitely done a great job that...if she was not obsessed with Bill...Dani is an awesome businesswoman. Not completely nurturing, but will go to bat for who she manages...which is ripe for organic conflict in and of itself.

Same. Color me shocked. I was looking forward to Bill vs Naomi. Now she is backing out?? SMH.

And the Tracy/Alan storyline on Y&R

I continue to love everyone is coming around to Brandon. But I love that quite a few of the wooden actors are sloooooowwly getting comfortable enough to give better performances.

I agree. I love that family unit.

All the product placements on  #BTG reminds me of when #DAYS did all the Chinese food scenes
Also,  #BTG needs to give Cady McClain something to do as Pamela Curtis.

It's a Jazmen episode. So of course I was going to like it.

There was so much going on. And I honestly feel like I missed so much both viewing. Especially in the Bill/Naomi scenes. I guess to me...part of it is the watching on my phone vs my tv PS watching live in a little while since it's a 'Not Loading on the System' week for CBS...there were so much layers going on.

It was all B stories, but I found there was so much movement and character development going on with each story. Also...the actors were acting. And even got to see Nosy Nurse, too!!! AND outside of the Ashley/Derek/Andre bubble.

There were so many things I liked. I really liked the Martin/Smitty family scenes. For so long in those scenes, Smitty came across the Mother in that group. This was the first time Martin was THAT Mother. And I loved it. And it resonated because if I was to ever have kids, I do feel like that would be how I would be...diva shade and all. LOL!! I also felt those scenes show how good Jazmen's dialogue can be with the younger cast since he himself is young which I love. I love having a teen storyline on a soap. Curious to see where it goes and how it will effect the whole family unit.

I don't know what game Vanessa is playing but I do know it's becoming a little more dangerous. That whole scene with her using her own husband to get a rise out of Diego (hey, Diego, hey! lol) I don't feel that was a good idea. And then she made Diego be Doug's trainer for the day. smh. Meanwhile, Doug continue to fall more and more into Joey's talons and trying to work his way out. And good use of Randy to keep Joey's absent presence alive. And good seeing Nosy Nurse.

And Bill and Naomi. I've very disappointed that it seems we won't be getting Naomi vs Bill in the courtroom. And now I wonder if the lawsuit storyline is going to up and vanish now. I did like that the scenes gave way to exploring the Bill/Naomi dynamic and getting eve more into their past. Make them inroads, Bill!! And OOPS...not Bill firing Mike. Perhaps this is going to turn into a whole other storyline.

And I saved the best for last. I know @kalbir is going to love seeing all the Dani/Andre praise. lol. As a Day 1 Fan, I love their scenes. Just when I think the writers might not go there with the Drunk Dani storyline, we get scenes of her spiraling. In multiple dresses. But I continue to love Andre being there for her and their chemistry. I do wonder if the show casted that 'baddie' Jacob (mmm Jacob) was trying to set Andre up with. A way to walk him away from the Ashley/Derek storyline?

People been saying that for a while, but they really have never been alone in the same scene except for maybe once. So good to have them perfectly side-by-side so people can see what others have pointed out...Jacob and Andre DO look like they could be brothers if not twins.

I think I caught what you all were mentioning on yesterday's episode. It's very primetime cut/fade out. And might I say done better than someone else we know *cough*frank*cough*

But yeeah, still trying to find their rhythm.

The power of Jazmen.

Yeah it's pretty old school. Back when soaps would throw out the new promo for their shows usually by Wednesday. I admit that I like it when I'm binging Y&R and B&B

Hahahaha!!! stop!!!

LMFAO!!!

Some thoughts on the episode for today:

- Andre is too good to be saddled with the entitled and toxic Dani.

- I'm interested in seeing Cady as she molds the character of Pamela, her first original character.  Pamela is nothing like Dixie nor Rosanna today... she reminds me of Olga (the modeling guru that helped Erica Kane with her career on AMC) and the late Carrie Donovan (Link

- I'm team Hayley.  Dani is just so unlikable that I'm glad Bill cheated on her and dumped her.

- Jacob and Naomi have a nice chemistry and rapport with one another.  The thing Naomi refuses to see is that the reason she's such a pragmatic/logical person and is good at her job is because of her father Bill.   It underscores the importance and contributions of fathers to not only their sons, but their daughters.

- Bill was a little scary in his scenes with Mike, but you need those scenes to contrast with the scenes of Bill as a father.  The show is at least recognizing that you need a strong male character that you love to hate.

- Smitty/Martin need a recommendation for a good marriage counselor from Nicole

    • I think I can help with pointing to a period where to start watching. The show is available in youtube in multiple playlists that I'm sure someone already sent to you, so I won't do that. You can easily find them also by typing Edge of night and the year you are searching on the youtube search engine. Mid 1979 till the end (1984) are pretty much 90 percent there thanks to some amazing uploaders. I would suggest for a new viewer a starting episode of 6077 - it's the episode that begins the Mansion of the damned storyline. Before that... it's the end of a prior storyline and I found it very confusing and hard to watch, because you are getting the climax of something that was happening long time before you start. You can start watching from 6077 - the episode where Nola gets the offer to do the movie script... and just go from there. Once you watch this episode... you won't be able to stop.  Quite frankly if someone had told me to start with this episode... I would have spared myself the struggle of the other 30-40 episodes before that. If you need help with links or playlists... I can also help, and you can message me anytime.

    • I haven't had 1 free second the past few days, so I'm gonna have to catch up tomorrow. Judging by the amount of people posting here... I'm getting the feeling it's going to be GOOD.
    • Yeah... Trisha Mann-Grant totally stole the show today. Idk if it was intentional or unintentional, but I've had a lot more sympathy for the characters that we were led to believe were the villains on this show, from the very beginning. And with Dana/Leslie, it was no different, especially after today. And surprisingly, I was impressed by Brandon Claybon too, in that scene where Martin raged at Ted. I wish it had gone on a little longer. And I love how Smitty was there for him too. I really hope the effects of this play out for a long time. This could have such a ripple effect across the canvas and I hope it does. Ted/Nicole, Dani/Andre, Kat/Tomas/Eva, Martin/Smitty, Bill/Naomi/Chelsea, there are so many possibilities.  And I know this is a nitpick, but why weren't Tyrell and Samantha at their grandparents' anniversary party?
    • I'm starting to wonder that as well.
    • That makes sense, as they are both outsiders.
    • I was thinking more unforeseen ones. I haven't thought of anything yet besides like you said...the setbacks with his daughters.    I also can see Hayley and Eva probably finally bonding.

    • Yes, Billy was all nostalgic about the Abbott home and didn't like the changes, yet he had no second thoughts or respect when completely renovating Chancellor. He could have actually mentioned that misguided step as evidence to Diane that these type of changes can backfire.
