When they showed Nicole with Febreeze last week, it was more obvious.
Yesterday Monday it was much less obvious, but on the live broadcast yesterday right after she sprayed, it cut to a Febreeze commercial.

I'm guessing they're kind of adding Nicole spraying Febreeze as a character trait, so it might not need to be obvious with the label all the time. This is sort of the thing Irna originally talked about when selling soap products on soap operas - work it into the story rather than the infamous "Chao's Chicken" scene from DAYS

In all my decades of life, I don't think I've ever paid attention to commercials before. I used to leave the room or mute the commercials, and now I usually fastforward or use an adblocker online.

I didn't watch the original P&G soaps, but I'm sure watching this one now.  I'm impressed with P&G's DEI initiatives on their website in support of diverse consumers and in support of diverse P&G employees.

My local grocery store advertising flyer is promoting a P&G discount and I'm actually buying the products.  I want to support them.

Exactly, they are following Irna's vision (intentionally or not) of placing the product, not shoving it in our faces.

Funny to think the actress playing wide-eyed teenager Samantha has several years on the ones playing her older cousins.

It goes without saying, but Trisha Mann-Grant is a f.ucking STAR. The way she can switch from being casual with her friends in the diner, to being conniving against Ted, to bursting out in tears to hide her ulterior motives is amazing to watch. This is an actress who cares and invests beyond the bare minimum. If the Daytime Emmy's even mean anything anymore, she should be a top contender for Supporting Actress next season.

Same. She compared herself to Viola Davis lol, but her voice and bone structure, and style of acting remind me of Angela Bassett.
